Foreign. Hi, everyone. This is Avi Arya, father of two girls, six dogs, husband to a superwoman and founder of Internet Moguls. Today I want to talk to you again about fear. Because you know what? This is one thing which is not going away. But guess what? We're going to start chilling, chipping away at it, one step at a time, one video at a time. So keep watching. Today I want to talk about fear in the workplace. You know, every day that we come to work, all of us, every single person that I've met has some kind of a fear, some kind of an insecurity, something about unknown patterns. What's going to happen when I open my WhatsApp? What is my client going to say? I didn't submit a report. What's my boss going to say? What is the future holding for me? And we're scared of opening the phone. Guess what? If that is happening to you, you are not alone. I love it when I'm not alone. That means other people are going through it and somebody would have got a solution to it, right? So here is what we discovered when we spoke to a lot of people on this kind of fear of the workplace Monday morning. How's it going to be? I'm not ready. There are two things. There is fear of the unknown and then there is baseless fear. Fear of the unknown is normal. Everybody thinks, what's going to happen? Am I ready for the future? And all of that. I think it requires a lot of Josh. Inject yourself and your team with Josh. Watch a YouTube video, watch read a motivational book, read a quote, uplift yourself, tell your mind that you're sub Jhote. Tell them that this fear is a lie. And then instead, Josh, in yourself and in your team, every morning, invite them. The other best practices that you can use is that in your office setting, don't have your morning meetings to beat. We have people dragging their feet and coming in. Your morning meeting should be happy meeting. It should be exchange of ideas. It should be what happened last night when you went home, what happened? And then let's create an ecosystem that people want to come in, plonk themselves in the office, conference room chair, pick up a tea or a coffee and say, this is what I'm feeling. Allow them to feel that this is their home and they can say whatever they want and do whatever they want. Don't let them drag their feet to say, I am going to be singled out in front of 20 people because of something that I've ignored yesterday. Don't create that environment. Try to create an environment of happiness. And guess what? Everybody who's watching this, your managers, your team leaders, whoever, maybe they're not the only ones who should be watching this video. It's you. Each and every one of you, who forms every meeting in your organization. You are equally responsible for increasing the Josh, right? So raise the Josh level in your team settings. Make somebody happy. Take flowers for someone. Take a book for someone. Say something nice to someone. Say, guys, ask your boss. You know, excuse me, before we start the meeting, can I say this? I want to share something beautiful. I read increase the happiness quotient in your own office. You know what will happen? There'll be happy atmosphere and you start wanting to go to office. You start wanting to go to those meetings. And therefore the fear of getting up and thinking what's going to happen in your workday will slowly start diminishing. We will start looking forward to it. It will become your happy place. Guess what? Guess who can do it. No management, no company, nobody can do it. You can do it yourself. Raise the level of happiness and Josh around yourself in your setting. The other kind of fears that we see are fears because we've not done something, you know, and that some, some of these fears come because of lack of discipline. I know I'm supposed to submit something and then I wait till the last minute, I procrastinate and then I'm writing my nails. What's going to happen when I'm leaving it to God? You know what that is discipline. That is something. That kind of fear we can remove again ourselves by doing those things in time. Set reminders on your phone, on your laptop. Keep an accountability partner. Make a mentorship group within your organization. People are mentoring each other and saying, you better do this before next week. And then slowly you start seeing once you get into that discipline cycle, you will not have fear of the unknown. You will not have anxiety. You will not have these things. See, you know what, guys? Fear and anxiety, all of these are real issues troubling a lot of us. But the thing is, what I'm trying to do is to learn from people, read books, attend seminars, be vulnerable to talk about my own fears, speak to my team, speak to people outside and try to understand what's happening in this fear ecosystem and bust through it. Because you know what? It's not needed. It's not helping us. All the visions and the dreams are everything that we have. They go and waste money because most of the times we are scared and we can go up like a spaceship like a rocket. If there is no fear, imagine no fear for a week. Imagine no fear for a month. Imagine one year of no fear. What all you can do because your mind goes down every day. You know, you make a big grand plan and next day you're fearful and you're like, I don't think I can do it. And then again you're doing something and I don't think I can do it. So going up and down, up and down. Instead of that one year of no fear, you go only up because you've got so much Josh in you and you have so much self belief that and confidence in yourself and your team that you can achieve everything. Let's try to create a society, a workplace of no fear. Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much for watching this video. I hope you liked it. Please send me your suggestions and comments and share this video with anybody who you feel is going through some kind of fear or anxiety before they get into their workplace. Thank you very much for watching. I'll see you soon, Sam.
