Here's why you need to invest in a camera hand strap. Your cameras need a hand strap or a regular strap, but I personally prefer hand straps. If you use your camera without one, just keep in mind that the probability of you dropping it becomes higher. My A7IV has said hi to the floor a couple of times just because it didn't have a strap on it and it slipped by a videographer who was using it as a B cam on a recording. The camera was fine though, but it can be avoided, so avoid it.
