A mother tells Anthony Goldner that busy parents can't do hour-long gym sessions. She proposes 15-20 minute workouts instead, even with kids around, to make fitness fit real life instead of forcing life to fit fitness.
So gen— generally a mom will get up, take care of everyone first. She won't eat breakfast. She'll grab her coffee. She's out the door. She's— wow. There's a stair right there going down. I'm getting better at it.
You are 100%. Moms, they do a lot. They're amazing. They're superwomen. Yeah.
And, and I think it's about, it's about changing the mindset. There needs to be a shift. I don't need an hour to do a workout. Like realistically, I need 15 to 20 minutes maybe. And depending on how old my kids are, I could probably do it with them. But this idea of like, I need to put my Lululemons on, I need to go to the gym. It needs to look like this. I need to be there for an hour. This I think is crazy.
