Anthony Goldner says 80% of daily thoughts are negative and 90% repeat from yesterday. To break the cycle, write down what you're grateful for, say it aloud, and share it with someone else. Using all three methods shifts your mindset most.
80% of our thoughts on a daily basis are negative, and then 90% of every single day's thoughts are repeated thoughts. Yeah, from the day before.
One way I would say to learn how to start shifting that mindset from removing the focus from the negative to the positive is practice gratitude. Either write it down, say it out loud, or tell somebody that you're grateful for them in your life. Reach out to them, or bonus points, do all three.
All three.
All three. Practicing gratitude is something that I do every day. I include it into my journal and it reminds me that you could literally be thankful for everything under the sun.
