Really get a grip on your self-talk because your self-talk is your inner advertising campaign. You're constantly selling yourself something. So sell yourself the right things and make sure that that's a respectful, encouraging dialogue. And so like when I'm working with a team and let's say they are, or an athlete, and they're really struggling with their self-talk, I say, listen, there's only 3 things you can tell yourself. You're like, you're not allowed to tell yourself any other things in a game. Number 1 is your self-talk must be inspirational. Yes. So you can inspire yourself or motivational. Number 2 is instructional. Instructural. And number 3 is calming and relaxing. So it's got to fall into one of those 3 categories. If it doesn't fall into one of those 3 categories, you're not allowed to think it.
