Why Big Agencies Fail & How Micro Teams Win | Avi Arya #agencylife

Avi Arya explains why large agencies struggle and how micro teams of in-house staff plus outsourced workers stay profitable and flexible. He covers structured daily meetings and delegation strategies that keep operations lean without sacrificing output.
The agency problem. How and why to have a micro team and how to manage them. In this video I'm going to tell you why it is difficult to manage large teams and agencies. All about resources and getting teams bigger and bigger. If your retainers don't increase because of the market situation of the economy, your team salaries are going to keep on increasing and one day you'll feel the pressure of profitability. How do you manage this? In my agency, I am now building micro teams. Micro teams are a hybrid mixture of teams within the office and outside. Some fixed on your payroll and some on variable. If your client goes, your variable cost stops immediately and you have limited fixed costs. To be able to have micro teams, you have to have three important meetings in a day. A morning, afternoon and evening meeting. All three are 45 minute huddles to be able to keep in sync and resync your internal team and your outside teams. These systems allow you to breathe easy and not get into the comfort zone and the trap of continuously hiring people so that you increase your laptop costs, your rental costs, your electricity cost, your HR costs. And one day, if you lose some of your big clients, you come into stress and pressure. Remember, you joined this business, you became an agency founder for two purposes. For peace and for profits. And if you're getting neither, you're going to go nuts. And therefore I am developing this micro team model. I'm not saying no to outsourced teams only. I'm not saying no to in house teams only a hybrid model of small team that you manage. And if you want to know how to manage, who to hire and when to delegate to these teams, I created a video on the delegation ladder which was inspired by Danmartive. Go and watch this video which in which you will understand how to build teams and then how to delegate so that you can get freer so you can think and plan the future of your agency ahead. I hope you like this mini video on how and why to create micro teams so that you never get into the problem of a fixed payload which can get stressful when your clients start leaving or the economy goes bad or the retainers stop increasing. Very important. Watch this video again and share it with somebody who's continuously increasing their teams and help them with the micro peel strategy. Thank you for watching. I'll see you in the next video.
