Andy Hnilo (speaker) discusses men's skincare with emphasis on Alitura (a natural/organic brand). He recounts demonstrating products at spring training to athletes, contrasts Alitura's natural/body-lotion approach with "heavily synthetic and toxic" products, and argues that looking and feeling one's best improves energy, confidence, and professional/personal outcomes. The clip centers on male acceptance of skincare and how peer demonstration helped normalize interest among athletes.
Specifically more interested in caring about. Well, so with men, it's. It's interesting because that's. We. We test. Well, we. We demo products and we test out and just show the difference between using, say, like a heavily synthetic and toxic product versus our body lotion. We go out to spring training. A lot of these athletes and baseball players are, you know, they have a lot of companies trying to sell them on supplements, clothes, things like that. And so to have a someone like myself go in there and kind of just explain the benefits of proper skin care, you're seeing these big athletes that are. It's important to them to look and feel their best. And when you look and feel good, you exude the best energy, not only in personal, professional situations, but if they're going to be on camera and they want to, you know, they're an athlete, they want to be, you know, they could be shown in front of the world or at least the country. They want to. They want to look their best, and so they want to do it the right way. And you explain just the. The ingredients and what separates Alatura from other brands, and then they try it out and you start to see. It was very interesting to me that people that you would never think would be so into this were just hovering around our booth. And it's something that a lot of guys, and myself being one of them, it was something that. It's almost like you just needed someone to kind of go, yo, yeah, yeah, I'm into skincare, too. And they're like, oh, yeah, you too? And so it's kind of like snowballed after that, if that makes sense. It's just. I think a lot of guys are more into it than they like to admit. And that's. That's my. Which is completely fine. I mean, I'm one of them. Well, I mean, I'm completely happy you admitted now, but at the time, I was kind of just shying away and hiding from admitting how into it and just kick. Here I was, I mean, not only from an acting and modeling standpoint, but also from a recovery standpoint. I just like looking and feeling my best. And it generates the best energy that you can to every situation that you come across in life. And if you, you know, you do that and people, you know around you feel that way and you're making other people around you feel better. And just by your presence, that's. That's like how I want to, you know, evolve. I mean, things. Things evolve in a better place and a better situation from that. I mean, it's just you're gonna. You're gonna be your best self. Whether it's marketing, whether you're a business professional making a presentation, whether you're going out on a date, whether you're around your family. I just really, you know, I just really feel like feeling your best. You're going to exude your best energy and create a better world around you. So it's, it's. I think it's more important than it gets. It gets shown because so many people really do care. Yeah. I think one of the most interesting points you stated is how.
