So today is a little different video. I'm going to share with you how my studio lighting went from blah to this. So let's go ahead and dive in to what I did different in my studio to make my lighting much better. So this lighting comes with a really cool app. It's called GVM2, named after the product, and it's super easy to hook up. It's through Bluetooth, and it's been really reliable for me. So after you have it all connected, you just hit this manage and go to your console. I guess line light. So let me— first off, let me tell you, I am no lighting expert. All I'm going to do with this video is tell you how easy it is to use this and how to pick the light that you like, what you see. So let's go ahead and go back to the video. So on this, you have these different dimming curves is what they're called, um, which, I mean, I think they're— whoa. Whoa. Really cool. And the nice thing about it is you can control it from an app, so you don't have to get up and adjust and then come look and go back. So, and then you also— this is actually, this is actually really cool. So there's no effect right now on. You can go in here and I can choose lightning. So now you got the lightning effect. How cool is that? You go back and choose your effect. Let's go with candlelight. It's almost like a fire because that is really bright. And then you also have an area in here called source. Matching. So that is tungsten, and we can go to a sodium lamp, which all of these I— here we go, sunset, sunrise. You can change your intensity all while you're sitting on the other side of the camera so you can see exactly what it looks like. And oh, here we go. Overcast sky. Oof. So yeah, I mean, it's a it's a really nice light, and for the money, you really can't go wrong. It's definitely a very very well built product. It is it's heavy. I mean, it is portable. It comes with the little carrying case. I'll show you the carrying case here in a minute, but the— it's very heavy. I can tell you the stand is well made, the lighting is well made, the softbox is really well made. It's very heavy duty, almost like a canvas material. It's very nice. But anyways, it is a very nice light, very easy to use, and then So I use this light as my, my key light, and I only keep it at about 4.5 to 4.7% of 100% because it is very bright, and it's almost too bright for my little studio. And here is my backlight, just a cheap little light off of Amazon. And over here on the other side, I have my side light, and right there I have my little ambiance light. Here we got the case. It is very nice. It's got the little dividers inside, and it's also got a case, a carrying case for the stand. And the softbox as well. So by now you're probably wondering how cheap is cheap. So for me it was really cheap because GVM sent me this light kit to do as— to use as a sample and do a quick little review on the product, and I agreed to do a short video Explaining the ease of use and how easy it is. And I have to admit, it's very easy, and it's something that I will definitely grow into as a lighting for the studio as I learn more about the different features on it, because it has a lot to offer. And the retail price of it is $479. And let me show you right now, show you the website. This here is what comes in the kit. You get a light, you get a standard cover, you get that portable carrying case that I showed you along with the power cords, and then a Velcro strap to hold that power box. I think it's some kind of an inverter or something to, um, to power up that light because it's, it's when it's at 100% It'll blind you. Then you got your spotlight cover too, and it also comes with the softbox, and it also has this, this mesh as well. But I have just the, the white diffuser on it because that's what I like to have in here. So anyways, I will put the link below for you if you'd like to go and purchase it. They are offering $50 off this brand right here. Um, I don't know how long the special offer is running, but that puts it at $429, which is not bad for a light of its magnitude. And then the little Amazon lights, uh, let's jump over there and I'll show you those. So this here, these are the 2 Amazon lights that I have. They came with the stand and all those colored filters and little remotes to run them, and they were only $37. When I bought them, they may have been the $46, but they're still pretty cheap and they work really good. Even if you go and buy 2 sets of those and use 2 of them as your key light And then a side light and a backlight, you'd be pretty good. So I just wanted to share this light with you and my other lights because it has made a huge difference on my videos. And I also got a new mic. I don't know if you can see if it'll focus on that. I got a new mic. It is a Shure, and I can put that in the link below as well. It's just amazing what a, what a mic and light does for your videos. But anyways, I hope you guys like my videos now. I think they're getting better, but they'll get even better in the future. Just make sure you give me a thumbs up and be sure to like, subscribe, and ring my bell. So you'll get notified the next time I post a video. Talk to you later. Bye.
