Let's talk about cozy spaces. Have you ever felt that there are uninvited guests that overstay their welcome? I think all of us have, and we just don't like to admit it. Our thoughts can be that way, can be intrusive. They can be uninvited guests in our mind that overstay their welcome and don't know when to leave. So they stick around for a long time. They're stuck now. They've been living here for months. 'What do I do?' That's intrusive thoughts. That's what intrusive thoughts feel like. What are they really saying? They're saying you don't have mental boundaries. Just like an uninvited guest who tends to overstay their welcome and wants to be in your space and you just don't know how to let them go. It's the same with thoughts. Intrusive thoughts, they can stay and linger and we entertain them like uninvited guests. We keep feeding them, we keep hosting them, and we don't want to tell them, don't let the door hit you, where the good Lord split ya. So what happens? What are some of the side effects of these intrusive thoughts? Emotional Disregulation, mental dysfunction leading to mental illness. How do you get a cold? Starts with a little bug and it grows, and then you're ill mentally. How do you get ill? Those thoughts, you don't nip them. Beginning, and they're uninvited. And it leads to a host of other emotional and mental frustration, which leads to illness. That's what mental illness is— accumulation of all of these things that weigh like darkness in our mind, right? So what do we do? We learn how to put boundaries up. We learn to— and this is what I do with my clients, my one-on-ones especially— intimately go deep to cognitive restructuring, learning how to reframe, learning how to add consistency. What I do is I create account ability for you. And most of you— it's going to ruffle some feathers out there— you want to do everything yourself. I love you enough to tell you the truth. You ever had a friend like that? Maybe not. I'm that friend. You get stuck in this anywhere— I can do this myself— who's going to be accountable to you? Are you really accountable to yourself? We all need an account— anymore. When it comes to getting back into mental health, accountability is needed. I've seen it before with clients who've decided they don't want to work with me anymore. They're right back, if not worse, than where they started mentally and emotionally because they didn't add the consistency in their life, the cognitive reframing consistency. Cognitive behavioral therapy helps with that. It's something that I work with my clients in my one-on-one as well as in my Healing Membership. Intrusive thoughts need an accountability partner. They need somebody to say, that's enough. And that person needs to be you. It impacts our brain so much. It wears our brain down. What happens neurologically is when we have intrusive thoughts from a subconscious. Most of us that carry unresolved trauma will carry these subconscious thoughts that they've accumulated their life. Everybody else's judgment, thoughts, shoulds and shouldn'ts, well-meaning, even in our spiritual community, there's so much unsolicited advice that's not even scriptural or principled, right? So how do you see the forest from the trees while you learn to strengthen your mind, you can combat, create evidence for these intrusive thoughts, because that's really where it comes from. We all get it. I get intrusive thoughts. I had an intrusive thought this morning trying to make me feel guilty for staying up till 1:30 in the morning watching a Korean drama, saying, "You're too old for this. You have a life to live, Mal." I I can do what I want to do when I want to do it because I can plan my day however I want to. We all get intrusive thoughts. We just have to learn how to build boundaries to help them get out and stay out. Close the door because our environment is important to us. Just like our home is a haven, We need to make our mind a mental haven. That means building mental boundaries, learning how to identify and reframe these negative thought patterns. Because what happens is intrusive thoughts pave away in your brain. Everybody else's judgment, thoughts, feelings on you become your own because you've taken them on like uninvited guests. In your home. Neurologically, that's your path. You have to reframe that, replace them with healthy alternatives.
Need support?
My Healing Membership is my first recommendation. In there, you will find everything you need to give you the support and encouragement you need. It's a small investment. We always have something for the things we need. For those of you in unresolved trauma. We put everybody else ahead of ourselves more. Even Jesus himself took time to take care of himself. So that's one option. The second option, work with me one-on-one. I have an application for you at this point because either you know you want to work with me or you don't, and that's okay if you don't. If you know my vibe, what you need, I have an application for you so that you can lock in to one-on-one coaching with me. It tells you everything that you need.

All right, all's bottom line: intrusive thoughts are uninvited guests that overstay their welcome in your brain. You have the capacity to build boundaries so that they stay out. Cognitive behavior behavioral therapy and aromapsychology, using essential oils to help accelerate the release of these intrusive thoughts and memories out of your brain so you can reframe your thinking and create a healthier alternative in your life. We all have the mental and emotional capacity to say no more. I'm not taking this anymore. So that being said, I'm gonna say peace out. I look forward to serving you inside my exclusive community and one-on-one. Have a beautiful day.
