With the temperatures rising, it's essential to find ways to cool down and maintain our body's temperature. One such way is breathing techniques. These techniques can help you regulate your body temperature, calm your mind, and improve your overall health. Hi, my name is Badrinath Gillah. I am a certified breathing coach and wellness coach by Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. I am the founder of Conscious Breathing Hub, where all the people join together to improve their overall health. If you want to be part of our Conscious Breathing Hub, do not hesitate to contact me. Let us see the 2 important breathing techniques which will help you to maintain your body temperature and instantly cools your body. So which you can practice while sitting on the chair whenever you want, whenever you feel there is a heat in your body. So let's see. Sit comfortably wherever you are. Sit comfortably on your chair. The first breathing we'll do is Sheetkari Pranayama. To practice Sheetkari Pranayama, you just have to clench your teeth and you have to inhale from your mouth slowly and exhale slowly from your nose. So we have to repeat this 5 to 10 times so that you will see the instant coolness. Of your body. But in the winters, do not practice more than 10 times because it aggravates the coolness in your body. It leads to cold and cough. So only do in the limited numbers. So let's sit comfortably, look forward, gently close your eyes, spine erect, clench your teeth, inhale And close your mouth, slowly exhale from your nose. Again, clench your teeth, slowly exhale from your nose. Clench your teeth and inhale. Close your mouth and exhale from your nose. Let's repeat for 2 more times. Slowly keep your eyes closed. Observe the changes. And gently open your eyes. The next breathing we will practice is Chandra Bhedi Pranayama. So as you all know, in yoga we represent our right nostril as Suryabhedi, Surya which means sun, and left nostril is moon. So left nostril is for cooling, right nostril is for generating the heat in our body. So because it's a cooling pranayama, we have to use our left nostril. For this, we have to use Nasika Mudra or Nasagra Mudra. So close your index finger and middle finger and use your thumb finger as well as ring and little finger. With your thumb, close your right nostril. Inhale from your left. Close your left and exhale from your right. Now again close your right and inhale from left. Close your left and exhale from right. If you observe me, I am only inhaling from left and exhaling from right. I am not using my right nostril. I am using my right nostril only for exhalation. You should not inhale from your right. Okay, so only inhale from left and exhale from right. Inhale from left, exhale from right. Always make sure your spine is erect and you are looking forward. Your shoulders and neck is relaxed. So that, let's practice again. Adopt Nasika Mudra. If you cannot use Nasika Mudra, you can also use these two fingers, the thumb finger and index finger. You can close right nostril, inhale from left, close your left, and exhale from right. Ideally, it is suggested to practice 10 times. You will feel instant coolness. If you want to practice, you can also practice 20 times. It's only in the summer. In winters, it is not suggested to practice more number of times. So let's do it for 5 more times. Close your right nostril, inhale from left. Close your left and exhale from your right. Inhale from left again, close your left, and exhale from right. Now close your right, open your left. Inhale from your left. Close your left and open your right. Exhale. 2 more times. Release your hand, keep your eyes closed, observe the changes. Gently open your eyes.
