I see a lot of beginner videographers make this mistake, but here's a video on why you should stick to one camera brand Whenever buying camera equipment, you have to choose a lane. For example, I use Sony. That is the lane I chose. The main reason I say this is if you have different camera bodies. Let's say you're doing an interview and you need Cam A and Cam B. Your A cam is Sony but your B cam is Canon. Your first problem is that the colors are going to appear different and you'll be lucky to match them in post unless you're recording log but it is not recommended. Your second problem is bringing extra equipment. Canon lenses, batteries and accessories are not going to work with others, so that's more stuff to pack. Choosing a brand and sticking to it helps you stay in tune with the color accuracy, accessories and making purchase decisions in the future. If you're still discovering which camera is the best for you, go to a local nearby shop or rent it out and test it for yourself first. But do not make the mistake of buying different camera systems.
