A short conversational transcript from a YouTube video (Andy Hnilo and Ali Torres) about personal growth through adversity. Speakers discuss the 'law of polarity' β that hardship (valleys) enables appreciation of success (peaks) β and describe how a past accident led Andy to focus on skincare and find purpose.
I go through it all over again, you know, just to feel this way. I mean, it's. It's all part, you know, of. Of our journey.
If it wasn't for the valleys, we probably wouldn't appreciate the peaks as much. We take it for granted. So we. Everything has a polar opposite. It's a universal law. It's the law of polarity. Up, down, left, right, black, white. Whatever is negative is. There's also a positive to it. It's just that so many people get so fixated on all the negative, they're missing all the positive. Right? So you gave the example of, like, you getting into the accident, and now you're experimenting with different clay masks and you're figuring out how to fix your appearance and focus on health. And then you're thinking, I wonder what I'm gonna do for the rest of my life. And it's like right there in front of you, right? It's like that your pain turned into your promise and your purpose. And it's like light bulb moment. And this is what you do now. Like, you're known as the skincare guy, Ali Torres.
