Self-care isn't selfish. Taking an hour away to get nails done, exercise, or sit in silence helps mothers stay healthy and show up better for their families.

Yeah. And what I wanna bring up is, you know, how I'm talking about that we're doing work on ourselves and a lead into self-care. Mm-hmm. A lot of people out there think that it's selfish. It's not. No, it's more selfless than anything. If you can prioritize taking care of yourself and your wellbeing, you're able to be your best version of yourself for you and for all of those around you. So like for moms, moms need to make sure that they prioritize some time for themselves. Even if you just get an hour to be away from your kids at a time, that's still something. And you can work up to, you know, other options later, but you need to still have some of that time to yourself, whether that to be to go get your nails done, to get a workout in, just to go sit somewhere in silence and not do a damn thing.
