BEYOND EMOTIONAL IDENTITY_Guided Meditation

A guided meditation that asks you to name your core emotional wound, then listen for an inner voice offering unconditional acceptance. The practice teaches you to hold the wound with care without letting it run your life, and to return to clarity, tenderness, and intention instead.
So allow yourself to start with a question. What is the wound or the identity, the pain, the anger that you carry with you that makes your world so much smaller than it can be, so much narrower, that limits your potential to see and experience. Experience your own heart, your being, your intelligence, your curiosity. So pause and just identify. Is it anxiety? Is it agitation? Is it confusion? Is it downness? Is it some combination of all the above or something else? And just give yourself the awareness this is the primary wound or identity that I carry that injures me. And then hear a voice, hear your essential self saying, I accept you. I accept you as a part of me. I truly embrace you. It's okay that you're there. And I want you to know that it will always be okay if you're there, even till I die. And at the same time, you are not me, the bigger me. You're only a part of me. And I will care for you forever. And as I care for you, it opens up the possibility of my best tenderness and clarity and intention that is needed in the moment to be realized. I can be in a conversation with my lover, my family, my friends, where I have conflict. And this wound doesn't have to take over. Yes, it will be there. But what takes over is your true heart, your wisdom that you're continuously inquiring for wisdom. What do you have to say to me, heart? How do you sound? How do you feel? What do you want to say in this situation? And you need to inquire and ask and maybe even pray for this very best part of yourself to be the one that leads the way in your inner world, alone, by yourself and in the outer world as you communicate with the people that are close to you. So just pause now and feel wound, maybe even partial, wounded identity. I see you, I care for you. And essential heart, the love inside me, the caring inside me, the presence inside me, the receptivity inside me. This is who I am. This is who I want to express, expand. This is who I want to bring into my conversations. This is who I want to bring in to just my inner reality and call on and call for and bring more and more into my moment to moment life. I am dedicated to love my wound, keep it in its place and an ever expanding courage and trust and tenderness and lucidity, clarity of intention as to what I really want, which is goodness and sincerity, truthfulness, enjoyment, peace. And recognize how deep the longing is to bring those qualities into your experience, not only right now, but as much as possible for the rest of your life. It.
