The Ask Avi Arya show

This is a YouTube video titled "The Ask Avi Arya show" recorded in May 2020, featuring Avi Arya hosting a live Q&A session. The content includes multiple participants such as Chandni, Geeta, Ankit, and others who ask questions related to digital marketing, interior design, content creation, and business development. Avi Arya provides detailed advice on leveraging social media platforms, video marketing, and online engagement strategies to grow personal brands and businesses. The session is interactive and conversational, focusing on practical tips for entrepreneurs and coaches during the COVID-19 pandemic period.
Okay, we're ready to bring on the guests for today.
Hello, sir.
Hi. How are you?
I'm good, Very well.
How are you doing? All well. Thank you very much for asking.
All right, sir. So firstly, thank you so much for doing this. This is an amazing opportunity for all of us to ask you questions and just get a clarity on what we can do in our future. So right now, what I wanted to talk to you about is interior designing. So I'm an interior designer. And during this whole Covid situation and what happens after this, interior design has now become a luxury for most of the people. So what is your take on it and how should we proceed further and what is it that we should be doing?
Okay, so you do interior. You do, you do more residential or more commercial?
Residential at the moment.
So see, the thing is, I don't think in my opinion, any business ever comes to a standstill, any one industry will ever shut down. Obviously, there will be competition and the best will rise to the top. Now, sometimes the best known are better in terms of business than the best, which means that if you're known, more people will reach out to you. There could be somebody who's better than me, but because he's not known, people don't know how to search for him. He's not available, he's not visible. So therefore I might get the work of somebody else. Right. So it's a good idea to leverage the Internet to be the best known. I'm sure you're very good at what you do, but to be known is equally important in today's day and age. So one of the things I always say is use Instagram and Facebook Live to answer interior designing questions for like, what am I doing? I announced earlier in the day that I'll be coming live on the Ask Kavyaria show. Here is the link. Feel free to ask me any questions on your digit for your digital marketing, entrepreneurship or mindset questions. I'm not. That's my field. Similarly. What's your name again?
Chandni.
Similarly, you can say this is the Chandni show on interior design. And every day from 4 to 5, 11 to 12, whatever the time that you want to choose, go in there every day and answer people's questions. So call in house husbands and housewives and, you know, couples together and say you asked me your interior design questions. Show me, because I'm doing it on video. You can show me your house. I'll give you a few ideas right there. And then you do a show every hour, every day for an hour you get at least 10 people and you'll be able to answer their questions for at least six to seven minutes each. @ the end of every video you have a couple of options you can tell them. For all of you who like the show and thought that six to seven minutes of personal attention was less for you, click on the link book a time on my calendar so that we can get together on a zoom call where I'll speak for you for 30 minutes and give you a one on one consult. That's a great way. This is a great way to be able to get online consulting. I don't do that very often. But at the end of today, after one hour, say about 30 people have, 10 people have come on the live and 30 other people are going to listen. If I give in a link to say book a 30 minute call with me, I'm sure it'll be booked in the next 10 minutes. So people are so one of that. Do that. The other thing is I'm a huge advocate of how YouTube works to get you sales. Now what happens is that interior design today things have changed. So go to Google Keyword Planner and type questions around the question that your audience may be asking. How to hire an interior designer. Interior design for a third floor. Interior design for a bungalow. Interior design for space where my grandparents are moving in. You know whatever kind of questions people have, you know those questions. Type, type about 5, 6 questions on Google Keyword Planner and you'll get related questions to what you're asking and it will give you a keyword search. How many people are asking for those questions? Make a note of the first five questions that come to your mind with maximum search volume. Then go to Google Trends again, it's a free website. Go to Google Trends and type the same five questions and you will see where the demand is coming from. Is it coming from Maharashtra or UDIP or Rajasthan or whatever? It will tell you where it's coming from. Then third go to answerthepublic.com you put in the same keywords in answerthepublic.com, press enter. It will give you 10 other kind of related questions to your question. So you'll get to know exactly what people on the Internet are searching for today. And then finally go to a website called SpyFu S P Y F U that website. Go there and put in the email the website of a company that you admire, an architect that you admire, an interior designer that you admire. India, abroad, wherever or your competitor and press enter and you'll get all the Facebook ads they're doing, all the blogs that they're doing, all the SEO articles that they're doing. You'll get know exactly that entire marketing plan on what they're doing. Go to these four websites. Number one, start your own Instagram or Facebook Live show and invite people to ask you questions. Every day you do this for 30 days, I promise you will become a brand on the Internet and people will start coming to you. Doesn't matter if this work is less. I agree work is less, but that work will get come will come to the people who are better known than everybody else. And number two, follow this four step system, Google Keyword Planner, Google Trends, answer the public and then spy fu and you know exactly what your next 30 days or 3 months plan should look like.
All right, that's great advice, thank you so much. Another thing was I have taken your MVM classes and I've got that course as well. So I was thinking of using that also since now that work from home is becoming a necessity and as the environments, you know, kind of effect us in a lot of ways. So I was thinking maybe I can like start circulating some videos wherein you know, people are, I tell people that you should do something with your spaces. It doesn't have to be very expensive. You can call me if you want to just amp up some few things. So I was thinking I can use MVM in that way. What do you think?
Absolutely. So like I said, MBM can be used to go live. MVM can be used to start your YouTube channel. MVM can be then used to send out video messages to your clients. So for example, if you know that there are five people who are interested in building a home and they were your clients say two months ago and now after Corona, they're not very sure. So send them a video with a 5, 7 minute video, details of what they should be doing and email it to them. Or using a tool called Vidyard, or just send them a WhatsApp message and say all I'm asking for is a 20 minute consultation call which is absolutely free. Let's see if this works out for you. So three videos a day, 15 a week, 60amonth is what I always say. It takes not more than 10 minutes to do a video, 30 minutes to do three videos. I think we should work at least 30 minutes a day for business development. 30 videos a day, I mean 30 minutes a day and in one month's time you should be able to get your first two, three deals happening 100% all right.
Thank you so much, sir.
Thank you. Take care. All the best. Take care.
Bye.
Okay. Lovely. Hello. Hi. I can't. I can't see you. You want to put on your video? Okay. Hi, sir. Hi. What's up? Yes, sir, I'm fine. Sir, I want to ask you that I want to run a digital marketing company. So where should we start? How old are you, sir? I'm 19. Very good. So I think what you should do is you should make a video, talk about who you are, what your skills are and send it out to the top five agencies that you want to work with and ask them for an internship. Say, I'm going to offer my services free for the first two to three months to be able to prove to you that I'm very good at what I do. Work with the best people in your industry for free. After two months or three months of proving to them that you are indeed capable of doing what you promised you can do, then ask them for a job and start working with them for at least one or two years. In that 24 months, you will understand the inside working of an agency. How to charge money, what to do, everything. That's when I would advise you start your own business. But sir, other companies or other clients, how. Trust how they trust on me. Video Banaki skills. Okay. Okay. Thanks, sir. Thank you. Okay, sir. Sir. Thanks. You're welcome. You're very welcome. I totally believe that working for somebody opens up your eyes to many possibilities on and you get to know more about yourself. Yeah. Let's have the next person video on please. I can't hear you or see you. Whoever's the next person, can you have your video on please? What schools are looking for right now, schools and colleges are looking for. You'll be helping them. But like I said, most of the times with the best of service and services that we have in the best products that we have, we are unable to showcase ourselves to the world. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Or principle. Specifically WhatsApp number social media. Or to then run a Facebook ad and say, this is for all schools, colleges, principals, teachers, professors, everybody. I'm doing a one hour webinar on how I can help your school students to get a job. And this is also for parents whose children are looking for jobs. Call them for a webinar. In that Webinar, do a 60 minute presentation like I did for MBM. Do a 60 minute presentation. Help them out. Oh, I think we lost stages. Okay, who's next? Sir? Namaskar. Namaskarji Hanji. All Good. Thank you very much. Saturday or Sunday Internet market basics. Thank you. Thank you. Welcome. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, we still have 20 minutes on the clock, so bring on your questions. Let me know how can I help you in detail on whatever questions and answers that you are seeking.
Hi Avi.
Hi Geeta.
Namaste. Yes, Namaste. Nahugitas from the skill school.
I remember you. When you do introduction, then it's easier to remember.
Yes, absolutely. I think I have to be always there.
That is such a powerful. Because when I was scrolling down your feed, it was so easy to have a mind recall. That's a fantastic strategy. Thank you for sharing that.
Thank you so much. Thank you. So yes, I also utilize this time of lockdown. I wasn't doing anything on the social media platform. And as you discussed, I started with my live sessions. I used to go live every day for 30 minutes and I build up on the audience and that's how I got the push to start creating videos. Now if you have observed, my videos are short and crisp and what I want to convey is very chota and quick. Yeah, but how to go to the next level? Like I want to now put onto the platforms, they can actually pick up the module, whatever they want to learn in detail. These are like teaser videos, 30 minutes, 30 seconds. Just to give an overview case how to go to the next level.
Sure. No. So firstly, I've been through your channel and I think that those snacks, you know, when you snack on food, you snack, those snacks are extremely important for people to understand because that's how people consume a new person's information on. If I'm following Shah Rukh Khan, that I'm following him for an hour, whatever movie he does, I watch till then. But if there's somebody new, I want to snack on the trailer to see if this is good for me or not. So. And with the, with the kind of videos you're doing, it's very easy to go to the next one and the next one and the next one.
So I think that's retention level. I wanted to have that retention level that people should not skip my video. They should just complete it.
I think that's very, very masterfully done. It's very easy to go through all your videos.
Thank you.
So that is perfect. There are many ways to go about it. Recently I described something called the MVM Turner wheel. It's a wheel turner, but we're all marketing people. I always try to put something that is easier to remember. So I say it's an MVM Turner wheel. So when people say that the wheels of my business are not turning, when my engagement is not growing, my likes are not growing, I'm not able to go to the next level, that's when this strategy comes in. So I always say that every morning, 10, 9, 10, 11, 12, depending on when your audience is relatively active, put a poll and say, what are the three questions I can answer for you today? Or say the most powerful thing to get a response on the Internet is when you say how. What? Say what can I help you with? And then give three questions. How to speak better English, how to speak to your boss, or how to whatever, depending on your business.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So when you have three how to's. When a person, when a human being listens to a how to question, he's like, yeah, that's giving me an this, this. I'm getting a solution. So how to rewire the brain and say this is a solution. I want to. So you have three, four questions every day. They could be similar. Say at 11 o' clock every day, you put that post and people will. Or you can run a poll on Facebook or whatever and people will choose which ones they want.
Right.
Then you go live every day or as often as possible. Now we're in lockdown, we are at home. So I'm like, why not every day go live at say 4 o'?
Clock? I go live every day. 4:30 every day.
Put a flag in the ground like, you know, Kapil Sharma, 830 color spay, Arnab, Goswami, Norbuje, Rose Rathko Republic. Even though the whole country knows them, you see that they keep telling the whole world, reminding them because we all hundreds of other channels to go to. So you say that Gitarsh, whatever your name is. I say ask Kabi Arya. I encourage people to have a ask show because when you say ask, people say, this is my show. I will go. I will be featured. Everybody likes to be featured.
Absolutely.
Nobody wants to sit and have other people's questions. So an ask show is a good idea. And ask with your, you know, full name. 4:30 in the. And you say in this show, I will be answering the top five questions from the morning poll. And people who've responded to the morning poll say 20 people responded to the morning poll. You, you send them this link, the one that I said, yes, yes. They will then come in the evening and then come to a show like this. If you see I branded my show, it says after VR.
Right, right, right, right.
I answered about 10 questions in one hour. It takes about six, seven, eight minutes for one person. There are 10 questions. Now as soon as this is done, this entire thing goes on my IGTV. This entire thing goes on my YouTube. So I've got two pieces of content instantly done. Then I will break down the Q and A, all the 10 Q and A's. I'll put in a question from you, a question from the previous question from how to and then my answer, how to my answer. And I have 10 pieces of content which I'll repurpose on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and at the end give a link to next day's Facebook Live or Instagram.
Yeah, right.
So we'll continue feeding. So these short pieces of content will continue feeding in my live. Now at the end of the life you can say if you want to be trained by me or you're looking for courses, I'm putting a link and come in for a zoom call where I will explain to you how I can help you. Now these people have already filmed that poll. They've consumed Ask Gita show. Now when they come for the poll, they are warmed up to buy something from you. That's when in the of 2030, you can talk to them. And all this exercise is free.
That's right, absolutely. Yes.
Yeah, that's doing it. So you regular content and if you do this exercise for 30 days, in the morning you put a poll, in the evening, you do this and then break up the videos and put them everywhere and then put a link to the show for the next day, you'll see that you get up in the morning and you'll have your show filled up with 10 questions every day and when every show, now for example, when this show finishes and if I say, okay, if you want to book a call with me, a one on one call or you want to come for my next webinar, I'm going to put a link. Now when I put this link, when I put this show on YouTube and even after one people will see it, they'll book that call with me or they'll come to my webinar. So once I have 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 videos, all of those videos we serve as lead magnets coming, filling up my webinars without me spending Facebook money ads.
Right, right, right. But another important question that I have in my mind is I'm not on YouTube so I don't understand whether this duration, the shorter videos that I'm doing will add any value to the YouTube channel. If I start one.
Sure. No, so like I said, YouTube. So once your shorter videos, let them remain on Instagram or Facebook or LinkedIn, wherever you bring them to a life. Which is the live that I'm doing right now. Okay. Live you can do. Yeah. And then the life, this whole live recording, pick it up and just post it on YouTube.
Okay. So the conversation session, I put it on YouTube. Okay.
This after it's 3:29 at 4:00', clock, this is going to go to YouTube.
All right. Okay. And if I want to sell modules, like if I don't want to do live sessions, let's assume I record my videos and then aware which platforms I can put them into for people to buy.
Sure. So now so that comes to. So that's obviously longer form content. When people are, people are search. See there's a difference between Instagram and Facebook and Google and YouTube. And we must understand this. On Google and Facebook people are going searching for a product.
Right.
On Facebook and Instagram they're having fun and we're interrupting them with their ad. So both of them strategies. So the answer to your question, when you want to sell something to somebody, it's better to sell some. It's easier to sell something to someone who's actually looking for it. So the best channel is YouTube. On YouTube, your video start with how to video. How to and then your video. And at the end of every video you can give them a PDF guide to download. When they read the guide in, in lieu of the guide that they download, they will give you their phone number and their email address.
Right.
You build up an email list to be able to send them emails every week, once a week, once a day, whatever.
Right.
And then be used to eventually filter them to a zoom call. So whenever you feel. You know what? I think I've done enough videos everywhere now. Let all the videos funnel it into an ocean which is my webinar. And I want 50 people and then 50 people automatically come in. So like for example, when I started I used to get. I used to spend all my money on Facebook ads and there were no nothing organic. And today about 20% of the business is coming from. Which is a huge chunk. 20% of business is coming from people who say wo video. They come video deka and they're automatically coming in. So when that 20 becomes 50, it's a beautiful business model to have.
Right, right, right. Great, great. Thank you. Thank you for answering the questions, Avi. If anything else I'll get back to you. But yeah, thank you so much for the insightful insight. Thank you so much. Thanks.
Thank you. Bye bye.
Thank you. Bye bye.
Okay, ladies and gentlemen, I hope you're finding this useful. A Q and A show a couple of times a week. I know I should be doing this every day, but till we do it every day, a couple of times a week is what it is. How are you?
Good evening. Good evening. My question is actually I am a coach basically, so I do my webinars.
Okay.
Are you able to hear me?
Loud and clear. Yeah.
So when I, when I do my sessions, basically I am currently not on Instagram and I have not done any live show like you do on Streamyard or YouTube or something. So what platform is good for me as a coach and where should I start? Should I start on Instagram or YouTube or Facebook? What do you have?
Yeah, normally a good idea to start is where you have more followers. Right. So that more people will come. And if you say that you have equal followers everywhere, then start with Instagram. I would next day's Facebook Live for Instagram.
Yeah. Right.
So we'll continue feeding. So these short pieces of content will continue feeding in my life. Now at the end of the life you can say if you want to be trained by me or you're looking for courses, I'm putting a link 20 people can and come in for a zoom call where I will explain to you how I can help you. Now, for example, when this show finishes and if I say, okay, if you want to book a call with me, A1 on one call or you want to come for my next webinar, I'm going to put a link. Now when I put this link, when I put this show on YouTube and even after one people will see it, they'll book that call with me. So once I have 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 videos, all of those videos serve as lead magnets coming Filling up my webinars without me spending Facebook money ads.

Good evening.
Good evening.
My question is actually I am a coach, basically, so I do my webinars. Okay. Are you able to hear me loud and clear?
Yeah.
So when I. When I do my sessions, basically, I am currently not on Instagram and I have not done any live show like you do on Streamyard or YouTube or. Or something. So what. What platform is good for me as a coach? And where should I start? Should I start on Instagram or YouTube or Facebook? What do you have?
Yeah, normally. Normally a good idea to start is where you have more followers, right? So that more people will come. And if you say that you have equal followers everywhere, then start with. Start with Instagram. I would say you start with Instagram and start interviewing other people. What happens is that two people's audiences collide and they. So you get an advantage from other people's audience also listening to you. Right. So I like that about Instagram. What I like about Facebook is that you can promote. You can run an ad. Please run an ad and tell people. So your ad will help drive traffic if you have no followers. So that is the Facebook strategy. I hope you heard what I said. What I was doing was go start with Instagram and Instagram. Call a guest. When you call a guest, the audiences collide and you get the power of everybody's, you know, attention. You go live on Facebook and you can actually advertise and say that I'm going live on this time. Put an ad, and people can book a time to come live with you. So spend 5,000, 10,000, whatever amount of money you think you want to get in to get people to that live show, because it's all marketing and business development. And then the third thing to do is, is obviously going live on YouTube, which is also something which requires a lot of consistency. And I have not spent money to bring people to my YouTube live, I've spent money to get people on Facebook Live and I've done, I do an Instagram Live every day. So even if you have a fewer audience, as long as you're going live every single day, you will start, you know, start building up, number one. Number two, if you have an email list, it's a good idea to run a contest. Today I'm running a contest and I'm going to give away one of these 10 books. I got Robin Sharma books in my hand and I'm going to give it to people. I'm running a contest at 4 o'. Clock. You're going to come and ask me questions and the best question is going to get an award. You can do that on your email list and people will come for that. There are various ways of getting people engaged and once they come in and they see that their questions are answered, then more and more people will want to come in and say, you know, this is a place where your questions are answered. So people will actually start lining up. Now once people start lining up and they get free value, free content, then at the end you can say if you want more of my time, click on the calendar link, go to Zoom, call with me and let's get connected on a one to one. Or you could say at the end of every life you can give a link to your next webinar. So do a live Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday do a webinar, then do a live Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, then do a webinar so you can funnel various people into a webinar without spending enough a lot of money on Facebook ads.
Yeah, last time you gave me a quick bite that you put your calendar invite over there so that people book your coaching for the first 30 minutes free. So I created my appointment, okay, booking and I started doing that. But I am also starting a series where in India, biohacking is a very new concept where people are not aware. So I was planning to start a live 30 minute show every day which the name is known as Games of Belief on Instagram. So as you rightly suggest, I am planning mostly from next week.
Sorry, I can't hear you.
I think we got distributed ready now.
Yeah, okay. Yeah, go ahead please.
Yeah, sorry. So he's going to ask me a question answers answer round. And after that, once the 12 sessions are over, I am also planning to have a question answer after the event is finished. So what do you suggest? How should I go about it?
You got everything sorted out?
Will it work?
On Instagram 100%. Anything you do with consistency and you serve your audience and you do a lot of Q and A. Q and A allows people to engage with you. It will definitely work. Cool.
Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Bye. Hi.
Hello sir. Good evening.
Good evening. How are you?
Very fine, sir.
I can't hear you. Can you put your mic next to your mouth please? Yeah.
It's near only, sir. So I'm saying I am really very blessed that I'm seeing you live, sir.
Thank you so much. I'm very happy to see you as well. How can I help you?
I am. I, I have already taken your MVM 21 days challenge course, sir. With once you and Siddharth sir were live. So I have taken Siddhartha Silver course and.
Yeah. Yeah.
Yes.
Ankit. Good. Good to see you. Yeah.
So sir, I, I, I want to clear my niche. Like I am already in network marketing industry.
So.
And right now just before like 10 to 15 days back, I have joined an affiliate marketing course. So can I promote that course also? At the same time I can do network marketing.
See, the thing is that it's business especially I talk about the Internet only on the Internet. If you clarify, you win. If you confuse, you lose. You don't want to confuse your audience. So I would say that put your flag in the ground as one person. Ankit is the guy who does affiliate marketing for cell phones or jackets or whatever. And be known for that. Once you're known for that then you can have a separate Z. I talk about XYZ in my program. Right? You can have a separate Z. But I think you should start with one and be focused on one.
