Short monologue describing the speaker's use of fresh aloe vera in a morning tonic/smoothie, preferring fresh inner gel over shelf products due to live polysaccharides and fewer preservatives; includes brief practical notes on sourcing, preparation, and storage.
Hey, guys. So I know many have heard me talk about aloe vera. This unfortunately, isn't the one that I picked from my backyard because those are not growing in as green and as lush as I thought. So it's back to whole foods. So I just cut out. See that clear inner part? I just cut it out and drop it in the morning tonic. And, you know, I'm gonna cut out the whole one today. Usually I'll just do half, but, you know, these are. I think they're like 1.99 a pound. And that definitely doesn't weigh a pound. So talking under a dollar to get fresh aloe, and. Which is much more effective. And you're getting those live polysaccharides. Whereas something on the shelf. Oops. Has, you know, loaded with citric acid and other preservatives to keep it from going bad, as aloe vera does pretty quickly. So shrivels up. So all that right there, I'm going to use either today or tomorrow. I'll keep those in a little plastic container just to shave with. I mean, aloe is just head to toe, one of the best things you can put in your body. There you go.
