In this video, the host announces a worldwide, three‑hour evening photo scavenger‑hunt open to anyone with a camera—phone, DSLR, or film. Participants must capture nine specific types of images: a well‑known local landmark, a street portrait (extra point for a stranger), four additional street‑based shots (e.g., statues, murals, abandoned buildings), a four‑legged animal (extra for wild), a bird (extra for flying), and an object taken during sunset or blue‑hour. Each photo can earn bonus points for compositional elements such as reflections, rule of thirds, leading lines, symmetry, and the presence of vehicles or people on them; extra points are also awarded for passengers, strangers, and birds in flight. Submissions must include a participant number, obtained by contacting the host via the provided links (sign‑up form, Facebook, PDF). The contest caps at 50 participants, with the host handling all judging; ties are resolved by a photographer friend. A behind‑the‑scenes video earns additional points. The winner receives a $50 B&H Photo gift card, funded by affiliate clicks. The host encourages viewers to like, subscribe, and ring the notification bell for future contests.

Hey there! Apparently I have piqued your attention because you clicked on my video link. So let's talk about this photo race. It is a global international photo scavenger hunt for photos. You'll be judged on a point system, um, so you gotta get as many of the objects and Rules of photography in your photos. So let's jump on into it. Who can join? Anyone. If you have a camera, you can join. If you're on the West Coast, the East Coast of America, or Russia, or Svalbard, wherever you are, you can join. It just takes place 3 hours In the evening, if you have a camera, you can participate. You can use your cell phone, your DSLR, your film camera, whatever you want, you can use it. Do I have to go alone? Heck no! You can go by yourself, you can go in a group, you can take a friend, you can take a non-photographer. Who cares? Just go out and shoot. There will be a cap because I am doing all of the final judging and point counting by myself at the end of this contest. So there will be a cap at 50 people, and if this one goes well, there will be another. So you get 9 photos. What type of photos will be in the link below. I'll just kind of touch briefly on them right now. You need to do one of a well-known structure or place or object in your town. You need to do a street photography shot of your friend or a stranger. A stranger will get you an extra point. And then you're gonna do some street-based photography. There'll be 4 of those. You're gonna do like statues, murals, abandoned buildings. You get the idea.
That's right.
And then, um, there'll be a total of 4 of those. And then you'll have an animal, 4-legged animal. If it's wild, extra point. And then you gotta go get a bird, and if that bird is flying, you get an extra point. And then the very end, you're gonna get an object in the sunset hours or blue hour, whatever you want at blue hour, whether it be landscape Cityscape, or I don't know, your favorite object in your city. Who knows? Whatever. It just has to be at sunset or blue hour. All right, so here's where the fun comes in. Yes, the fun. So while you're out taking your pictures, keep in mind that you get 1 point for each of the following. If your image has a reflection, you get a point. Rule of thirds, you get a point. Leading lines, you get a point. Symmetry, another point. So then you go and add a taxi, a bike, a motorcycle, a scooter, you get a point. Put a person on that bike, scooter, motorcycle, you get extra point. And if you can see passengers in the back seat of that taxi, that's another bonus point. So keep in mind that Keep that in mind when you are out taking your photos, because just imagine a miracle could happen, and in every one of your photos you could capture the rule of thirds, symmetry, reflection, leading lines, a stranger riding a scooter, and then a bird in flight, or maybe a bird on top of a guy riding a scooter, or who knows what you could get. But anyways, go out, happy shooting, and keep that in mind when you are out there photographing all those bonus points. And speaking of bonus points, if you send me behind-the-scenes video of you out doing this photo contest, I'll give you a bonus point for each video as well so that I can use it in the follow-up video. With the winner. In the event that we have a tie, I will send the images out to have a photographer friend judge them, and whatever they decide, uh, then that will be the winner of the contest. So good luck to you and happy shooting. And with all contests, they always have rules and regulations, but this one doesn't have many rules because I don't like rules. So down below in the comments, you'll find the link to sign up. You'll find the link to Facebook. You'll find the link to the PDF document. And it's very important for you to contact me, reach out so that I can get you your participant number. Without a participant number, you cannot participate and win the $50 gift card from B&H Photo. The reason we have a $50 gift card is because my followers click on the link to B&H and purchase products from B&H. So therefore, I'm giving back to my community and paying y'all to go out and take photos. So get out there and go take some photos. Don't forget to like and subscribe and ring my bell so you know the next time I do a photo contest in case you didn't get in on the first 50, cuz I will be having another one. Stay tuned.
