Short introductory monologue (YouTube) by Shelley Pearce about the therapeutic process. The speaker emphasizes developing an inner wisdom that accepts vulnerability, accessing authentic feelings, and working with anxiety and life history within therapy. The clip closes with an invitation to contact the therapist to discuss challenges and take the next step together.
I really want to speak to a part of you that knows inherently that things could be different. There is an inner wisdom that can be developed that knows that. Okay, yes. So I have some anxiety right now, but I can work with it, and I know who I am, and I can care for myself and be a more connected person in the world and appreciate the work that I do around the challenging feelings that I have. I think one of the most important aspects of therapy is being able to go into feel, talk about the vulnerable places that are there that often remain private. It allows for peace that you can't find any other way until you can actually be authentic with who you are and what's true for you, that you're always, at some level, running away. I work toward those kinds of experiences in with all of my clients. Part of the process is being able to determine what's right for you. And there is space for all sorts of experience and history and life story and emotions and challenges to be held and worked with. I wish that for you. I encourage you to call me. Let's talk about some of the challenges you're facing and take that next step together. Sam.
