Knik Glacier VIP Helicopter Tour 2022 - Ultimate Experience

The video documents a VIP helicopter tour of Alaska’s Knik (also referred to as Colony) Glacier, led by hosts Andy and Jeff. The narrative begins with a sunny weather forecast and proceeds through multiple helicopter touch‑downs: a first landing near a glacier pond and waterfall, a hike down a rock cliff to view the falls, and a final landing on the glacier itself. The hosts describe the scenery—merging glaciers, elevation of roughly 3,700‑3,800 ft, a goat sighting, and clear ice formations. On the glacier they enjoy a polar plunge, sample strawberries, sparkling cider, and collect pristine meltwater into bottles labeled for South Texas. Throughout, the hosts share light‑hearted banter, personal tidbits (Jeff’s seasonal work, skiing, farming), and upbeat music interludes. The video concludes with a promotional call‑to‑action inviting viewers to book their own Alaska adventure via a link in the description.

Hi, let's go.
All right, let's take a look at our weather forecast today. Today's forecast: a lot of sunshine, blue skies. Blue skies, marine clouds, just the perfect day to go outside and relax. That's your forecast. We'll be right back. Yeah, sunny day, sunny day, sunny day. No clouds in the sky, about to get away. Feels like it's been a freaking decade. Sorry, don't call me 'cause I'm gonna be on break. Sunny day, sunny day, make way. All the stress and doubt, yeah, not today. Feels like it's been a freaking decade. Sorry, don't call me 'cause I'm gonna be on break. Got the tropicana fresh, got sushi on a platter. Brandy, honey, and no matter shots.
This is amazing.
Here comes another helicopter.
Yep.
So this is touchdown number 1 on our helicopter adventure. There's the copter behind us with the Knip Glacier and a beautiful little glacier pond right down there. Look how beautiful the water is. We'll be landing on that glacier a little later today. All right, so I have hiked down from the waterfall, which is Right up there.
There's the helicopter again.
Hike down the little rock cliff. I like to come down to this little waterfall right here, get down below it, and take a shot from down below and get both waterfalls.
I'm gonna—
All right, here I am.
Yeah, not today. Feels like can't spend a freaking decade. Sorry, don't call me because I'm gonna be on break. Darling, darling, darling, with my homies eco-friendly. Here we invite only positivity to this party. Don't want no drama with any bad karma. Got a lot of that. I just wanna let it all go. Yeah, I can't say no when I'm this free. Don't wanna go home when we can't sleep. Weather's so nice, only got good vibes. Yeah, we're here chilling, chilling in paradise. Sunny day, sunny day, sunny day. And I'm gonna hit the road tonight. Now my wheels in motion and my windows open with the wind blowing in my hair. I'm driving down the highway, gonna do this my way. I can feel it in the air. Here I go! Here I go!
So this is known as the Colony Glacier, and this right here is the Colony Falls.
Oh wow, okay. With the VIP package, you want to do it on the ice, Andy?
And this is where 2 glaciers merge together. How high are we? What's the elevation here?
Uh, about 3,700.
We're only at 3,700, 3,800 feet. Gorgeous day, no coat required. So next stop is the glacier.
We got up here, see a goat. You want your Prius stuff? Oh yeah.
Don't trip.
Don't become a rockfall. You don't stop between here and where he's at, you got a long Yeah.
Oh, look at that rock we get to go stand on.
Woohoo!
I don't know. I think there was one over right there.
Right here somewhere.
Right there.
Yeah. Over there standing up.
Too bad they're not curious and would come and see us.
Every sheep hunter's dream right there. You do any hunting or anything? Oh yeah, a bit. I haven't really done any up here. I'm just seasonal, so. Oh yeah? So you go back home when? Uh, a couple weeks actually.
Really?
Yeah, we're slowing down here in a few weeks.
So you go back to farming?
Uh, I'm a skier in the winter.
Oh, you are?
Playing Coldplay on repeat, watching people on the street as I go by. Now my wheels in motion and my windows open with the wind blowing in my hair. I'm driving down the highway, gonna do this my way. I can feel it in the air. Here I go!
So here we are. Oh, I dropped my water bottle. We're out here on the glacier.
He said there was 400 to 500 feet of ice below us.
Really?
Yeah.
Wow. There's our ride. We're still in the helicopter. Here we are surrounded by ice.
Bottle of wine down there.
Oh, we got a little special treat. We got some strawberries and a drink down by the glacier pool. Oh, I just heard another piece that goes.
Yeah, pretty incredible. Wow.
Guys, you guys are going for a polar plunge.
Alaska's amazing, but you don't really get any time off of it.
Here we go, polar plunge time.
Work yourself into the ground. The flying's amazing. The fire pit was pretty good.
How'd that feel? Cold?
That's what life's all about in my eyes, man. I'll probably do another one up here sooner or later.
Look at that. We got sparkling cider since we don't drink. Isn't that nice? Look at this, so beautiful.
Wow.
Okay, how cold is the water? Oh, there's chunks of ice in it.
Look at that.
Are you gonna go for a swim? Go for a swim?
Ice water?
Ice water.
It's like a piece of a manipulation puppet, man. Yeah.
I don't think it'll make it.
Wow, this is incredible.
All right, here goes the bottles. I'm filling the bottles. Oh yeah, that's some good stuff. This is high quality H2O. Bottle number one. This one's to take South Texas. Yep. Okay, go ahead. Oh, this bottle's cold.
This water's good.
There's Jeff filling his water bottle. He's got to make it last.
Look how clear that is.
Beautiful.
No ice required.
No, my hand's freezing. All right, here we go. We're gonna take off and head back to the landing pad and call it a day.
All right.
It's been an incredible experience. If you're ever in Alaska, click on the link below and follow it for your next Alaska adventure. Got the water.
Yeah. Oh, keep walking. Okay, action shot. You never know. You never know. All right, so last—
No, you can have it. So we just finished up with our tour. We had nice clear skies. Got to go some places that people don't usually get to go because of no wind and no clouds. And here come the clouds, just like Denali gave us a window of opportunity. All right, that concludes our tour.
