All right, so let's open this box up and see what all you get. So this tripod runs $499. Um, it does not come with any kind of Tripod head. So it doesn't come with a ball head. It doesn't come with a gimbal. It doesn't come with anything. It's just the tripod by itself. It does have a nice handy carrying bag, which is really nice. And let's open this up and see what it looks like. Wow! This is really nice. Look at this. I love the camouflage legs. Carbon fiber camouflaged. Isn't that slick? See how easy it— smooth it is. Ooh. Smooth. Oh man, that's easy to unlock and lock. Real easy. I like that. All right, so, all right, so that's a very nice tripod. We'll have to go out and shoot with that. Let's see what else it comes with in this bag. Oh, it comes with spikes too, so you can replace your feet with spikes if you want to. It has the warranty card and Allen wrenches. So let's go outside and let's go try this out. See how well it works. Hello and welcome to another episode of WTF Stop, Jeff and Angie Photography. So today we have a tripod Made by Sure, it's the CT3204. It's at the time of this recording; it is not available yet. Expected release date is sometime this month. But we're going to go over it and we're going to discuss what I like and go over the specs. And then go out and shoot with it and see how it is. So let's just start at the top and work our way down. Right here we've got the green aluminum tripod head. And on this head you have a 75mm bowl that you can, you level up your camera without having to do fine adjustments on the legs, which is really handy. And then if for some reason you don't like that, you can replace it with the flat base, or if you don't like it adjusting, you can just open up the pins and Put it back in place and it will not adjust anymore. And then you just screw this back on the bottom. And you also have your little hook to hang your bags from to help weigh it down in some windy conditions. I know all about windy conditions down here in South Texas. But anyways, So then you get down into the legs. You got 10-layer carbon fiber legs that are wrapped in a camouflage pattern, which I love camo— I love camouflage. And it's a really sturdy tripod. It's supposed to hold up to 55 pounds. I don't know that I would put 55 pounds on it, but it holds up to 55 pounds, so it will definitely hold my A1 with the 600, no problem. Uh, let's see here. So down we got aluminum twist lock nuts here. And you've got 1, 2, 3, 4 section legs. And then you got the feet that screw out and you can replace with spikes. Um, I'll show you the spikes in a video later on. And so this tripod weighs in at a Whopping 4.4 pounds, and it's nice and compact at only 21.5 inches long. Um, one word of advice though, I did smash my finger pretty good when I was closing here because I had my hand a little too high. You need to make sure you have it down, plus you have better leverage down low when you're closing it up as well. So, um, your maximum height on this is 59 inches, and the legs extend very smooth. At least it does brand new. So while I'm undoing these legs Just thought I would mention that this tripod will be up for a raffle at the end of this video, and I will be doing a video on one of Sirui's video heads later on, either this month or the first part of March, and that's when I'll announce the winner of the tripod. Um, all you've got to do is like the video, share the video, make a comment, and hit subscribe and type in subscribed, enter me in the raffle, and you'll be entered in the raffle. I will write everybody's name on a ticket, put it in a hat, and Maybe have one of my granddaughters pull it out of the hat and see who the winner is. All right, so here is 59.1 inches tall. Time you put a gimbal or a ball head on it, it'll actually be a little too tall for me. So I would actually have to bring it down just a smidgen. About like that right there. Put my gimbal on it or video head or unique ball, whatever I end up shooting. Each one of the legs has 3 settings on it. By pushing the lever down, you have 3 different settings to get you down to 4.7 inches off the ground. Which when you're out shooting a, like here, a beach landscape or something, would come in really handy to be that close off the ground. So with the legs all the way compacted, put it down on the ground, put your gimbal or ball head or whatever on it, and you are 4.7 inches off the ground. And then if that's too low for you, you can bump it down to the next level. And when you're going back down, they just automatically lock. So there's another setting, and then your, your final setting right there. So that's good height right there for sitting. All right, well, let's take this out and Let's go play out in the woods with it and see how well it is. Oh, one more thing I want to mention is that you got these little taps right here. Looks like you got 3/8 and maybe 3/16 on the sides for putting little accessories. But anyhow, so yeah, make sure you like, subscribe, Leave a comment that you subscribed to my channel and that you want to be entered in the raffle, and this tripod could be yours. Slightly used. Alright, let's go shoot. Alright, so here Here we are. We're gonna stand up right now and we're gonna try to get a bird to come in here so we can photograph the bird. I don't know if we're gonna get anybody to participate. I hear somebody though. There he is. I guess we'll pack up and we will come back and we'll do a couple different spots and see how it works out. Yeah, the tripod worked out really good in one of my ground blinds and There we go. That little leveling handle came in handy while I was sitting there photographing some deer. Real easy to level up. Oh, I'm going to switch this down to a seated position. I see some birds back there in the bushes. Whether they're going to cooperate or not is another story. So you only really need to do a quarter turn and it's tight, or I should say loose enough. I just have a reputation of loosening the nuts more than I need to. Jeff is always getting on me about that. All right, so now we're going to try it in the seated position and see how well that works. Oh yeah, perfect height. Perfect height. Now we'll have to loosen this up to level this out again real easy. There we go, done. Sure makes it nice. That leveling ball is really handy. All right, so now let's go ahead and put it all the way down and see how low See how low we can go. All right, so there we are. That's as low as we can go. Loosen this up. Now I'm going to lay down here in all these weeds. I got ate up by chiggers the other day by laying down in the dirt. So yeah, actually this is actually the perfect height for laying down. That's very nice. I don't have to adjust it at all. It's perfect. All right, so there you have it. Sirui CT-3204 tripod works well in all 3 positions. Now let's go back to the, I guess, the YouTube studio slash my living room and And let's go over the specs in detail. All right, let's go. All right. So here we have it. We're gonna swap out one of the feet here for a spike real quick. I, I have never used spikes on a tripod, but I guess if you're shooting on ice, it would come in pretty handy. But there you have it. It's super easy to swap them out. And then you get this, uh, along with the tripod, you get some Allen wrenches with your kit. You get 3 Allen wrenches with it. And you You also get a very nice carrying case. So I'm gonna pack this tripod up and get it ready for the winner of the raffle. So don't forget to like the video, subscribe to my channel, and leave me a comment. That you want to be entered in the raffle and that you subscribed and anything else you want to tell me, like maybe where you're from, what kind of photography you shoot, so on and so forth. But yeah, leave a comment, introduce yourself, and I will do a raffle on the next Su Ray product Review, which will be one of their video heads. And— All right, until next time. All right, so let's just go over a few of the key features of this tripod. The load capacity on it is 55 pounds, and it has that nice 75mm bowl that is really handy in leveling up while you're in the middle of shooting some wildlife and you have to reposition. It's got a maximum working height of 59 inches. a minimum of 4.7, and all 3 of the leg positions are perfect for me, and I'm 5'7. So the materials are aluminum and carbon fiber. The carbon fiber legs are 33mm diameter and 10 layers, And a beautiful camouflage pattern. You do have 4 sections on each leg, and it does have a bubble level on it. The feet are rubber with removable spikes. So overall, this tripod is a fantastic value at $4.99. B&H has them available right now for pre-order. Go check them out. Hope you enjoyed my video.
