Thank you very much for watching the show. Today's topic is how to land high paying speaking gigs alone. The world. Guess what? A lot of people want to speak. A lot of people want to get paid for it. They want to get paid for travel. And there is a method to the madness. So many years back when I started going to conferences, I realized it was a futile waste of time. I was feeling that I'm never going to get to where I want to. You know why? Because there were 5,000 people at every conference and there are people on stage. Everybody wants to meet the people on stage. And for everybody else, we're finding it hard to get recognized. Guess what I used to do. I'm a tall and large man. I've always branded myself Ask Kaviyari on my jacket. I used to stand up, raise my hand high and say, good evening gentlemen or anybody on stage. Gentlemen or ladies. My name is ABHI Arya, father of two girls, husband to a superwoman, founder of Internet moguls. I had this question and then I would ask that question. People used to give me, you know, all kinds of stares like why is he branding himself? Why is he talking about himself? Why is he getting too much footage? But guess what I'm there for. We are here to get recognized, right? But the thing was this seemed like a very expensive in terms of time, time taking activity. So I was like, I need to be on stage because only those people, if all I might go back with making impact by telling these kind of personalized stories. 50 people in a two day conference, however many, how many other people will recognize me. And that also takes a lot of effort, a lot of time, a lot of talking, energy, patience and going after the right people. But guess what? If I am on stage, if you're on stage, everybody knows who you are. Everybody wants to follow you on Facebook after that. So how do I make that impact? How do I get to the other side? That changed everything. The day I started thinking, I want to get to the other side, I want to get to the other side. I started finding a map. I was like, who are these event organizers? I made a list of these event organizers. I picked up my iPhone and I started making personal videos just like this. Hi, my name is ABHI Arya, father of two girls, six dogs, husband, two of superwoman. This is my story. And now that I run Internet mobile, this is the Kind of social media advice that I give. I know that you have events around retail, real estate and all of that, but I know that, but you and I know that your audience is looking for real social media, relevant news for the hospitality industry. Guess what? I'm the right person. These are my credentials. I'd love to speak for free to your audience. Give me a 20 minute opportunity, a power packed performance in my two minute video and I sent that video through WhatsApp or any other chat platform, as simple as that. And guess what? People started connecting and saying how much do you charge? Or what do you charge at all? And all of that. I started getting on stages and every time I got on stage I wanted to tell everybody else that I got on the stage. So I always hired a camera person. I'd best take your friend with you. Get pictures from different angles. Especially take a picture from the back so that you can show yourself as an established, strong, strong speaker. Your back and you speaking to an audience establishes you in the audience's mind as a speaker. Do that a couple of times and then there are some power punches, there are some funny moments, there are some impactful moments that you know when you pause and the audience pauses with you, when you smile and the audience smiles with you and when you make them laugh and the entire auditorium laughs, record those punch moments and then create. Then you have more content to send out to people who are having events. This cycle continues for only a few months and when you start posting this on social media, on all forums and say, this is what I taught people, this is how what happened. But my everyday life, you vlog about it and that's when people start hiring you and saying, you know what, can you speak at my event? You speak at a few events when you feel that you have actually adding great value to people and people are laughing and going back with a great message. I think that is when you're ready to start charging. Now you can do two things. You can individually start branding yourself and say, this is how much I want to charge value for my time and this is the value I will bring to your audience. The other thing is go and send the same pitch to different speaker bureaus around the world. And one speaker bureau is bound. They are human beings, right? And I believe the world is a beautiful place. You will find somebody who is a beautiful human being who will resonate with your message and give you the opportunity. Once you're on that speaking circuit, you're on a run and you will be able to make consistent money and travel around the world and get paid for all of this. So this is a short video that I thought I compressed on a holiday. I'm sitting in the office and I thought I'd make some few pieces of content based on the question that I get on my social media.
