It's really quite amazing. But being aware of our tone of voice is something that our society just hasn't learned how to do. Most of us are really tone deaf. And so one of the practices that we emphasize in humanistic spirituality is the importance of starting to pay closer attention to tone of voice, yours and the people closest to you. And that's a catalyst in learning how to become more sensitive as a human being and also learning how you aren't so sensitive as a human being.
