Q & A with Avi Arya

This is a YouTube video titled "Q & A with Avi Arya" containing a recorded conversation from December 10, 2017, featuring Avi Arya and another speaker discussing the future of video communication technology in the hotel industry, including video responses, virtual presentations, and in-house video studios for content creation.
Once you started speaking, you mentioned that, you know, we learn from each other.
Yeah.
You know, I like an idea like, you know, you give an example of video responses. Yeah, I think that's a wonderful idea. You know, I think nobody has ever thought of these things, you know.
Yeah, you're right. Yeah. Video responses. Even now, even now, I think they work great. In fact, every travel company that we talk to, we say itinerary, Banau, explain it to the person, the conversion rates will go up. Yeah. Even for a banquet query or whatever. It's just, and I'm telling you, this is what I predict. In the next two years, every hotel will have a room like this which will be a studio and you'll have a Skype whatever to talk to your clients. Even if he's in Bombay or whatever, everything will be a virtual. You'll be standing in front of him. But the video responses will start.
Write it down if you don't.
Yeah, yeah, sure.
And something like, you know what? Mr. Modi has started Monkey Path. He's trying to connect with the audience right through holograms.
So I am saying as the, as a GM of a hotel and I want to get, or your sales and marketing, I want to get business from say IBM in Gujarat or wherever. I'll tell IBM to put on their system, they will have holograms. I'll go there and give a presentation and come back. Why do I need to travel? I save so much time. So every single establishment is going to have a video room. See, five years back we used to say every. I'm not saying I made these predictions. The market evolves and makes predictions. So five years by everybody said that every hotel will have a revenue manager. Now I'm saying every hotel will need a social media person who's at least not doing either doing it in house or coordinating with the team. Then everybody is going to have. See the thing is even if you, no hotel is going to hire an agency and keep it in house. Right. But hotels, how do you create constant content agency? It's difficult to afford an agency. Barbara Content. Barbara Content. So every hotel will have a in house video room where they will create content. Call guests for testimonials. Studio is ready. Come put on the lights.
You know, a person from the agency sits out of their office.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But then that person will also need that room. He'll need everything ready. Because when a client comes, put on four lights and you say fine. This is a testimonial from nothing. And this is by Skype with the thing. So video technology. There has to be a video communication room. Sa.
