“We were working… but had no idea how much we were making.” No tracking. No clarity. No predictable

Venky's business had no financial tracking or sales clarity until joining Avi Arya's TAF program. He learned pricing frameworks and planning systems that led to a closed deal worth ₹1.4 lakh and a pipeline including a New Zealand client. He credits having a mentor as essential and targets ₹6 crore revenue in two years.

My first question is, where were you struggling when you met Mr. Arya and the team TAF?
See, the primary thing of me coming to Avi was that for us, when I went, when I first interacted with Avi, for us the sales was not a challenge since we were working with only reference. That was not a chance, but delivery was a big challenge for us. Then after joining the course, the whole approach, it was like a paradigm shift. We realized that so much of time we have lost, and time equals money. That is one key thing which has really shaken me, that say, boy, come out of the comfort zone and move fast.
And you are not getting predictable leads also, right?
Yes, yes, yes. That was also part of the problem what we are facing.
Okay, okay. And what was the revenue before joining us?
There was no count at all. Paise aaya, paisa gaya, katsake. That was the thing, that's all. We have never measured how much profit we were making. We have never measured what is the loss we were making. We never measured. See, it was like this. This month if I need 3 lakhs, I earn that 3 lakhs. And then after that, forget all the problems. So this was indirectly affecting the financial independence. When you want money, money is not there. Money is there, of course. But it is with the client, not with our account. Makes sense.
Yes.
After coming there, there was a lot more clarity.
Right. So how was the journey with us, working with us? What did you—
One key thing is that I strongly believe that for any successful person, you need to have two people. One is a right mentor and one is a godfather. And both the characters I have seen in Avi Arya.
Wow, brilliant. So, so now that you have worked with us and you have told me that you have got close one client also, so how was that experience?
That was— the experience was very good. Of course, this is not a new client, it was our old client only. 2 years ago only, he wanted us digital marketing. We gave him a quote, it did not work out. Again this year, he came to us in the month of January. We gave him a quote. That is the time I was recently joined the course. Then 2 weeks ago he called and said, Venky, I want. Then I made the proposal as per the 3x3, 3x3x3 formula proposal. And next he said, Venky, come, let's discuss, let's close. Because he knew what the differentiation we were making.
Right, right. So what are the frameworks and strategies of Mr. Arya which you have implemented in your business which helped you?
Currently we are using his proposal formula, which we are following it to the last. Unless and until the proposal comes to 40 or 46%, I'm not sending, I mean, I'm not taking the presentation. And the entire, we have sent about post about 15 to 20, we have done about 15 to 20 sales calls. In that, few people have really appreciated and they said that it's good, but currently we are not having budget, we cannot go ahead. Then I said, okay, fine. But in the course of discussing with the most of the prospects, One guy which the morning I had a call this morning was a one-to-one tutor.
Okay.
His average ticket is also ₹1.5 lakh for one entire year. So he had made some— we had given him a projection for undergrad admission, which he was okay. After that, he came out with a few points that we'll have to rework the proposal because he is operating on a margin of 30% and that what you say, the lifetime value of a client. For me, it's between 3 months to 12 months. People might enroll for 1 year, but they'll be there for 3 months only. And some people will come at the last third month, in the last quarter of the year. So based on the proposal, if we give, I think that will also be a sure-shot closure. And one college was very impressed with the proposal what we gave, and they were hearing what they wanted to hear. But that because of the budget issue that did not go through, but still we have kept that table open. My co-founder is talking to her today. We'll have to see what is the outcome. But all field is excited, Arshit. Now I can see that achieving that crores is possible.
Brilliant. So my last question is that for somebody who's skeptical to join Mr. Arya, what is your message for them?
I would say just jump in. That's it. Hop on the ride and start the ride. Perfect, perfect.
So you have any questions for Mr. Arya? I will directly tell this for him directly.
No, morning I spoke to him. He called me this morning.
Okay.
I had about 5-10 minutes chat with him. It was all about feeling really excited, that's it. And to add to it, it was— I don't know whether it is a coincidence or whether it was the right time that he called me. I had made a 90-day plan using the Master Brain, without spending money, how can I achieve 6 crores in 2 years?
Nice.
So it gave me a final group rate, and this about half an hour ago also I was working on that calendar only. So from Monday we have started implementing. So this will solve my outreach problem also, my outreach problem, my content for personal branding, then authority building, then reaching out to the right audience with this content. So 5, 6 problems it is solving out.
So, so now we have got full clarity of superb clarity.
Yeah, now it feels like driving an Autobahn in Germany.
Brilliant. Can you tell me the ticket size which you closed recently?
1.4 lakh. Out of that, 50,000 is our fee, 90,000 is going to the ad spend. This is for the 3 months, and there are few more, couple of more in pipeline also. One New Zealand client is also there. If that opens, no, that is also a good ticket size, 1.3 lakhs.
Perfect. All right, thank you, Mr. Venky.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Rashid. Thank you. And I, I have to thank you also on the final note for having patience and following up with me for every question, even though I did not do the work.
Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Bye.
