Hand on Heart Guided Meditation for Anger

17 May 2011 · 10 min

A single-speaker guided meditation (YouTube) that teaches listeners to recognize, fully feel, and safely transform anger. The practice uses breath awareness and a progressive body-scan, centers the gesture of placing a hand on the heart as an anchor for intention, and invites visualizations and vocal/physical expression (including screaming in safe contexts) to discharge and observe anger without acting out. The session closes by returning to the hand-on-heart and noticing emergent needs (kindness, patience) and increased tolerance/containment.
