India Arie introduces an Alitura Naturals skincare haul in a short YouTube testimonial. She explains her long-term skin-healing journey (linked to gut health since 2012), cites Dave Asprey and his podcast Bulletproof Radio as the referral source, and recounts that Andy Nilo (creator of Alitura products) developed the line after a skin injury. She lists the items received—Gold Serum (called the main product), clay mask, night cream, body lotion, and a fragrance—and expresses cautious optimism about trying them and reporting results.
Look what I got. Look what I got. Look what I got. Alatura Naturals. It's a natural skincare line. Those of you who've been following my story, you know I've been working on my skin for a long time. I follow a podcast called Bulletproof Radio by Dave Asprey, who is the creator of Bulletproof Coffee, and he's just brilliant. I've learned so much in the last two weeks listening to Bulletproof Radio, and he says he uses these products on his face every day. So. So I sent a message to Andy Nilo. I hope I'm saying that right. Andy is the creator of these products. Apparently, he was an actor or model. Forgive me, Andy, for not knowing exactly. And he got in a car accident and injured his skin. I might be getting that wrong, but that's the story. I know. And he created these products to heal himself, and I'm all about that. So back in 2012, I started going through some health issues that actually were centered in my gut, and it affected my skin. And so I've still been healing from that for a long time. And I reached out to Andy because Dave Asprey said so. This is the main product that Dave says he uses every day, the gold Serum. So Andy sent me two of those. It looks like Andy sent me a clay mask, a night cream, a body lotion, and the fragrance, which I'm totally into. I love fragrances, and so I'm excited. So anybody out there? There's a hashtag called Skin warriors of people who are working on healing their skin. I am a skin warrior. Most of all. Most of all, I'm a person who believes that we heal ourselves. Not by ourselves, but we heal ourselves. And so I'm excited to try these products. Thank you, Andy. And the last thing that I want to say about this is I'm excited because the box smells good, but it doesn't smell perfumey. Fragrance has been a big issue with me and my skin, and this might be right. So I just want to say. I just want to say if this really works for me, you all will be hearing about it, because I'm about to go ahead and try everything. Thank you, Andy. Thank you, Dave. Thank you, Bulletproof Radio.
