How you even got into, yeah, like what were you doing?
Okay, well, I'm a nurse and I feel like I've always been a go-getter. I have a son, so I want to you know, always be the best mom I can, provide the most I can. And, um, I mean, nursing was an entry to that, but I was just getting burned out. I was tired. I wasn't spending time with my family. So out of the blue, a friend of mine told me, she's like, oh my God, there's so many people doing TikTok and they're making so much money. So it was like this idea implanted in my brain and I'm like, okay, I'm not happy. where my life is right now. Like, I, I need to change gears because this is not making me enough money. I'm not spending time with my family.

So I'm like, I'm gonna figure it out. And I even— I didn't even have a TikTok account, so I downloaded it and I didn't know. I was so lost. I'm like, how are people making money in this app?
You just heard about it?
I just heard, like, somebody's like, well, they're making money here. But I was like, okay, I'm gonna figure it out.
That's cool that you even had the initiative to start because some people are like, oh, I don't know if it's real, like And I mean, you're skeptical.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But I was like, okay, I mean, there has to be some truth.
Yeah.
So I downloaded the app. I started, you know, just looking, totally lost. And I started doing organic videos about face massages, and I started growing my following. People, women especially, love beauty, right?

And I got my followers, my followers, but I still was not making any money.
Yeah.
And I was trying to post, you know, 1, 2, 3 videos a day. And that's when I saw you.
Wait, same time?
Yeah, I mean, I opened my TikTok.
Yeah.
And as I, you know, as you scroll on your For You page, I saw you. And immediately, like, I resonated with what you were saying because I'm a nurse. I'm like, oh my God, this girl's a nurse and she's claiming to make $150,000 a month. I don't believe it. Yeah, but she looks kind of genuine. So, uh, so I started following you. And your content just was like so real and honest. So I immediately, you know, felt that connection. Yeah. So that's when I discovered TikTok Shop because I thought I was going to make money through the Creator's Program, just getting paid by the views.
So you didn't even know TikTok Shop, you were doing the Creator Program? Okay.
Yeah, I was like lost.
Whoa.
And then I was like, what is this link? What is she talking about?
What is TikTok Shop? Yeah.

Yeah.
So it was kind of Complicated to navigate on my own. So an advice to anybody that's starting TikTok Shop, join a community, have somebody teach you. And that's when I saw you, I followed you, I started doing TikTok Shop, but organically, like I had no idea. And one of my videos went viral on its own and I was like, okay, she's not lying. There's real money here.
More than the creator program.
I'm like, I'm gonna leave this creator program because that is not making This is where it's at. Yeah, this is where the money's at. And that video, it was just like a simple video of me talking. It started making me $500, $300 to $500 a day. So I'm like, wow, this is—
What was the first product?
It was a COSRX eye patch.
Okay, that's right.
And I'm like, I'm a nurse and I love this because I don't sleep and I have a son. And it was like, oh my God, people connect to your realness.

And but so I started replicating the video and replicating and replicating because I would follow all these multiple creators and do this and do that. And I started, you know, implementing everything, but nothing worked. So then all of a sudden there's you again, and she's like, I'm opening this community only for ladies and I want to teach them how to make $150,000 a month. I'm like, oh my God, yes, I am. And I, at that point, I was not skeptical. I'm like, she's— I mean, it's true. You can—

I was already seeing my income change. I was able to leave my nursing job.
Whoa! I didn't even know that you started it because of me. I thought you were like doing it because of someone else.
No, no, it was really was all because so when you said I'm opening this community, yeah, I'm gonna teach girls. I'm like, oh my god, of course, sign me up.
Wow! And that was December, right?
That was December.
Okay, because you're an OG. She was like one of our first girls to join.
Because when did you when did Miss Affiliates start?
Literally, like the last week of December, I did that first TikTok live where I was like, I want to keep it small for a see. Like, I wanted to make sure I could really help girls and like. tell them what I was doing. And that's kind of when you, Deb, Lainey, the girls joined.
That's when I talked to you about it.

Wow, I didn't know because it was like, I think at that time it was like 80 members or 50.
Yeah. Something like that. Yeah, it was still, there was some, like a lot of coaches. I let some friends and family, but it was like a small group. So what was your first experience going into the community and what helped you, I guess, get to $90K a month? Like from literally beginner, not beginner, but just like so new to where you're at now.
Well, um, well, first of all, I have to— obviously I have to thank me and God because I was like, I'm gonna learn and I'm gonna put in the work and it's possible. So I feel if it's possible for you, it's possible for me, it's possible for you, it's possible for anyone. So the mindset is like everything.

And I was— I showed up, I showed up to the calls, I showed up to the coaching things, to the classes. I took notes, I implemented because I was literally so lost. Like, I had no idea what was the format of a viral video.
Because you had a video go viral, but you didn't really know, like, how do I capitalize that? How do I get that more?
Because you see it, but you don't really know why is it viral. If you're, you know, like, okay, why?
Yeah.
But it's all about the hook and the transitions and the overlays and the quick cuts, which I had no idea because it happens, like, so subconsciously.
Yeah.
If you're looking at it from a buyer's perspective, you don't realize. Yeah.
Yeah.
So I was like, okay, I'm gonna do this. And I just started implementing. I took— I saw Debbie, so I took inspiration also from Debbie. I'm like, I'm gonna— I speak Spanish, I'm gonna open a Spanish account. And I did, and it started doing so well. Yeah, I'm like, she's making $60K a month.
Like, yeah, yeah, like, I can do that. Yeah, I can do that.
And yes, I was just—

And I don't feel like I, I forced myself because also I feel like I want to be inspired. And you have to see it like it's something fun. You're enjoying it. Yeah, yeah, you're not attaching to the outcome. I'm like, I have to make this work.

Yeah, yeah, no, so it was, it was always fun for me, and I was like, okay, I'm gonna do it, it's gonna work out, I'm gonna make this money. And eventually then I started making $10K and $20K and $30K. Yeah, the more you learn and the more you practice and the more you do it, then obviously the better you become.
Yeah. I use your video, your viral MediKey video as an example when I do like the live calls. And I don't even tell them that you're from Miss Affiliate first. And they're like, oh, like she does the exact, like the hook, the format, the call to action, like everything that we talk about and you do it so perfect. Oh my God, thank you.

No, you're like my shining star. Oh my God. I have so many questions, but I also kind of wanted to let you share for maybe a girl out there that doesn't think it's real or is like, 'cause you know how with TikTok Shop it is kind of like, you never know if it's gonna be good or bad or you can get anxious or even just a girl that wants to make money in general, maybe not with TikTok Shop, but they're a nurse right now or a mom and they want the family time. What would you say to her?
Oh my God. I mean, 'cause I was there and we wanna do the right things. Society is like, oh, you have to get a job, you have to do this. But nowadays I feel it's so much more easy to make money.
There's so much opportunity.
There's so much money. We have to kind of like evolve with technology. Yeah. And I mean, if you see people on the streets, everybody's on their phone. So what a better chance to make money.
Digital age.
Yeah. Everybody's on their phone. And it is possible. It is very real. There is so much money and it's just about believing your mindset. It's possible. It's real. If it happens for you, it can happen for you. It can happen. It's out there. It's just the will and also getting to the right place.

Because if you have the will, if you have the courage and all these things, but you find the right school, let's say, to do it, like, that's like the magic potion. Because that's what you did for me. Like, I had everything else, but I needed somebody to guide me.
And it is—
I mean, I love Miss Ophelia because it's like, um, it's a family. And you have like so many, it's so diverse. You have people that speak Spanish, you have people that do fashion, you have people that do— it is so rich. Like, it was like the best investment I could have ever done. Yeah, like with that investment, I was able to make $91,000. Like, if I wouldn't have joined Miss Affiliate, probably I would have done it in, in, I don't know, 2 years, you know, which took me 3 months. Would have taken me 2 years.
Do you know what specifically it was for you? Was it a certain call or product or help that like you were like, oh, okay, or just like the masterclass? Like what really—
Well, I attended most of the classes, but your masterclass and the course.

Okay. I did that also. And you're like, okay, I have a video for this on how to make a good hook and how to make— so it's all about also you want to you want to put the effort. Yeah, right.
You have to now take it.
You have to take it and put it into action. But I did take the course, and then when I saw your masterclass, you're like, okay, we're gonna dissect this video together. Watch it, and this is okay, this is the hook, this is this, this is— so it was just, I mean, it's— I don't want to say it's easy, but it is easy if you understand, if you understand, and if you have the energy. Because also it's all about how you see this and how you approach it. Like, you need to be excited.
Yeah, I'm not just gonna sell you this and be like, okay, yeah, No, you do such a good job with that.
Yeah, you want to be excited. You want to— people want to see it and be like, oh my God, yes, I want it. Yeah, so it was a combination of everything, but your masterclass and the way you explain it and the way you are so transparent. I love that because she's like, this is how much we made, and you know, you can ask me anything. This is my secret formula and I'm gonna share it.
And yeah, hopefully they understand. It's not, it's not like, okay, I'm hiding.

Wow. So being a mom making, you know, like $30K to $90K a month, what did that like change for your life? And when did you quit nursing? How soon into—
Well, I quit. I was so sick of nursing. So I quit it as soon as I had that organic video.

Okay. So I was gone for like a month and a half because I went to Europe. And I literally didn't even open the app because I was like, I want to disconnect. Yeah. Because it's also healthy for us.

Take a month off with my son, with my family. I don't want to know anything about work. I don't even know how to VPN. I don't know. I don't care. Yeah. And I just checked today and I made $30,000 from not doing anything.

But the girls were like, oh my God, there's the new, Wonder Skin lip liner, you're gonna do so well. And yeah, I'm like, wow. So it's just about having the community. Yeah, the ideas. Everybody wants you. I feel what makes it so much better is that you genuinely, from your heart, you want people to, to grow and to do good because you're a good person. Yeah, you're—

It was, I mean, at the beginning, like I feel like anything in life, you need to put the effort. You're not gonna be successful at the first attempt maybe. And I did put a lot of work at the beginning. Yeah, it was like 6 months of me trying and figuring out. So I feel like that was also part of my journey, of course, and just trying. And but once I got the— how do you say it? I got the flow of it and I understood how it works. It's not that I'm a pro now, but I kind of know how to make a viral video.

But it did take some time, it takes the effort, and also you need to think about yourself. Like, well, because a lot of people, I feel what, um, stops them from joining TikTok or doing something like that, it's, oh my God, what are people gonna say?

What are— who cares what people are gonna say? When my— all my credit cards are paid, I'm driving a G-Wagon, and I have time with my son and with my family and to do the things that I really love. So I don't care. I don't care if it's cringe at the beginning because it was super cringe.

Yeah, because, you know, people are like doubting you and they're like, oh my God, that's so embarrassing.

Yeah, how did you do it? I want to. But I mean, and I'm willing to help anybody. But yeah, it's funny now to see that some of them come back and be like, oh my God, wow.
There's a lot of girls that tell me, I want to do faceless or I'm really shy. And I'm like, it's like, you're not going to be shy when you see overnight million views, $1,000 days. Like, you will not care. And it's not like the content that we're doing is compromising morals or a lot. Like, we're literally just sharing skincare that we love and like educating. And I don't know, if you're a nurse, use it to your advantage. If you're a mom, use it. So I don't know.
It's generally using things that you like and sharing with the rest of the world.

Exactly, exactly. One of my last questions, I wanted to hear kind of about your faith and just how you feel like being an entrepreneur with business and your relationship with God, how does that work? Like, what is that for you?
Oh, 100%. Like, I feel God, source, whatever you call it, Christian, not Christian, Catholic, source, God, it's the number one reason we're here. Because there is, I mean, if you put your trust in something that's bigger than you, you're gonna get there. And that's what I did. I believed, I believed in God, I believed in me, I believed in everything around me that everything was gonna work for the best of me because I feel that God puts us in this world to get the life that we want.
He doesn't call us to suffer.
Yeah, no. And there's nothing, you know, like there's nothing wrong with Wanting to be better, with wanting to do good and help others and help yourself, because God loves us and he wants us to be happy.

So that's what— that was— that's still my, obviously, my mentality. Like, God wants to give me what I want, and money is just a tool which can be used for something evil, but— or— and it can be used to do beautiful things.

So the freedom, time, travel, helping, anything. So Yeah, yeah. I'm every day, every day thankful first to God and then to everything around me, to the people around me. Yeah.

Well, I— well, first I have to get back on my creative. So my next goal is to make $150,000 a month soon.
