Becky Aste explains the Root to Rise program, which uses a plant metaphor to show why personal growth needs a solid foundation first. Your anchor is a safe place to return to during emotional breakdowns. There's no shortcut; you build roots before you rise.
basically setting an anchor.
Yeah.
Where's the safe place? Like, when I'm having a meltdown or a breakdown, this is the anchor that I need to go to so I could come back to my center, if you will.
Exactly the word. Yeah. And the program I run, it's funny you say that, is Root to Rise. So we root before anything. It's like no flower or plant or anything can grow, right, without being planted in fertile soil and rooted. So we start at the bottom before trying to build anything. Like, the sexy stuff they come in wanting to learn. Like, did you communicate better with my husband and have a deeper intuition, you know, relationship with that? And we gotta start with the root, the anchor. I love that. Yeah, you're like, there's no magic sauce.
Yeah, we're starting at the root and we have to do the work to get up to the top. Exactly.
