A short guided-meditation transcript that guides listeners to focus attention behind the eyes then into the heart, use gentle self-inquiry about current emotional state, and cultivate acceptance. It then prompts the listener to consider small behaviors and tones (posture, eye contact, speech) that would increase trust and feelings of love, framing this movement toward trust and love as a central life aim.
So just start off by allowing yourself to focus in the midpoint behind your eyes and just sense into that area. And allow yourself to relax and feel a sense of spaciousness. And as you just put your attention there, just let it drop into your heart. And as you feel your heart just as gently as possible, ask yourself how you doing right now? And especially notice a friendly quality of asking yourself how you're doing in a way where you care, where it's enjoyable to ask yourself how you're doing. It's not just the words. It's actually a tenderness, a warmth. You have a sense that there's a best friend in there that is always rooting for you. And it's just asking you, how you really doing now, buddy, how's it going? And no matter what you see inside, whether it's a version of emptiness or fullness or tiredness or being energized or being sad or happy or whatever, the nuance of where you are, embrace it and let it be okay. Because this inquiring voice that's asking you how you're doing doesn't need you to change. It's going to embrace you no matter how you are. And you'll notice that as you breathe in a rhythm that's relaxed for you, it's going to really help you just move into an acceptance of, okay, this is where I am, this is where I'm starting from. And then guide yourself to the question, what's going to allow me to feel the greatest sense of trust and love in my life right now? How am I going to support myself and be supported, to move to the richness and the depth of trust and a feeling of love? What are the little mini actions or tones or movements? The way I walk, the way I talk, the way I make eye contact? What are the little things that are going to make the difference in supporting me to move to what I most long for, which is a sense of trust and love? And even as I hear those words, recognizing that a movement towards trust and love is the fulfillment of my life, Sa.
