Should Speed Meetings be the Future of Human to Human Interactions?

A speaker argues that traditional meetings waste time on travel and proposes speed meetings instead, where multiple short conversations happen in one place to save time and improve networking.
I vlog, I'm on my way to a meeting. Every time that I, every time that I'm going for a meeting like this. We left at 8, we left at about 9 o', clock, it's about 10:30. Traffic everywhere. I see people in every part of the world trying to, you know, the more you meet people, the more you can tell them about your product or awesome service and the impact that you're making on this world. The more impact you can make in a shorter amount of time is, you know, sort of seen as more efficient work that you're doing in this world. But this efficiency doesn't come in if I'm stuck in traffic, two hours for every meeting. Sometimes I feel we should do this on Skype. But the thing is that you don't unless there's a, you know, you shake hands with the other guy, speak to him. You know that human to human interface is so important. But this human to human interface means that half or maybe 75% of the world is traveling back and forth and getting three to four meetings done in a day where you can meet so many more people. I made a video many years back where I said that there will be a time for speed meetings. They will say there are speed meetings for different sectors, hospitality, digital media, social media. And there'll be 30, 40, 50, 60, 100 people coming in. You fix your meetings, you talk to everybody for 10, 15, 20 minutes inside a auditorium or a hall. You meet everybody that you want to meet and other, your clients and your vendors can also schedule meetings there. Since you're coming there, can we sort in a 20 minute slot? So that's how time efficiency needs to be coming in. This is my second video in two years. You know, I'm reaching out to everybody. All these startups think of something like that. Time is precious. People are looking at convenience, people are looking at getting more done. On an average, if I'm meeting say 30 to 40 people in a month, I want to meet 40 people a week. So if there can be a startup which does a, you know, an app which allows people to schedule their meetings with the other person in a particular fixed area, where there are other people from the hospitality sector and other people from social media, other people from all sectors, you can do 20 to 30 to 40 minute meetings with one person, do 10 a day. You know, go for many of these events. You do three, 400 meetings in a, in a month, or 200 or whatever. The impact that you want to make on this world, your, your route to success is is. It becomes so much faster. This is just show this, Karan. This is so much of a waste of our time and energy. It's just crazy. I know Elon Musk says he's working on hyperloops and faster transport and all of that, but I think that will still mean one person meeting the other person. What I'm saying is one person meeting 100 other people in one auditorium one day. So he comes back and says, I met 40 people that I wanted to meet, and that's the need of the hour. I hope somebody is listening to this and comes up with a fantastic idea that serves everyone.
