How I Use Viktor in Slack to save me $100,000 in MRR

Areeb Mirza uses Viktor, an AI agent in Slack, to automate sales queries, reporting, and client onboarding across 150+ channels. The system pulls data from Airtable and Close, sends automated reminders to new clients, and flags missed meetings. He credits Viktor with saving $100,000 in monthly recurring revenue.

If you use Slack, this video is going to be extremely important for you, mainly because I'm about to showcase a software that's going to completely transform how you do business inside of Slack. So we use Slack for all of our client channels. We have over like 150 channels at this point, or 200+ if you count all the team channels and everything. So this is something my team uses vigorously. I use it vigorously. It's literally a part of the company now to the point where we just have built so much stuff on it. It's literally a core component of Slack itself. And I don't necessarily use this stuff lightly because I've tried a lot of tools and I have kind of like a list of top 5 tools. Like I really like Cloud Code, I really like Manus, and Victor is actually pretty amazing. And I'll tell you exactly how we use it in today's video. I have kind of like something prepared for you guys. I obviously cannot go to my Slack and just start showing you some messages because of some privacy concerns, but I have taken some screenshots and just kind of like blurred out all sensitive information so I can still show you how we pretty much kind of like use it. So another thing you have to understand about how Victor works, it's literally kind of like an AI agent that lives inside of Slack. So you can add it to all of your channels, you can add it to all of your conversations, you can add it to group chats, you can tag it, you can literally just communicate with it as a regular team member. And you will, of course, the only like work you will have to do is just making sure if you have, of course, a lot of channels, you have to add Victor in every single one of those channels. And then from there, you can literally just talk to it on exactly what you want. Now, how we've specifically built it is because Victor has its own backend system as well, which looks something like this. You have the integrations, you have the dashboard, skills, spaces, schedule, task, team, every single thing is over here. And as you can see, you can connect a lot of platforms just by the integration section by itself. And this is extremely important. And this is very powerful because let's say if you have a lot of data inside of Airtable, Close, if you want to, of course, connect it as you're helping with sales or something or helping your sales team, if you want to connect it with ClickUp, if you want to connect it to like your social media tools, you can literally do this with Victor and make it even more powerful and useful. Because right now on a quite literal basis, my team can literally, let's say my team is on a sales call and they need specific examples for a specific client who let's say is in real estate. Instead of them coming to me now, they just go to Victor and ask for specific examples. And now Victor just goes through our entire client list, gives them specific names and gives them specific links on who to specifically showcase and send as an example to the specific prospect so they can sign up with us. So I might not be available all the time, but Victor pretty much has all the information already so we can kind of like make more tactical decisions and we can make and we can move more faster. So this is one thing I really liked. Now, a couple of things I'll also show you on how it has helped us as well, because let's say on Airtable, we track all of the data on how the social media performances and everything is doing. So of course, before Viktor, we would have to just go in there and check how things are doing and then manually report back to or call out somebody whose profiles are not necessarily doing as well. So now what Viktor does is since it's connected to Airtable, I've created a scheduled task that happens on an automatic basis, which you can do of course in scheduled tasks, or you can just ask Viktor to create that automation for you and then just send it to either you, another one of your team members or a channel. You can literally specify it that way. So over here, let's, let's, let's use Airtable, for example. So let's say Airtable is connected and, you know, like Victor is already a part of Slack, so you can literally take information from Airtable and send it to Slack. So over here I have an example where from Pod 1, because our company is divided into pods when it comes to, of course, you know, teams and account managers. I don't want to get into that in this video, but let's say Pod 1 is performing the best because they've had over 400,000 views this week for like new profiles, 200,000 views over here, 70,000 views, 47,000 views, 20,000 views. 15,000 views and which accounts are slow and which account has zero uploads and for what reason. And then Victor is basically going to tell them all of these numbers. So the operations manager has pretty much insight on this at all times. Because on a day-to-day basis, of course, Slack is where everyone is using at all times. So as soon as you get a notification, it's pretty much in your face and you can take a look at it instead of logging into the software every time and then manually kind of like having to filter out and see specific information you need. Victor already does that for you because you actually just already have to talk to it and tell them what pod 1 is, pod 2 is, pod 3 is, pod 4 is, and just have it built it that way. Because we actually took the time to make sure that Victor understands every single thing about the company so it can give us more accurate information. Same thing with the, let's say, onboarding watchdog. So we had an issue where it was not necessarily an issue, it just required a lot of manual work where as soon as somebody onboarded and they didn't necessarily book a call, if they didn't book a call automatically, somebody needs to remind them to actually book a call. So we've had certain cases where a client would just sign up with us, didn't book a call, and it has been 2 weeks 3 weeks, nothing is being done. So we have some automations already pre-built before Victor where we get notified on who got onboarded and who has kind of like booked a call and who hasn't booked a call. But it sometimes it gets messy and it's sometimes it's not necessarily the easiest thing to track. So Victor, which I just told Victor kind of like what the problem was and what the solution could potentially be. And he just created an onboarding watchdog where as soon as a client comes in, it'll literally log into Close, send them an SMS as well alongside the automated email that goes anyways to remind them of the onboarding. And if they still don't necessarily onboard or book the onboarding meeting within the next 2 days, it's going to send them another email. Now, of course, this is something you'll just have to approve because it notifies you. You just have to click on the approve button, which of course, in my opinion, is way easier than actually tracking who's onboarded, who's not onboarded, going to close, and then sending them an email or SMS. So this makes it extremely simple. And all of the team members like salespeople, operations people, most of them start using Victor pretty much immediately. And the usage of this pretty much grows. Day in, day out. Now, I'll also tell you, of course, one of the things that did happen to us while using Victor, which is not necessarily kind of like on Victor, it's more of, you know, just adding in guidelines for the team, is the team started using Victor for just like unnecessary day-to-day stuff. So for example, like, hey, generate me this script, do this for me, do that for me. Can you generate this report, that report? So it was just a lot of tasks and it was just like eating through credits like there was no tomorrow. Like I'm talking about in the thousands at one point. So that is just something you can literally tell Victor as the admin that, hey, add in XYZ block to whenever somebody asks you about this. Or just redirect them to some other software that we already have for what they specifically need. So that is just something you'll need to keep in mind and just put a block on certain tasks. So Victor doesn't necessarily, you know, start doing every single thing for your team pretty much right off the bat. And it's only doing specific things that you want it to do. So things like, of course, answering questions, figuring out what things are. And if it's a new hire that came in, of course Victor is going to message them, give them all the details, figure out where to watch the videos to get themselves prepared. And also just help them answer with any questions they want as well, which is extremely impressive. So this is pretty much how we use Victor. We're of course pretty excited on how we're going to be keep using this to pretty much speed up our workflow, make sure we have more transparency on data, have data pretty much in our hands at any time we need. And yeah, no, we're super happy with it. And if you use Slack, I definitely want you to give it a go because it's, it's, it's, it's a platform that's generally going to help you out. Cool. All right. I'll see you in the next one.
