Andy Hnilo's Guided PEMF Treatment with Electrons Plus

A live recorded session (Aug 3, 2018) featuring Andy Hnilo, Kiki Cordero, and Ryan Luby demonstrating and discussing Electrons Plus guided PEMF (Pulse Electromagnetic Field) therapy. The participants describe how the treatment purportedly stimulates dormant nerves and muscles, reduces inflammation, aids recovery (including oncology supportive care), and produces emotional releases; a live demo on Andy includes neck, shoulder, jaw, hip, and facial work with reported immediate subjective improvements. The piece mixes demonstration, practitioner commentary, patient anecdote, and audience Q&A/contact info.
I can take off this.
You're live.
Hey, we're live. What's going on here with Electrons plus? So what does PEMF stand for, guys?
Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy.
Oh, I'm sorry, I need to answer it. This is Kiki Cordero.
Hi.
And Ryan Luby.
Hey, guys, how you doing?
When I first did the Post, I tagged the Wrong Ryan Luby, P.A.
There'S a news reporter who my name or something. He gets the more Google hits than I do, so.
Oh man, I feel that. That's awesome. So yeah, if you. If you wouldn't mind just explaining what this does and what it's meant to do as far as healing, regenerative properties and then.
Whoa.
I'm not even doing that shoulder shimmy.
So what there, what you guys are seeing right now, he has no control over his body because what we do with Electrons plus is guided Pulse Electromagnetic therapy. So it actually transfers through me to him to find where he has dormant nerve endings. Dormant muscles or live ones. Like you can see the ones jumping right now. And that means that's all healthy tissue and nerves.
Oh, nice.
Now what this does is it makes you jump, it makes you laugh, but it actually works on a cellular level. So it repairs the cells, it recharges them, it regenerates dormant nerve endings, it opens up your passageways, so that way you can have increased circulation, minimize inflammation. It also helps to alkalize the bloodstream. The more treatments that you get because you're putting the current into the bloodstream, which purifies it so disease can't live in it. The technology itself is FDA approved for anxiety, depression, bone fractures and brain cancer, though it is most commonly used for chronic pain and like post op healing.
That's. Yeah, I'm not doing that, guys.
Alright, so ready? Exhale. Turn to your right.
So exhale, turn to my right.
Yeah.
Wait, that would be inhale.
There we go. And then back to center. So we know from your little diagnostics check earlier that there's something going on on the right side of your neck. That was it right there. Your blockage on the right side of the neck. And rather than doing like active release or trigger point release, that is our version of it. So fighting the current essentially opens up the nerve waves, so you actually have better flow.
Okay. Yeah. Ooh. So that's. I had a lot of pa. Yeah, I had a partial tear in my rotator cuff back when I used to play baseball. And the partial tears, as you know, they are. Mentally, your body heals itself, but it takes a while as far as growing back. And a lot of the times a full tear is better. Right. As far for healing.
Yeah, for healing.
Because you do all those exercises, the jobs, and to strengthen the rotator cuff and have it grow back correctly. But I didn't wait around long enough. I kind of just wanted to accelerate the healing and came back too soon, and that was just the wrong way to do it. But this is probably what explains a lot of that, you know, damage on the right side of my body. Now, neck wise, as far as. No, I love it. I'll keep going. And then. But neck wise, there may. There's probably some trauma from my accident, but 100.
And you're also overcompensating for injuries. So everything's connected as you know. So usually if you do have a shoulder injury, you are going to have neck strain as well. And we're usually not the brightest when we're younger and we have tears and we just want to get back into the sport or we don't want to actually listen to the PT because what does. What do those exercises really do?
Yeah.
So that's why it keeps a constant strain. And it could be something so silly down the line, like walking your dog on a leash and it pulls the wrong way, and all of a sudden you have a tear.
Oh, yeah. And you hear guys, like, you know, lifting their bags off, you know, the conveyor belt at the airport and tearing the rotator. It's like, how'd you hurt yourself? Lifting up my luggage?
But it was wear and tear for many, many years. And that's just the thing.
I've seen it time and time again. Baseball often. So, guys, that's like. It's not painful at all. It feels good. It's just like. But that's your body just releasing. So what causes that? Is that nerve response, would you say?
It is.
Man, I'd like to get something going right here on my face, you know, because that's. Oh, nice. Because that there was a nerve severed on one of the points of impact or how I landed. But that communicates all attention to this side of my face. So movement from my brain to that side of my face was disrupted big time.
It still is.
I overcompensate a little bit when I smile and talk on this side of my face, but it's kind of fuzzy. My lip is definitely still numb.
It's a lot.
Really? Oh, yeah, yeah. When I put it on chapstick, someone.
Just asked, what does it feel like?
Well, it's. Yeah. So it's. It's nice. It's like this, it's like a little subtle shock that doesn't shock you, if that makes sense. Like it's like a nice massage.
It's like it's actually the equivalent. So a 30 minute session is equal equivalent of three deep tissue massages. Wow. But you're working on a cellular level, so you're actually healing on top of that, not just loosening up your body. Just kind of move around your neck right now, just for a little bit, see how you feel.
So I have a little sharp pain right there.
Okay, let's do it. That was really hyper mobile, by the way.
Oh, that's good. Yeah, in there.
And, and that's a cool thing as a practitioner for anyone that actually does body work. And you tend to hurt yourselves a lot when you're doing massages and stuff like that. So this is great because you're really not using any force, even though it probably feels like having a grip on you right now. But I'm really not touching very hard.
Really. So you're just gliding through and that's just the pull. Wow. Yeah. And that feels like you're really getting in there. Three full body massage, deep tissue massages in 30 minutes. I mean, I get one or two sizes a week. Do the math on that. 200 bucks. That's a lot.
And if you think about it, because it's actually regenerating the nerves and the cells, every time you do it, it just opens up and heals more and more. So it's not. It's something that like.
The most popular.
Reason people come in neck and shoulders in stress. And then I see a lot of people for bad backs. And it's all like most of it is not because they're athletes or because they're working out. It's because, you know, they just either think they take care of their bodies or they, you know, are maybe working out incorrectly and they put themselves to the point where they don't do anything anymore. I do work on a lot of people like pre post op. So because it accelerates healing, if you have an incision or bruising, it can take it away in a fraction of the time.
Wow. Can you tell me what you told me about oncology treatment? Cancer patients?
Yes. So this is again, FDA approved for brain cancer. And in Europe it's what? It's FDA approved for brain cancer. So if you look in Europe and you look up PEMF and cancer and just Google it, you'll see that in Europe they actually use it for cancer treatments. We just don't do it here in the States. I sit on the board for leukemia lymphoma back in Arizona, and I donate my time to oncology patients because I know what it does for them. So out of the five patients that I worked on, four of them instantly got their saliva glands back and were able to eat food they wanted to eat. They were able to drink water without that metallic taste and without it burning in the esophagus. They were able to sleep when they needed to sleep, and they got energy when they needed energy. And a lot of them. I actually worked on their incisions as well, because especially one of my guys who had rectal cancer, actually, and they had to go through his stomach, and he's an ex NFL athlete, and, you know, he didn't stand up straight for 10 months because he was too afraid of the incision. He had never even laid down after his incision because he was too afraid it would hurt his stomach. And after his first treatment, where we only worked on his fingertips and neck, he. I had fastened a lot. He didn't even question it. And then his eyes got big, and I was like, are you okay? Like, what's going on? He's like, I haven't laid down in 10 months. He's like, I don't feel any pain. I mean, it's just really remarkable what it does for the body. Jeez.
It's unbelievable. Yeah. I definitely have someone that I want you to see or want them to see you for. Sure.
Happy to do it.
Let's see how that feels, man. So great.
Please. Saw that pain? No.
Let me see.
Most people can't move their neck like this. Just saying. Really?
No, I feel great.
People, like, really want to move their neck like that.
Yeah. Yeah. No, it was. It's not there anymore. 100% it's not there.
Awesome. Okay.
Wow.
So we're gonna move some things around.
It's not there. Yeah. So lower back. Lower back. Let's go.
Let's do it. He wants to go and take up.
A shot, and then I move this. This way.
Yeah. Have your head here. And let's actually just lay you on.
Your side so facing.
Facing the wall.
Okay. All right. So I had a. That lay completely down, right?
Just on your side.
Yeah.
And then you could use your arm as a pillow. Unless you want me to grab a pillow from somewhere.
No, this is good. So I. I messed up after, you know, years of pounding with running. You know, even if you're running on the balls of your feet, the pounding on your lower back, you're still pounding.
Put this underneath your thigh.
Okay.
Yeah. Thank you.
And is that good?
Yeah, that's perfect.
And yeah, so I had, like, an L5 injury when I was playing, and it's just one of those things I was trying to speed through. The back is obviously one of the most crippling things when you get out of bed, if you can. Sometimes when you have a bad injury, you can't get out of bed. Oh, I remember not even being able to touch my toes.
It's like, all consuming as well.
Oh, yeah. Everything you do.
All right.
Yeah. So it's nice to get that back. Oh, yeah. There we go.
Dig right in.
There we go. Dig, Dig in.
So one thing that we did talk about earlier is that, you know, a lot of people are like, oh, yeah, I've had a tens unit done before. Like, my chiropractor does that. It's not a tens. TENS is electricity, electromagnetic field, which is why we can transfer it to one another. Number one, it's cellular, and it works on the nerves, so you can actually also put it directly onto the spine. Yeah.
So like we said earlier, like, this kind of just runs the Earth's natural frequencies. It goes from about 7 hertz to 30 hertz. So that waves are a lot. They're a lot bigger than the other ones. So you're thinking, like, radio waves are in the megahertz range, so it's a whole spectrum. But this is what the Earth naturally has. And so the concept of grounding is essentially what this is. But because of modern life, it's kind of just like our soil's been depleted. So in theory, if you eat a good organic diet, you don't need supplements, but you kind of really do need things like magnesium, because it's just not in the soil anymore. The same with this. The Earth's magnetic field has actually changed. It's not quite as strong as it used to be. So supplementing with this just on a general PEMF level, is going to give that and kind of recharge your cellular batteries. So if you look at cancer patients, they all have a lower ph. And ph is a measurement of your basic electrical pack capacity, where 7 is ideal and anything above 7 is good. Anything below 7 is kind of bad.
That's more acidic.
Yeah, it's more acidic. So you see things like alkaline water that's way. That's above seven. And so it doesn't sound like a lot, but it's like an exponential jump from 7 point to 7.1 in electrical capacity.
Really?
Yes. Yeah. And so this is kind of flooding you back through with the good frequency. So every cell in your body has an electrical charge. And so if you look at the things like. Have you ever heard of anyone with heart cancer?
No.
Right. Because your heart is able to electrically stimulate itself and start going. So it always has the highest charge of anything in your body.
Oh, that's a good.
Isn't that crazy?
Yeah.
Yeah. So I guess when I heard that, I'm like. I even worked in cardiology, and I just. Like, I've never even thought about that before, but it's crazy. So essentially, that's what we're doing. We're just giving your body the electrical fuel it needs to get those batteries back up.
Right. And you are. Right. There you are, kid.
And indeed, he has the magic hands.
That's nice. So what is that area right there? Is that more hip or back?
So this is actually kind of where your IT band connects through. So you have your IT band that starts in a low back and goes down along the side of your leg, basically down to your kneecap.
Right.
And in this area, you can actually impinge your IT band. You can impinge your piriformis in turn. It actually will pinch your sciatic nerve. So a lot of times people think they have sciatica, when in fact they actually have, like, piriformis syndrome. And that will give you all of those sensations and then some. It's just about stretching it out.
Yeah, that feels like it has a good stretch.
So.
So for, like, people with muscles that aren't firing on their face. So actually, for. Let's go back to depression and stress. What do you guys do for that?
I'll do it all on you. We'll actually work on your temples. I'll do your pineal glands, your third eye. And it really. It helps with anxiety, depression, it helps with focus adhd, it makes you more productive at work. But if you're also super stressed out and you need to relax, it does find what your body is. You know what it needs, and it gives it to it.
Yeah. Yeah.
So one girl had told me. She's like, oh, my gosh, I don't sleep on the road. I travel all the time. I just really need to sleep the next day. She's like, I slept for 10 hours. And I'm like, you're welcome. But then she was like, but that was like. I didn't. I didn't know if I needed to sleep, sleep that long. I'm like, you Just told me you haven't slept because you've been on tour. You said that you need to sleep, and. You got it. You're welcome.
Man, I was out cold the first night after I did this.
Okay. Someone said that I have lone or eon. I'm not sure which. That one.
Oh.
Loaf or lone.
Afib.
That's atrial fibrillation.
So would this help for that? Hi.
Neither one of us are doctors. I really don't want to get into that. But just so we know what AFIB is, it's where your atrium just kind of just doesn't really have a controlled beat. So the way your heart works, your sinoatrial node, controls your pulse, basically. So it sends out that beat, and then it goes down to the ventricle, which is why you hear that boom, boom, when your heart beats. So in atrial fibrillation, the atrium just kind of goes like this. So it doesn't really have that control, B. Which is why a lot of people with that end up getting pacemakers. So that's a little too clinical. That's about as clinical as I'm gonna get right now. That's something I don't know that we want to touch on yet.
Well, yeah, we can't say one way or another. What we can say is that it does pump oxygen into your body, into your bloodline, and for therefore putting oxygen back to the heart and to the brain. So it does help. I can't say that it's gonna specifically help or cure that issue.
I guess I could add the one thing that this does do is it just kind of gets your body back to the way it's naturally designed to be, and it will help your body. Your body has a blueprint to heal itself, and the further away we get from the earth and everything, kind of the harder it gets for your body to heal itself. So this kind of realigns that and allows your body to do self healing. So take what you will from that. But that's. That's about as much as we.
So for.
And I'm curious because I've done. Have you ever heard of the company New Fit, Neu Fit, Newfit? They have something similar, I think, technology where they're using electric stimulation to engage muscles.
I mean, amazing.
Like, they'll stick little stem pads on some, say, bicep abs, whatever. You'll fight it against it with a workout like a lot of baseball players. I've seen good. I've gone in. Oh, that feels great. Never stop.
I remember seeing those guys at The Gold group conference, and I had previously done arc wave therapy, which I guess this. This new fit. Is that what it is?
Yes.
I think they're like the next evolution of that machine. They'll probably. Probably correct me on that. But it's same thing. You know, it's. It's similar to a TENS unit, but it's tuned a little bit differently. I don't know the specifics of theirs, but again, it's electrical current going through, so there's a little bit different mechanism. But, yeah, that is a. That is a phenomenal machine. Yeah, I. I rehabbed. I. I played volleyball, and I actually tore my calf.
Yeah.
A lot of the recovery that I did, again, it was like. It was a partial tear. So what we're doing. And, you know, the combination of that and dry needling, which is essentially just acupuncture needles in the trigger points.
Yeah.
Point your toes.
Yeah.
Of that point.
Yeah. Okay.
So, like that.
Yeah.
So I wonder how this would have done. I. I think. I mean, I don't want to say this would have been better, but I kind of do.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I don't know. But that's. That's a solid product as well.
Point, point, point.
Wait, like how?
Like, down towards.
Oh, like this.
That's flexing.
Okay.
There you go. So this trigger point right here actually helps release your low back hamstrings, and SI joint. So that's why you can see it's completely connected down to your feet. So when we hit it, it makes you jump. When you fight against the current by pointing the toes, it actually opens up the nerve ways more. There you go. Point, point all the way down.
Point down. Yeah, yeah.
Keep on pointing. Keep on pointing your whole ankle.
We got a cramp going.
That's exactly what it was, though. You just needed to fight it.
Yep.
There you go.
Wait, so. And then. But from a workout standpoint, do you think there's anything that gets the muscles firing to, like, the equivalent of a war count type? I'm sure people are gonna want to know.
So I actually, one of my friends as a bodybuilder, and he's been utilizing it because he has chronic pain. Like, he's like bone on bone. He. I mean, back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, you name it. And so I've actually been having him use it and kind of like, document going before his workouts and then after his workouts to see exactly how much further he can get into the movements. Yeah. And he. He even said he's like, I. Like, he used to have one arm like this and one arm like that. I worked on it for 20 minutes. Both arms went up. He hadn't been able to lift his arm up to his ear in two years. So then all of a sudden he could start working chest. Now he has more definition of his chest because you're actually able to re stimulate the muscles so they can actually work harder. So now he's gonna be able to reach his goals.
Oh, wow.
So it's pretty awesome.
Yeah.
Gee. Let's see what we got going on now here.
Yeah. But I think from a purely word workout standpoint, I know what you're saying. Like my physical therapist, he would put the patches on my quads or whatever and have them do squats. And so that would kind of retrain the muscles to do it, but it would also build the muscles.
Right.
So I don't know that this is designed to do that.
It's not designed to build the muscles. It's designed to help the healing process of it all, to help with mobility and modality strength. So that way you can actually work out properly versus trying to overcompensate for some pain and then hurt hurting yourself worse.
Exactly.
That's what most people do.
Yeah.
How's that feeling?
Great.
Someone's asking if it goes through your body to his. So he's right now touching the plate and right now my foot's on the grounding mat. So he's actually pulling the energy from me now to be able to release.
Super connected.
You feel like you guys dated for.
So you're based out of San Diego and then you're based out of Arizona.
Arizona and California now.
Yes. So there are people that are located in your area. So you said Phoenix, Scottsdale area. Right. And if they wanted to see at the. On the website it says find a facility near you. Right. Or you. How would they want to. Or how would they be able to get in touch with you if they wanted to book a session or something like that?
You can actually just contact me on. You can message me on Instagram or on Facebook. It's Kiki K. I k. I underscore Daro and I can help you either find someone in your town or, you know, I'm going to be based out of California, Arizona. Ryan's in Southern California. We have about five practitioners all over Arizona right now. We have one more. We have. I mean, we have 25 machines out. So we do have quite a few states across the country.
Hey, I have to tell you this. This feels incredible. Really does.
You're Gonna feel so happy.
Yeah.
Okay.
Oh, yeah. What's that?
And sleep like a baby tonight.
Perfect. He helps. So why is the shoes at all? Our hip a little bit back. So I just look up more guys.
Like on my lower back.
You're just doing on your thigh, actually. Let's do it on that one here. Don't get crooked. So a lot of hip issues. And we're just going to use these example hip tightness and a lot of low back tightness actually comes from psoas issue where you're not properly engaging your psoas or you're not properly engaging your abs because your psoas is taking over. A lot of people don't know that. So, like, oh, I have really tight hips. Actually just have a really weak psoas. So this is really cool because it shows you how your body's connected all the way through. Because your psoas starts up here, and then you have iliopsoas and it goes essentially through your hip, but when it connects, your entire leg jumps.
Wow. Yeah.
As.
So as a. Keep your. Oh, I'm ready. Yeah.
Okay. Are you ready?
Oh, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah. So this is an awkward one to access. When I was first learning this, I'm like, yeah, it's great. So maybe we need to clearly know because we can't this angle. Her hands are not down his pants.
Well, look at his quad. His psoas is firing because you can actually see his entire quad move. So that's a really healthy psoas. Are you okay?
No, it feels great. I've always wondered, because you hear a lot about the psoas and how much it controls, and I try to stretch it out a little bit before and after I work out. As far as like, doing, you know, stretching out the hip flexor, getting that before and after working out. Just because opening up hips is really controls so much.
Absolutely.
But, yeah, that's. It's good. It's good to know that little bit.
Okay, let's actually. I'm going to switch sides real quick.
Any questions over there?
No, not so far.
No.
I've been shouting them out as they come. I'm going to push them to the other side real quick. Yeah. Some of you actually, like, incorrectly stretch for psoas or their hips, and we see a lot of, like, hyperextension in the low spine, and they think that that's going to open up their hips, like in a lunge position, when in fact, if you do kind of like a. Like a lunge stretch, that's what I. You actually want to tuck the pelvis under instead of hyperextending, and it instantly releases a psoas. But most people think that when they're in that position, they all do this.
I try to, like, just try to pull right down to the middle. Yeah. All right.
I always get worried I'm gonna, like, be a little shocked, especially in this place.
When I had a. When I had my catheter in after my accident, the nurses would. To pull it out. They would, like, go, all right, I'm count to three. And I'm like. They yank it after two. And so it's all mental, you know, I'm like. But, like, you know, I was waiting for three, then they yanked it after two, so. So a lot of these things are all mental and kind of scare us over 100%.
I've actually had people have that, and it was my fault for not probably asking about any trauma that they've had, because you don't really realize, like, the trauma that someone holds from an accident or a surgery. And one girl, she actually had a little bit panic moment because she had been in a terrible car accident, literally was hanging outside beside a bus, so. So they had to sew her back together. And she's from, like, Croatia, so they didn't have, like, the best doctors. So just a little bit of ticcing made her think about every single shot she ever had during that time. And so we actually ended up just doing meditation with the machine instead, and it completely relaxed her and was able. Helped open up her hips and everything. But it was just kind of crazy. You just never really know, like, trauma that people hold.
Wow.
Hey, Kiki, on that note, do you want to talk about the emotional release a little bit?
What's up?
Emotional release?
Yeah, go for it.
Why don't you do it?
Well, okay. So kind of what we were just saying with this. This girl. You know, a lot of emotions are stored in certain places in our body, so sometimes when this happens, like, it'll release that, and you'll just, like, maybe it'll be part of a dream you'll have tonight or something, or people start crying, and that's fairly common with this treatment. So it's just kind of crazy. And for us to just be ready to expect that too.
Yeah. I definitely had a lot of people hold onto their emotions, and they don't want people to know that there is weakness in them, and it's okay to be weak. People don't need to understand that. But I had a girlfriend who had gone through A really bad breakup broke off. Her engagement, changed jobs, just moved, you name it. And she was working with one of the male practitioners and she just didn't feel comfortable. And as soon as I worked on her instead, and we were all in the same room, she completely relaxed. And then she went outside. She was like, can you come here for a second? And she just started bawling her eyes out. And I was like, are you okay? I'm so sorry. She goes, I'm fine, I'm fine. I just. I don't know why I'm crying. I go, because you just released two years of bullshit. Like, you literally just let it go. She texted me four hours later, said she went home, took a three hour nap and she felt like a completely new person and couldn't wait for the next session because we basically undid all of that, like, stress and trauma. It's pretty incredible.
Yeah, it's like, you know, well, not quite the same, but when you go in, I do like niacin sauna treatments and I'll do like 4 or 500 milligrams or something like that. And then you're really kind of freeing up a lot of toxins that are kind of tied up and bubbling up. And so that's why it's important to follow up with like, good activated character to absorb a lot of those toxins. But kind of, you know, it's go through a big time. You unlock a lot of those. You go through a little bit of a detox.
Yeah.
Headache. There's symptoms of that. So, yeah, a lot of these things were freeing up and assisting like, with movement in certain areas. You're also getting a lot. Potentially getting lots of. Oh, yeah. Mental and physical toxins and trauma.
Yeah. Because guys tend to hold it more in their hips than their low back, whereas women hold it a lot better chest, really. And their hips. Because it's like our two areas to protect. So when you're able to have them lay on their back and just kind of work on like around the pectoral muscles a little bit and their shoulders, it's like a whole new world has been open to them and they just don't realize it because, like, so many of us are so locked because we're protecting our heart, but we don't realize that's what we're really doing. But it is protecting our heart. I call it like. And I told Ryan, I'm like, I don't know if it's because I'm so smaller, but a lot of times if someone's really sick or really injured. I will get nauseous. Like, I'll see certain parts of my body will start to, like, jumble and treating them, I'm like, oh, look at that. Look my biceps moving. Then afterwards I'll get nauseous and I call it getting green mild. I feel like I just like, basically absorb their illness. And then I just meditate with the machine and I cleanse it out of myself. Wow. I never thought in a million years I would ever talk about energy work. If anyone had ever told me that I'd be working with energy. Like, you're full of it, but it's really incredible stuff. And you really don't realize, like, how much it really is all connected.
I mean, what it feels like, guys, it's like a massage with the current going through that lightly. But I mean, it's there, you know, so imagine just like a deep tissue massage with that current, you know, getting past, really working to heal it. God. Were you. Did you have a, like a massage background?
No, my background is specifically in Pilates rehabilitation. And I did education with different surgeons and chiropractors and PTs and just took all the courses that I needed to for, like the potty itself when it came to exercise. So then when the developer of this machine, Simon Billingham, we were really, really good friends. He was my holistic chiropractor. We would share clients together. He'd be like, hey, I just. I'm working on this guy, but can you help stabilize his muscles? Because he needs to strengthen. So one day I was like, hey, why don't you just teach me how to do it? I mean, I know the body well enough and you've used it on me and it just kind of worked.
Yeah, that's feels like you have a masseuse background.
I just had every injury you could.
Really? Also, like, with self massage, you kind.
Of learn and also just from like having injuries and like paying attention, it's like, there's nothing more frustrating when you're injured. Sorry, sorry about that. Didn't happen. There's nothing more. Keep me on my toes, you know, injuries. And then you go to somebody and they're like, oh, yeah, do this, this and this. And you're like, yeah, no, I've been doing that. I'm still injured. Like, so that's why I got into what I got into. My background was actually in advertising and PR and marketing, and I did Pilates as my. As my stress reliever. And then I was like, screw it. It makes me happy. So this is what I'M gonna do. And it was the only thing that made me feel better. And so I got this. And then I was like, wait, now, like, the pain actually stays away because it regenerated all my muscles again and my nerves. Whereas, you know, before, it's like, you know, you're fit. Like, you go work out, doesn't mean that you're not in pain, but sometimes you just work through it. Now you have the ability to. To work harder because you're not in pain, man.
That's. That's exactly where I'm at right now. See if the right side fires. Well, there we go. So you want me to fight against that kind?
I'll tell you. Okay, now I do relax.
What are you doing?
Good. This is so interesting. So cool.
So now, Ryan, how'd you get into this?
So it's kind of a funny story, actually. So Kiki and I have been friends for 10 plus years, and then I moved away to California about two years ago.
But.
But I kind of. I'd always really been into health and wellness and the natural side of things. So I'd been going to my naturopath for a good 10, 12 years, actually kind of worked with him in his supplement manufacturing lab. So I knew a lot about that side of things. But I really, you know, I followed Dave Asprey. I started doing the bulletproof coffee maybe five or six years ago. And then I really just started listening to his podcast, hearing all these things. I'm like, I love what he's doing. He's just exploring all these other. The things that you don't find out about from your doctor or whatever. So I really came at this through the biohacking community and methods. And then I just saw Kiki posting this. I'm like, oh, that's pemf or pemf. I always say it wrong. I need to ask her about this because I was actually looking at a couple different devices, and this one being guided is completely different than anything else I was looking at. So she just brought it out and it's tried it on me and I said, I gotta get this in front of these people. I mean, they're gonna love it. They're gonna eat it up. It's just. It's an incredible device, but again, strange too. Like, I have a biomedical engineering degree, so I'm very science oriented. So a lot of this stuff.
Merritt Vigner.
I left my glasses at home.
But. Where'd you go to school?
Arizona State.
A state.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So anyway, it was hard for me to Accept a lot of these things, like energy medicine and all that, but the more I dig into them, quantum physics is kind of my next thing I'd like to tackle. It just explains so much that we just. It's mind blowing, some of the concepts that go over there. And that's kind of the basis of energy medicine. And this is kind of the gold standard treatment in energy medicine right now. So kind of the completely roundabout way, we. We reconnected on this, so.
Yeah. Yeah.
And I do have some injuries from sports and everything, too. And then this is.
You said volleyball?
Volleyball mainly, yeah.
Okay. Are you from Arizona? Did you go to high school out there?
I did. I went to Chaparral High School.
Chaparral. Great baseball.
Great baseball program. Paul Canarico is our. Kind of Our big name.
That's right. Yeah. Hall of Famer.
He better be.
He better be. Yeah. He was World Series mvp. He was a senior when I was a freshman.
No way.
Yeah.
I remember you immediately. We're like this kid's. I mean, even the coach said, I've never coached anyone this good in my life. It's amazing.
Yeah. He came up as a top prospect with the Dodgers.
Yeah.
I don't know. I don't know why he was there. I mean, the White Sox obviously held on.
Right, right, right.
So I think. Didn't he go somewhere else after the White Sox, too, or. I mean, I'm sorry. From the Dodgers to the White Sox.
I think he went somewhere else.
Oh, perfect. I'm not sure, but I just know the Dodgers. I mean, I don't know who they traded him away for. Yeah, but, man.
Yeah, because I think he. I think they had him first base initially or something, and then they moved, and then they just decided, you're way too good at the hit or we don't want to ruin your ds. So they put in a DH for a while. For most of his career, wasn't it?
Yeah. First Dh. Yeah, first Dh. Okay. I'm not doing that.
That one works.
I'm 100% not doing that. Yes. That's a trip. Wow. So the fact that it's firing like that, it means my. It means that it's healthy.
It means that it's healthy to work on the actual source of the problem, which is where in your elbow you normally feel it.
Well, I mean, there's a little bit of, like, on the inside right here. Yeah. Yeah. I would say the best states for baseball. California, Texas, Florida, Arizona.
I was gonna guess those four.
Yeah. Yeah.
Spring training, just.
Oh, yeah. My favorite Thing in the world.
Spring training is right. The Giants games in Scottsdale are a lot of fun.
Oh, they're insane. It's like the first year I haven't gone. Yeah.
Open up your finger.
As a kid we didn't have a Diamondback.
Does it hurt? Come on.
There's no way I can't get that open.
Come on. You can do it. You can do it. You can do it. You can do it. Okay. Aw.
You let go.
Wow.
That's amazing.
So this 5 foot 1, 90 pound girl is overpowering you.
I'm not gonna lie. I kind of enjoy it sometimes.
Very humbling. Wow. Yeah.
We grew up without the Diamondbacks, so they didn't come in until I was in high school.
Right.
And so I just grew up.
Okay. Yeah.
Like that whole. Remember the Subway Series?
Oh, yeah.
Will Clark and Kevin Mitchell.
Oh man, that was a great team. Yeah. The shoot. What are they battle. What is it?
Bait.
I have a poster of it. Oh, okay. Okay.
Beat. Was it bending X? I think.
Okay. Yeah. I mean now they're those back with like a Canseco and Maguire.
The Bash Brothers.
Bash Brothers.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Y. Did they even play against each other in the World Series? Was that. Was that 80. Was that 89? 89.
I don't know if they were all in those on the team. I think Giants were like, you know, Clark and Mitchell and. And all those guys. I still remember these the a. Cuz I was a Giants fan. That's what.
Right. Yeah. I. I grew up a Giants fan too. Palo Alto.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So Petaluma originally is my parents always the cancer park and all that. So.
Come on. You can do it. You can do it. Come on. Breathe. Breathing helps. Yeah. That mind body control.
I promise you I'm doing everything.
Your face is like red. You have to breathe. Think of like kill Bill. Move your big toe.
I'm telling you. Wow. So what does that mean? That I can't fire off that ring.
And it has something to do right here with what you have going on in your elbows. So that's why by fighting against it, I mean see how much more your fingers are moving now just by touching here versus your actual forearm. So we're just regenerating that area to.
Help you have more control.
Now it's making your whole arm jump versus just. Wow. Kind of cool, right?
Yeah, that is. Yeah. Just directly related to the tendons that are a little inflamed.
And you will the trauma within the area because so. Yeah. So in turn starts affecting everything else.
Whoa. All Right.
Let's see how that feels. Oh, that pops.
Oh. Ah. Feels great, man. It's unreal.
Now I'm gonna get back to your head, and we're gonna work on your jawline. We're gonna do your third eye.
Oh, perfect.
And then we can actually touch the incision itself.
I'm excited for this one.
You're the worst at relaxing your neck, by the way.
Yeah, I'm always.
Always tense. I'm like, lay down your head. Lay down your head. Relax your neck. Oh, you wonder why your neck hurts.
Yeah.
So along your neck here is the vagus nerve. So obviously you work that area, and I'm sure you've heard of it.
Yes.
Vagus nerve helps put you in a parasympathetic state, which is a state of relaxation and happiness. So for anxiety and depression, you were on that vagus nerve. You work on those temples, you work on that third eye. You have a really relaxed person.
So, like in.
Do you do yoga? I don't. I really want to.
So the whole, like, the breathing techniques, they do all that, Even the. The Wim Hof breathing technique, it's all designed to kind of just get that vagus nerve stimulated.
Oh, man. So that's it right there, the vagus nerve. Okay. And that feels incredible.
Yeah, right? It's like, now he's relaxed. Yeah.
He would fall asleep right here.
And then right here at the occipital joint, where you tend to hold a lot of stress, right?
Yes. So what I'll do sometimes is, like, you know those little handheld massagers? It's right over there. It's a rapid release. Rapid release is what it's called, is the brand. And then I'll get back in there, like, right where you are. Just because I feel it's. It's really tender back there. But I didn't know that that's where the vagus nerve is.
Nerve here and then the occipital. So you go ahead and just relax your head on my fingers, basically. So that's where we hold so much of our tension and strain.
I feel that, like. Yeah. Releasing.
So it'll, like, continue just to relax and relax and relax. If anyone's ever had, like, cranial sacral work done, it's kind of the areas.
That they work on. Yeah, yeah.
But now you're doing it with electric current, so it actually releases and heals at a faster rate.
So what do you think about the cranial release? I went in there for a couple sessions, and, you know, they get back in there and they Dig into your, like, back near your molars and stuff. And they're supposed to be a lot of tension held up, pent up tension and stress held in that area. What do you think about. Have you ever had that? Oh, yeah.
Here it is. Okay, we're back.
Cool.
We're back.
So I'm gonna work along your jawline. And so anyone that grinds has tmj.
Oh, wow.
This releases it. What a lot of people don't realize is that if they do clench or grind their teeth, that is why their neck is jacked. So a lot of times with someone that has a really bad neck, I can touch their jaw and I can release their neck that way.
This is the most surreal feeling because I haven't felt that side on her face.
That's great.
Wow.
And I don't know if it's up picking.
Picking up on the.
On the phone, but I can see your facial mushrooms are kind of moving around a little bit too there.
And I grind so much. Like, this is so needed.
I've actually worked on some friends that have, like, Bell's palsy to help try to regenerate even out the two sides of their face.
How did that go?
Really well.
Really, really well.
Yeah, because she was starting to kind of, you know, kind of was like drooping on her left side.
Wow.
And it doesn't anymore. Yeah.
I know a couple of people. Bell's palsy cat feels incredible.
Just keep trying to talk right now because you're not gonna be able to. Yeah.
I mean, should I fight against it?
Unless you're pop. Unless you have a jaw that pops. I don't usually you can just relax.
And then that's more of the stress areas of the temple. That is pretty profound right there. Jeez. Because it already feels good to massage your temples as it is and get a massage with someone else. But then with that current, while you're really getting into in there.
Your eyebrows are jumping on your left side.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Huh. I wonder why I only have my left right side.
Well, your right side is now too, but your right side's overcompensating for your left because it hasn't had that feeling.
Mom. God. That's insane. You guys gotta try this. I tried so many different little gadgets. This is something.
It's a game changer.
It is a game changer because you.
Get the healing aspect of it, but you also get the relief of, like, the pain relief aspect. The mind relaxation aspect. It's just. It just encompasses so much because it is our body's natural way of healing. We're just basically taking our bodies and treating them just like the batteries that they are and just making even better. It's like a tuna.
Jeez.
Okay, so I'm going to go on your towel. So is it right through here?
Yeah, it's.
I don't want to do too much, cuz it's.
No, please do get in there. Yeah. Yep. Wow. That's exactly where the. Where it was shattered.
So. Because, you know, it is for bone fractures as well. It helps strengthen the bone density. So if you have shattered bones, this helps strengthen them.
You want me to like, point your finger where?
Yeah.
Okay. So feel this right here?
Yeah.
Like, that's part of where the bone. It's one. It was like a.
Feels crazy.
Yeah. You feel that?
Yeah.
Oh, I can kind of see the skull scar now.
I kind of like it now. I didn't like it back in the day. Now I can. They actually. When I went up to get that PRP and they asked, like, if I wanted to get the scar out, I'm like. I kind of like the scar. I'm serious.
Yeah, it's fun. I got. I mean, this. And this is a funny injury for me, so I don't mean to make light of anything, but, like, I've got kind of a scar on the bottom of my chin, too. When I was a kid, I was jumping on my parents bed and I slipped and hit my chin on the glass table.
No more monkeys jumping on the bed.
I know, right? I mean, I thought it was cool at the time because I think I was 6 or 7. And the stitches I got kind of made it look like I had a goatee.
Oh, yeah? Yep.
But it's definitely still there. It stands out in my beard, so.
Oh, yeah, I see that. Yep. Yeah.
So that's from jumping on the bed.
This is. See mine right here? That's from sliding in second base. And then boom. I just crushed my shin on the dirt. But, oh, man, that feels incredible. I can't even tell you how much that area is responding to that.
So when Andy shocked me a minute ago, was that. Is that how it feels? No. Okay. I was like, that hurts. That's just because you weren't crying.
Grounded. Yeah.
Like how? Yeah. Oh, okay. That makes sense. Yeah. Because then for him, it's going into the. Yeah. So he's pulling the energy from me right now because he has his body on the plate and my foot is on the grounding mat. Yeah. I'm so tempted to just put my hands on Your, like, look lips and see how I had feeling in them, But I've never done that before, so I don't know. I mean, I'd love it to try.
Yeah, sure.
Okay. I won't do too much, though. Let's see what we can do here. Tell me if it's, like, too powerful. Okay. How's that feel?
I don't really feel it yet.
Maybe I should, like, a number of hands for this one.
Like, maybe I should have you talk when I'm doing it. I'm gonna do that one. Okay.
You know, good thumbs down for bad.
Yeah, yeah. No. How about now?
I found a few areas where I just don't get a response at all.
How about now? Okay, so you guys know, like, my fingers are cramping because he has no sensation there. So it's shooting back into me right now, which is totally fine because I'm determined to make him feel his lips again. Natty. Phillip, Are you serious? That's crazy. Okay, hold on. Nothing.
Have you tried lips on anyone yet?
No, he's a burst.
Okay.
Because I usually work with neuropathy patients, and it's usually the oncology patients, but they have no sensation in their toes or their fingers, whereas they do get the sensation back.
Got it. Okay.
So why not try the lips, right?
Sure.
And this may be one of those areas that, like, needs to be worked on a couple more times to regenerate it. But, like, it'd be really freaking cool if you could start feeling yourself putting on chapstick.
Yeah.
Don't talk.
I feel it in my teeth. How's that feeling? My teeth?
Like a toothpick a little bit. It'll continue to work for 48 hours, so we'll actually see. We'll, like, follow up with you, and then, like, once you get back and Brian can work on you again. We'll see. We'll just keep on kind of testing it out.
Yeah. Because that area kind of droops a little bit because I just lost, you know, a lot of sensation, nerves and stuff. So it'd be great. It'd really make me super happy.
Your jaw's really reacting to it really well.
Oh, yeah.
Okay, you ready for third eye?
Yes.
There's multiple ways of doing it, but we're gonna do the laying down version. Okay. So it can be kind of powerful at first. Do it. We're gonna almost do, like, meditation with it.
Okay.
So we're gonna think about it literally starting from the top of your head all the way down through your toes to where, like, the Energy is just gonna flow all the way through your body to keep your body in sync. Let me know when you feel it.
A little bit. Yeah. Oh, there we go.
So breathe it in, exhale it out, and think about that just, like, blanket of energy starting from the top of your head. As you exhale out this time, think about it going down along through the jawline, through your scar. Breathe it in through your nose. And when you exhale the next time, I want you to think about it all through your lips. I want you to think about each nerve trying to wake up in those lips. And when you exhale the next time, I want you to think about it going through your neck into your traps and shoulders. Deep breath in. And as you exhale, I want you to think about going down through those elbows to where you have the injury on the left side, through your forearms and fingertips. Breathe it in and think about it going down through your low back and through your hips where you have all that tightness. Breathe it in. And as you exhale, think about going down through the legs, through the knees, through the calves and shins. And on this next one, as you exhale, think about it going all the way through your feet and through your toes to where your body's now just full of positive white light. One more deep breath in. One more deep exhale out. How do you feel?
Good. That was. That's really good.
It's crazy, right?
Yeah.
Everyone usually has the same reaction afterwards. They're just like, whoa.
I don't want to move.
Yeah, you don't have to. It's your place again.
I'm just gonna lay here for the next hour or so.
Oh, man, that's. That's insane.
So you can see how, like, I gave you more of, like, the relaxation, meditation, third eye. Whereas if someone's really super tired or they're having the inability to, like, focus at work or something, you do like, a shorter, like, you know, up to, like, maybe 10, 12 seconds. The longer you do it, I feel like it really puts your mind, body, and soul connection in place. And it just kind of puts you in that, like, parasympathetic state to where you can just kind of go about your day. A lot of people, like, I tell them, I'm like, look, it does feel like you're stoned. You will feel super relaxed and chill and happy. You will not have the munchies. But, you know, it just gives you that, like, totally, like, euphoric kind of feeling throughout the day.
That's 100% what I feel. Right now. Serious. Without the munchies, without.
This is huge.
No, but really, that. That feels very relaxed, man. Where do I start? Lower back for sure. Just very loose. Probably just stand up, right?
You're up, right?
Yeah, Just kind of see.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's, like, a lot more loose. I just feel. I mean, I can't. I mean, aside from how relaxed I was right there, I feel like I could definitely. It's, like, a very good way to loosen up before, say, going for a run, say, workout like your bodybuilder friend did. I could see that. But, man. And then, wait, you know how you loosen up my hips? It's like, I'm ready to go.
Your next workout.
No, and it's happening. Oh, man.
The first one, I got a couple shoulder problems still, just from volleyball. And the first time she did it on me, I went to the gym. I was doing, you know, overhead stuff.
Wow.
My range is better. Just there's no pain in my neck. It's great.
Wow.
And that was a solid day later.
Yeah.
And so you said it continues to work for 48 hours.
48 hours. And then you start to drink a lot of water, and you'll start to feel. It's like people that are really, really tight. Like, it's the equivalent of three deep tissue massages. So, yes, sometimes you are sore. That is what happens with our bodies. We are releasing a ton of stuff. So sometimes you go sore the next day, but then it literally is all gone within that second day afterwards. So you just drink a lot of water, keep some electrolytes in your body. It helps you keep charged a little bit longer. And then, like, the next time it, like, you'll see where your body's gonna jump even more than it did today, because that's how much more awake you are. And so then you're like, wow, man. Like, I feel even better now. And the next time you're like, I feel even better now. And then you're gonna be like, man, I haven't had any pain in my elbows since that second session. And that's. Those are the results that we hear. Like, all of a sudden, those chronic pain injuries just go away.
And in all honesty, that, like, there's nothing in my left elbow right now that's honestly not true. And before, it was just kind of like, you know, you said it perfectly. It's like you fight through it, you know, just kind of just go about it and power through it, but that's not there anymore. That's really exciting. Shoulder, same deal. This is the truth, this is just feedback, but the main thing is just the mind, like, how relaxed I am right now. That's unbelievable.
God, I felt good.
Get one of these or get. I mean, cadet was.
So. Yeah, Ryan's out here. He's in San Diego. I'm working between Arizona and all over California. I'll be back out in two weeks. So if anybody wants to try it out, hit us up, message us on Instagram or Facebook or contact Andy, and we'll be more than happy to take care of you guys.
And you're coming back here next week, right?
He's way better than me at this. I'm still practicing. I'm not gonna hurt anyone, but may not get quite the amazing results. You get it yet, so. But eventually.
Yeah. And then you're.
You're moving out here, so you're gonna be like, we can.
Yeah, yeah. So it'll be more of a. Like, a mobile wellness practice, and then I'll also have, like, a studio at night place.
All right, well, yeah, thank you guys so much. Thanks so much for driving. Of course.
Absolutely.
Really nice to meet you, too. Thank you so much. All right, guys. Well, there you have it. If you have any questions, contact myself or Ryan or Kiki. And that was. Man, that was very effective. I've tried, you know, a lot of different things. Thousands of massages that crushed any massage I've ever had. Yeah. Because a lot of time, if you get in there, there's pain afterwards, and you're kind of like, you know, hoping that it'll loosen up some things and loosen up a lot of information, and.
Then you kind of deal with that pain.
There's no pain right now. You know, I feel great.
That's the cool thing is when we work on. When we work on our clients, you know, I know because of my shoulder injuries, like, you know, you're getting massage and there's, like, that one knot, and they're just, like, rubbing on it and rubbing on it. You're like, seriously, can you get through that already? And it just doesn't go away. And it almost feels like it's tensing you more, like, more because, like, you're stressed out. The fact that it's not going away with this because it gets so deep into the different levels of the tissues. For me, I always say it's kind of like, you know, when you're a kid and you pop, like, button wrap, like, and it's just, like, almost addicting. Like, I can literally feel the fascia break up in my fingertips when someone has those knots. So instead of me rolling around on a knot, I can just put my finger on it and have you do some modality work. And the next thing I know, I can push through, and I hear and I can feel it actually, like, break through in a fraction of the time.
Wow.
Yeah. It's so cool you didn't have any.
Of that, so I wonder what that is. Maybe just.
But it could also be something that we know it. But it could be something where, like, now that we took out inflammation, maybe we feel that next time, but then we can blast through it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, guys. Well, there you have it. Hope you got something out of this, and check them out. Hit us up if you have any questions. Cool.
