In this informal, conversational video, the presenter shares practical advice for locating vibrant bluebonnet fields across Texas. She suggests looking for blooms in residential neighborhoods and along less‑traveled farm‑to‑market roads, while warning viewers that livestock, exotic animals (cows, donkeys, zebras, camels) often graze near these areas. A key safety tip is to stay vigilant for rattlesnakes and other snakes that love to hide among the bluebonnets; if a snake is encountered, the recommendation is to immediately move away rather than trying to identify it.

The other part of check your surroundings is to always make sure you check for snakes because rattlesnakes really like to live in bluebonnets, and along with other snakes too.
