Existence couldn't have started with nothing. Discovering comfort in eternity the questions of infinity naturally lead you to the question of origin. One night, I realized that nothing could not create something. If anything exists now, something must have always existed. That awareness felt timeless and strangely comforting. Perhaps what is eternal includes us. If we belong to that continuum, then we are a participant in eternity itself. To give is to act as life acts, continually extending itself. Contemplating eternity helps dissolve the fear of what's out of our control and getting caught living in the past or the future. You see that giving doesn't deplete what's infinite it expresses it. Let yourself reflect. Do you agree that absolute nothingness couldn't have created this universe? Does contemplating the eternal change the way you view your life? If not, I'd love to hear how you think absolute nothingness really could create anything.
