Holistic Health Summit Day 3

Dr. Murthy outlines a plant-based diet framework with 2-4 cups vegetables, 2-4 cups fruit, and 25% lentils per meal to reverse chronic disease. He links gut health and low-glycemic eating to insulin resistance, PCOD, and heart disease, then covers stress reduction through breathwork and a 10 pm sleep deadline, plus concrete habits like walking 10 minutes after dinner.

not eat the sweet the way it's currently eaten with all milk and dairy products and lot of nuts, calories, and then ghee. You can make sweets even without all of these things and healthy and enjoy those. So these are, I call them the 6 poisons: processed food, sugar, animal products, dairy, refined flour, and gluten. And that's where it starts. And then what do you do? Eat rainbow color foods. And a lot of spices. So in a nutshell, if I have to put for Indians, your plate, half of it should be 2 to 4 cups of sabji per day, 2 to 4 cups of fruits per day, that different, different colors, and then 25% of, you know, lentils like dal, and 25% grains like millets, brown rice. I don't do white rice because again it's processed. Then exercise. Everybody needs to do exercise because that reduces the inflammation. And then breathwork, stress reduction, meditation. Stress is something that you can do breathing. There are a lot of techniques that you can do. It's called emotional freedom technique, like tapping techniques. There are several ways you can reduce your stress. You can learn music, sing, play games, do a hobby. It depends on each person. And most women say my stress is relieved when I go for shopping. Insulin resistance. The best thing is to do is because it causes obesity, fatty liver, blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease. So what is low glycemic, high fiber meals? Eating fiber means eating a lot of dal, and Indians are blessed with so much of dals. And people say, oh, we need to eat paneer for protein. It's a bunch of nonsense and absolute crap. You know what crap means? C-R-A-P. Calorie-rich and processed foods. So paneer is a crap food in my— because it's saturated fat. It's not the best way to get protein. 1 cup of lentils has 15 grams. A woman needs 45 to 50 grams. A man needs 60 grams. So eat 4 cups lentils, both men and women. You have your protein for the day. And walking after meal. So this is the trick to reduce your insulin issues. After each meal, walk for 30 minutes and then sleep. Everybody must sleep by 10:00 PM. Because 10 to 2 is your time when body detox. And if you don't sleep— and sleep regenerates the whole body. And I never used to think of it because I thought I could stay awake. And but I'm— I started changing. But sleep and stress management are the two things. When you do too many things, you're stressed out. So that's where, you know, Patanjali— focus, focus on one thing and do it well. So sleep and stress, if you can fix these things on a daily basis, like, you'll be gold and you can reverse your diabetes. So people, why sleep and stress have a direct effect on diabetes? Because there is a hormone called cortisol that's secreted, and cortisol is what creates fat around the abdomen and it won't go away, and that causes a lot of insulin resistance. and it also deposits a lot of fat in the viscera. Hormones, very, very important, you know. And, uh, uh, we— I'm seeing a lot of young kids in India getting PCOD, and, uh, that is all related to insulin resistance. And then it causes hormone imbalance, and then period changes, infertility, and all those problems. But the root cause is You fix the insulin. And how do you do that? Again, you make sure that you address the stress and then you address the diet. You exercise, sleep by 10:00 PM. A lot of times hormones are because of not sleeping on time. In India, people used to kind of sleep and wake up based on the sunrise and sunset. And that's a good way to follow because your cortisol follows that curve. In the body. And a lot of times we call that endocrine disruptors— the plastics, the, the makeup stuff, the chemicals that you use, sprays— they're all endocrine disruptors, and then they cause problems. So gut, for me, if you want to fix your gut, I tell everybody that 80% of the time you can fix it very easily by moving into whole food plant-based diet. Millets are excellent even for low GI index for diabetes people, and they, along with different colors of vegetables and different colors of fruits, because— and then fiber, which is lentils, gut If the gut microbiome is— wants everything, variety is the spice of life for the gut bacteria. So you need to kind of keep that in. And if you do that, 80% of the time you fix it. But now, even in India, you can check your stool and get the gut microbiome. And then we have supplements that we can give to, uh, reverse the gut leakage. And we have And I do that routinely in my clinic here. And even in India now, you can check your gut. So toxins, very, very critical that heavy metals you can measure and pesticides, try to stay away from those. And plastic cookware, processed food, and then using plastic bags for storage, plastic utensils, cooking in aluminum. All these are problems. So this is one way, and some of— the best ways like expose and sweat a lot that will help you breathing also. That's how you can reduce some of the toxins. I use techniques other than when people can't do it is we do what is called ozone eboo here, and then we actually can remove a lot of toxins that way, and it helps. Epigenetics and stem cell and mitochondrial dysfunction, these all can be reversed by changing how you manage your lifestyle. And I'll kind of talk more about it in detail because I'm getting to my 45 minutes. So if you understand that it's very important that we bring back our old habits by ethical living, personal discipline, physical practice, breath awareness, sensory balance, focused mind, meditation, and meaningful integration and deep well-being. And that's why yoga actually is a perfect place. Yoga has a perfect place in chronic disease care. And what— but this knowledge can be got on internet now. You can go to AI and ask what I just said, but that all gives you the information but doesn't do anything other than just give you the information. But what changes the game is small, repeatable behaviors that you anchor to the daily routine. So the best way to improve your habits is pick up a habit that you enjoy doing and add the new habit to that immediately after that. And then you slowly change and you don't have to change overnight. I have taken 5 years to completely change, but am I perfect? No.
Am I 80%?
Yes. So the point is, if you have a goal and you're going towards that goal, that's how success comes. So try to anchor every new habit to an existing routine, small changes. And every day in the morning, write a gratitude journal and what are the wins and what you could not do, and then try to see if you can implement on that day. So a daily journal will help. So these are the 6 pillars. So I, as I said, in eating and then sleep by 10 PM and then avoid risky substances, tobacco and alcohol and drugs and physical activity. Movement is medicine. It doesn't matter what you, but if you can join an online course, yoga, and then now I see that people are joining yoga and it's easy. Online now. You don't have to go to a gym, but if you can walk in the park, everything works, you know. And stress is trying to kind of— when you, when you manage stress, you manage cravings, hormonal imbalance, and poor self-regulation and inflammation. So social connection in India, we, we divide ourselves. That's how India was conquered by others and outsiders. We are very good at speeches, but we don't follow what we actually preach. We have a lot of things we say, Sanatana Dharma, Vasudeva Kutumbakam, but how many are really putting that into practice and doing it? And there are research done that when you help others is one of the biggest drivers for living long. So in the past, if you look at our village culture, we lived like a community. People exchanged things, people enjoyed the joy. Yes, there was a class system. I don't— I'm not denying that, but there was a lot of joy also. I remember growing up in Hyderabad, in my neighborhood, I used to call everybody uncle, auntie, and a lot of my friendships now are from those days. But right now my apartment is in Narsingi. When I come there, there are 980 apartments. The next person, next door neighbor They just say hello and that's it. Their door is always shut, you know. So social connection, social isolation is a real, real problem. And trying to get your community really helps. It improves adherence, mood, resilience, accountability, and long-term healing. So the way I do prescriptions is we give SMART goals to people. So when I say SMART goal, we give clear instructions. Walk 10 minutes after dinner, 5 days a week. For 2 weeks. Add 1 extra serving of vegetable to lunch for 14 days. Stop screen time 30 minutes before bed. The reason why 8 o'clock, if you sleep by 10, let's say 8 o'clock, you should shut down the screen because blue light comes out from the screens and it goes into your brain and it works on a pineal gland and melatonin and disrupts the sleep. Very important. So 8 to 10, you should really be winding down. And do some breathwork, meditation, walk, and do other things. Read a book. Practice 5 minutes of breathing every morning for 14 days and call or meet one supportive person who you, you like or who you enjoy time with. And you make that. And we kind of give clear instruction how you need to eat, which I spoke about. And what those SMART goals and the fit prescription is like, we say replace one sugary drink with water daily for 2 weeks, fill half the lunch plate with vegetables for 5 days each week, eat beans, dal, or lentils 5 times per week, add one serving. So these are the goals that we create in order to kind of help it easy. And then the prescription that we give is every day because you're all used to taking pills. Right, one tablet in the morning and evening. So this is lifestyle medicine prescriptions. Prepare one healthy meal or swap daily anti-inflammatory, low glycemic, high fiber foods. So that should be the kind that you should follow. Physical activity, again, we give SMART goals and then we give fit prescriptions. Like, the fit prescription usually goes like 3 to 5 days per week you need to do aerobic exercise, which is walking, running, cycling, swimming, yoga. But then, uh, resistance training, lifting weights, is really critical. After 30 years, your muscle starts losing the length, so you need to keep doing some resistance training at least 30 minutes, 2 times a week. And the intensity is 10 to 30 minutes, and you Slowly increase. So we kind of say for people who can't do yoga or who can't do exercise, they can sit, and there is what is called chair yoga that you can do like 5 minutes or 10 minutes. And we give— so sleep is very, very critical. Stop screens 30 minutes before sleep and then practice slow breathing before bed each night. We know that Indians have got what is called yoga nidra. And sleep disruption worsens the insulin resistance, inflammation, mood, blood pressure, and appetite regulation. So a dark room, regular schedule, breathing practice. Don't drink tea after 5 o'clock because some people can get trouble with the caffeine. 1 to 2 cups of coffee in the morning is okay. So stre— So avoid risky— so we say, okay, why don't you reduce cigarettes by 50%, set a quit date. Once you have a quit date, your chances of quitting is very high. So replace the plastics and all that with steel or glass. Alcohol, start avoiding alcohol on weekdays for the next 2 weeks, and then slowly even reduce your indoor biomass and outdoor pollution exposure daily. And you can do positive social connection is one group class, one satsang, eating meals with family, inviting friends, and then saying hello to the people you don't know, helping people you don't know. And that all helps. And if you can do, at least try to have one healthy meal with family 3 times a week. That also changes the game. So the fit prescriptions is this is how we do it, which I already told you. And then we identify each driver and give smart goals and prescriptions. And this is how for, like, if you have a heart disease, we'll say walk 20 minutes after dinner, 5 days per week for 4 weeks. Replace all the fried snacks with nut or fruit. Then breathing, and it should be 5 days per week. Moderate talk, so you should be able to talk when you're walking 20 to 30 minutes, brisk walking. So this is how we give prescription. So that addresses inflammation, insulin resistance, cholesterol, toxins, endothelial function. For diabetes, this is how we kind of say 5 to 6 days, light to moderate, 10 to 30 session walking, resistance, and yoga after each meal. You know, then for blood pressure, again, you give each person— we kind of give this kind of SMART goals and prescriptions. And try to kind of help people to reverse their problems. I'll give you this because it's 10:23. I want to kind of talk actually. So you assess, you give a nutrition plan, practice coaching, my goal, do it, and you monitor people. And we— the way we implement is assess, each patient and figure out what needs to be done, prescribe, and then progress. And then we kind of give a 2-week approach and a 4-week approach, and then we kind of give prescriptions. And so this is all the research that lifestyle medicine can change the game and reverse problems. And when you address those drivers, you fix All the top 10 conditions and one solution. And if I have to repeat myself, uh, for the lifestyle modifications, for nutrition, stop the processed food, sugar, animal products, dairy, refined flour, gluten. And for exercise, 30 minutes for all Um, uh, so somebody wants for respiratory problems, so I'll go back. I mean, I'll share this with you, you can, uh, do it, but I'll— for COPD, because the smoking is a, is a disaster, please stop that. Biomass exposure, a lot of, uh, like even there is radiation, a lot of electromagnetic radiation happens if you have a lot of devices inside the home, and then the air pollution that affects the inflammation and oxidative stress. So what you should do is improve the air quality, improve the breathing patterns, and anti-inflammatory nutrition. I have fixed asthma by actually a lot of people if they stopped all these 6 things, they literally had about 50% reduction of their attacks. And then obviously they slowly did breathwork and improved themselves. And then I don't need to tell you, your own Guruji has reversed his asthma by changing his lifestyle. So the way we do it is you can do 5 minutes of pursed-lipped or diaphragmatic breathing twice. This is what research has shown. For 2 weeks, walk 10 minutes, 5, and reduce smoke exposure. And then 4 to 5 days, light to moderate. You need to— because sometimes COPD, you can't walk, but 10 to 20 minutes and walking and inspiratory muscle training and breathing exercises. The more diaphragmatic pranayama, if you do every day, like for 30 minutes, you'll have a significant improvement in your COPD. Obviously, the important thing is also to reverse the inflammation, and it's a package process. It's not like one thing fits the solution, but predominantly, if you reverse— if you want to reverse things, it's a holistic approach. You got to fix all the drivers and address the problems, and each person is different. So Sleep by 10 PM, eat dinner by 5 to 6, max 7, 7 to 10, because the stomach takes 30 minutes, 3 hours to empty. So if you go to bed with your stomach full, then you get acid reflux. And you— because in the morning I'm, I'm driven, I'm— I have sympathetic drive, but you guys in India are in the parasympathetic mode. You're trying to go to bed. So when you put food at this time, what happens is— it's sad that we have 3 AM biryani, 4 AM biryani now. When you eat at that time, body is in the parasympathetic mode. Digestion, food digestion is all sympathetic. So then that creates inflammation. So that's, that, that's lifestyle. So meditation daily for stress, breathwork daily, and then social relationships. Improve. Social relationships is trying to reach out to people you didn't meet, you don't know, creating new relationships, learning new things. You know, that all changes, uh, the game for you. And, uh, I think I kind of covered it all in a nutshell. So I'll take questions. I hope this was helpful.
Yes, it was powerful, powerful. Everybody, how was the session? And everybody type it in the chat box, or like you can unmute and tell us. Like, so let's see. Let's hear from them.
Yeah, thank you, sir. Very helpful, sir.
Thank you so much, sir.
Very helpful, sir.
Thank you for lots of knowledge about.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Stomach is full now.
Thank you, sir.
Am I right?
Thank you.
Perfect, perfect. I think, uh, people are pouring the gratitude in chat box. You can check the chat box, uh, doctor. And thank you, thank you so much. More than 950 people have attended, uh, today, like, uh, to know about these practices. And these are If they adapt, I'm telling you, before you come for the next session in our community, I'm sure they'll see a lot of changes. Am I audible, doctor? Yes. Okay, perfect. So yeah, so I'm sure like they'll see a lot of changes if they really adapt whatever you have said. And I hope like, uh, I— you will not end this session by just like hearing to doctor, and you will also implement whatever the doctor has mentioned. And one of the important factors, like most of the things we are learning in CBH, also one of the important factors doctor has mentioned is social connection. That's why, how many of you remember, in Diamond Membership I told all of you, you talk to at least 10 people. And how important it is for you to come to the retreats. I hope you have seen the video, doctor, the retreat video which I've shared, like the energy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I was listening to Mamta's story and all, it was pretty amazing.
Yeah, yeah. So like meetups, when you come there, like you'll meet the new people, like-minded people. Nowadays, today, people have a lot of conflicts with neighbors. It has been told that in India, 90% of the people, they don't like their neighbors. They have problems with their rivals, right? So how many of you have problems with your neighbors? So like, find the right community, find the right people, be part of our meetups, be part of our potlucks, be part of our like offline things. Breakout rooms— be open in breakout rooms, go and discuss. Don't just be behind that camera, behind the laptop. You go and discuss. I'm giving opportunity every Sunday in breakout room. Connect with the members, talk to the people. So very, very important. You may, uh, like think that the PPT has been shared in the chat box, you can save that PPT. So you can go to the chat box and save. And, uh, so yeah, so you may take it normal, but how important this is, you don't understand. These are the small things. You may think that I know this. By knowing, you will not get any result. Only when you implement, you will get the result, right? So before we go forward to the questions, uh, doctor, let's take one picture. Thumbs up.
Yes, yes.
Thank you, thank you, doctor.
Yeah, I just wanted to tell, there was one question that somebody said, is there cure for rheumatoid arthritis? Yes, so I forgot because that reminded me. So people with autoimmune problems is underlying inflammation. So that is when you eat good food also, the digestion, whatever happens in the body, you get inflamed. But when you eat a lot of meats and all that, you get more inflammation. When you eat whole food plant-based diet, Satwik diet, Indians used to say Satwik diet. There is less inflammation. And we used to eat, before all this cooking came, a lot of raw vegetables. So rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune people, please try to incorporate a lot of raw vegetable diet. And if you can do a lot of raw vegetable diet, you will see a lot of changes. And again, I showed the 6 poisons. Try to get away from those things. So your inflammation If there is a long inflammation in the body, then the immune system starts getting activated. Then the immune system— where is the immune system? In the gut. So whatever lifestyle, your gut changes, then the immune dysfunction happens, and then it starts creating chemicals in the body that after a while your body starts getting confused and says, oh, these are foreign things, I need to protect my body. And then it attacks your own body. That is autoimmunity. So it's very simple. So reduce the inflammation, everything gets set. You know, that is the key for driver, and you need all those 6 pillars to be followed every day. That's— but I forgot about that raw food thing which helps inflammation. But colors, a lot of color vegetables, you know, uh, rainbow, rainbow. Remember the rainbow. When you put your— when you see your— when you plate, it should look like a rainbow.
Yes, absolutely awesome. Thank you, thank you so much, Doctor. And also, all the people, we just wanted to announce something that like, uh, with the Dr. Moti, like, uh, with his guidance, we are also starting some of the programs for the Diamond members for now. And also, we are starting one common program for everybody, is like sleep apnea reversal. Like, we are planning to do a pilot project on that. So right now, with the doctor's knowledge and whatever, uh, we can do the sleep apnea reversal program. In case if anyone is interested for that, so you can apply, apply here. So we'll be selecting only few members. You can click on this link and apply for this, and the doctor's team will reach out to you in case if, if they select you for this program. Of course, it's a paid program. They will let you know, they'll have a separate call for you to understand what are the requirements and everything. Accordingly, they'll tell you. Can you please talk about like what exactly this, um, program, Doctor.
Yeah, thank you for that.
I have already shared the form in the chat box, so please click on the link and fill the form first. Yeah, please go ahead, Doctor. Thank you. Sorry.
So when I learned all these things, I was surprised that none of this is taught to us in medical school, and the doctors who are specialists, they don't have a clue. So I said, this is what I should do for the rest of my life. So you might be wondering, why am I doing it in India? The book that I wrote, Live Well: 8 Habits to Health— I have two cookbooks, International Disease Reversal, and there's an Indian Disease Reversal Cookbook also. Why am I doing it in India is my heart is in America, but my soul is in India. So I want to change that book. Last time everybody said make Bharat healthy again. That's what I want to do. That's what I want to give back to India. So I was trying to do this, and one of the ENT doctors in Hyderabad visited my lecture, and he wanted me to mentor his son. So I— because his son wanted to do only healthcare, not sick care. So, uh, this is called Nova ENT Hospital in Erramanzil in Hyderabad. Dr. Mohan Reddy, and they gave us a space hearing my vision. And he said, you need to do something that I am struggling with because I do surgery for sleep apnea, but then again they don't get better because they didn't change their lifestyle. So it is run jointly by the ENT doctors and me. He has— he's also very ethical and very conscious about making an impact and change and difference. So he suggested we start doing this. So I have a health coach in India, in Hyderabad, and health coach here in America. So we formed a little team and we are trying to kind of see if we can help sleep apnea patients. And that's how we picked sleep apnea. But we can So we did a pilot with him and there is an ENT doctor and the ENT doctor now is like, she lost weight, she is eating the new way and her son also got better and now she's advocating for this. So we are trying to pilot this and I met Badri in October and when I told him about this, he said, you know, you have so much knowledge, let's share this knowledge. And he's been encouraging me because I want to do something very impactful in India. And that's the reason we are doing this sleep apnea. And I really want to thank Badri for all this mentoring he's doing, even though I'm older than him. But he has done a tremendous job of getting the community together. And so when I suggested to him, he said, let's try this pilot. Within our community. Is that a good segue, Badri?
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, exactly. We are, we are super, super excited and also blessed to have that, your expertise. Uh, it's very rare to find medical doctors who are, uh, encouraging the lifestyle medicine. And again, I'm sharing the form, dear friends, so please make sure that, like, um, uh, like, please make sure you are like— don't let me— like, let me give Again, the Sleep Apnea Reversal Program link. So please use this and make sure that you are filling that. And we are also planning many, many other initiatives, especially for the Diamond members and whoever is going to take the Diamond membership. Like, you are going to also have some special sessions we have planned and some of the special programs we have planned. And also, most of the programs we, we run in the Diamond membership— like, right now we are launching acidity reversal program, thyroid program, and we also take the feedback from other doctors also. It's not just like we are launching simply. We take feedback and we go, go through it a lot and launch these programs, right? So which is going to start from next week. Some of the programs are starting from next week. Yes, perfect, perfect. So here is a link, uh, like, um, so like, and doctor, like, do you have some more time or like you have to leave because it's already 8 o'clock.
Yeah, yeah, I'll take questions because somebody is raising hands, so I would really love to.
Great, great. So before they go to the all these questions, can you please tell us some case study, one case study where you have helped the people with lifestyle medicines? Because, um, there are so many.
Why don't I take, why don't I take Radhika, uh, the ENT doctor herself? She actually had sleep apnea. She's a doctor.
Okay.
So she had PCOD from childhood, then sleep apnea, had surgery, but still not well. So we came in. I told her, I looked at the labs, and she's like, some of the labs nobody asks here. So her B12 was low, her vitamin D was low. So we increased B12 to 800. I increased the vitamin D to 80, okay? And then I did her hormones, which were all abnormal. She's young, you know, she's in her 40s, you know. So there is— she had very high estrogen, which means that the body is not taking the estrogen away. And when you have high estrogen, you will, you'll never be able to lose weight. So you detox the liver. So we gave her diet approaches to detox the liver. I gave her supplements to detox the liver. So then things started moving. I gave her weight loss injections for a short time, like I told, only 3 months. Her lifestyle— she has a child who has autism, okay? So there is no sleep for her. So we slowly— I fixed— they did gut health. I I fixed, try to help the child change the way they are eating. So Sirisha, she's a doctor, MBBS doctor, but lives in California. She gave a diet plan, no salt, no oil, whole food plant-based diet, you know. So she followed strictly and they taste well. And I'm going to put for you guys to go into SiriShya's website. This is all free. You can go and look up all the plantbasedlosangeles.org, all the recipes. So then Radhika found very useful because she didn't know how to cook. How can she do all this? So once she started that, then she started realizing losing weight. And then the injections, she actually— we agreed for 3 months, but she took only for 1 month. And once she started doing, the second month she did it, and then she stopped because she changed lifestyle. She's able to sleep well. She's so— and all her numbers, it's called the inflammatory markers, CRP, was high. Now it is back to normal. So that is how— I mean, I'm putting it in a nutshell quickly, uh, because for her to exercise, to do everything, is not possible. You know, because she has an autistic kid, she works 4 hours and then goes back home and takes care of the kid, you know. So, but within that, so we asked to take the son also outside and play with him outside, not inside the house. And that helped in the nearby park, you know. And then he started making friends in the park, and then his behavior helped a little bit. And she noticed that when she— when the boy eats bad food, like packaged foods, his behaviors go bad. The gut is directly linked with brain through vagus nerve, and ADHD and autism, these are all related to gut. So that's what we did, you know, and we gave probiotics to help. But the easiest way to do probiotics is, you know, the pickles that we do. And try to kind of use very, very minimal salt, but try to kind of use other ways to make fermented products, you know. And yogurt is one thing, but again, dairy has been corrupted in India with the hormones and antibiotics and all that. But if you have a cow that you— then yogurt is another good— but you have to understand it's saturated fat, so you got to worry about that too. So we made all these changes in Radhika, and now she— you heard her, right, Padri, in our meeting, what she—
Yes, yes, yes, yeah, I saw, I saw that. I saw, like, that's why I'm repeating the same thing. Yes.
So you know that we did this. And again, if for all the people who are on the call, I'm very passionate about this, and if I can help— and the reason I'm doing it in India is not to create wealth but to create difference. I don't need any more wealth in my life. I have enough wealth in America that I've worked hard, and my wife is a doctor. We are all very happily settled, but I really want to make an impact on people. That's my goal.
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for sharing that, um, Doctor. And I will take one hand raised. Yes, go ahead, Sujata Ji, please unmute yourself.
Namaste, Dr. G. Namaste, sir. Friend. Oh, very good. Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so much. Thank you so much. So I'll take some questions in the form, we can quickly go, uh, one by one answer. Um, so doctor, the first question is, can eggs be eaten every day?
Eggs have a chemical called phosphatidylcholine. When gets digested, forms what is called TMAO. TMAO, trimethylamine oxide. What it does is it takes cholesterol and puts it in the blood vessel. So that's the reason it's not good to eat eggs. And each egg has 300 milligrams of cholesterol. So when you eat eggs a lot, that's what you'll see— your cholesterol goes up, your risk for heart disease. So how much is safe? Maybe 1 to 2 per week is good. People say, oh, egg is the best protein. If you say you need protein, a lot of people You know, in the past, at least in America, milk was the most allergic substance. Now eggs have taken over because eggs in India also are corrupted because they're all chemically— and they have shortened the life of the chicken and they're artificially doing a lot of things to create eggs. So that's the reason, uh, animal products you stay away from and you can react to it. And I've seen that when I introduced eggs in patients, I got a lot of problems back, you know. So eat 1 to 2, especially if you know it's your own chicken. Let's say you're raising chicken in your backyard and you know the eggs. Yeah, eat 1 to 2, uh, it's okay, you know.
Got it. I'm 12 years old, can I start implementing lifestyle changes at this age?
Absolutely. You are, you're at the best. You got best bang for the buck to implement lifestyle now, you know. You should always do it. So it is called compound interest. So you will have the most compound interest in your life. So keep doing it. And I'm glad, I'm so proud of you that you attended this lecture. Please, please, I did not know all this. I'm being very honest with you. I'm 58 years old. Until 52 years, I didn't have a clue what I was speaking to you guys this morning. When I went to Harvard, I learned about this And I said, it's unfortunate. I was a professor, I taught in the university. If I don't know this, how will normal patients know this? So that is the reason I made this. I changed. And if you can see, I don't have a belly now. Earlier I used to have a belly like this. And I said, I need to change first before I preach, you know. So I'm being very honest with you. Please change your lifestyle. And all research has shown it takes 3 to 6 months to see benefits. And once you see them and you keep doing— so lifestyle medicine is about progress, not perfection.
It's true, very powerful point, powerful point. And also 3 to 6 months difference, remember that. Okay, so suffering from chronic ILD more than 6 years now, doctor says it's progressive and not curable. Only manage the symptoms. Is it curable? What should I do?
Yes, yes. If you have what is called regenerative medicine, uh, if you kind of— first of all, in interstitial lung disease has underlying lot of inflammation and there is a lot of lung fibrosis and all that, scar tissue and all that. So breathing exercises helps. My 6 diet changes, fixing all the lifestyle. And I can tell you, my, my friend's mom had this in Hyderabad. I changed a lot of pills and I made her do pranayama. She's Brahmakumari. She, uh, put her on the right medication now, and now she's able to go and attend the Brahmakumari satsang. So if you have money and if you can do more ebullient-magnoliant, it's called extracorporeal blood ozone oxygenation. Ozone therapy also helps with reversing the oxidative stress, inflammation, and all that. And then stem cells, we call that stem cells and exosomes. When you give that also, some of the— can I, can I guarantee 100%? No. When I don't have any medical problem, my life is not 100%. I can go out of the house and get hit by a truck and die. I don't know. So I don't have any guarantees, but I can tell you, if you do all this regenerative medicine stuff, but first fix the lifestyle, that's the basis. So I do in my clinic what is called platelet-rich plasma, wherein I take your blood, spin it, and inject it into the joints, and it regenerates the joint for arthritis and all that, tennis elbow. So if the patients don't have a good lifestyle, their results are not good. When patients have lifestyle good, the results are good. So you can do this, like stem cells, exosomes, but these are all called regenerative medicine, and you will get a lot of relief and reversal. Ozone therapy, all this.
Thank you, thank you, Doc. So before I go forward, I want all of you to open your app and share your takeaways under this, and I would like to know, I would like to read, and I also want to send this to doctor also. So please go ahead. I have shared the link in the chat box as well as I have shared in the app. So open your app and share your takeaways under this. Already some people have shared, so please go ahead and share your takeaways, all the people whoever is here. And my next question to you, Doctor, also please let me know whenever, uh, like, uh, the time ends so that, um, I can stop asking. And what are the healthy proteins I can take?
Yeah, proteins. Yeah, proteins. And, uh, uh, there is— I don't know why I'm just thinking it's God's work. Shivit Tripathi asked this question about gallbladder stones. And he doesn't want to get operated. He's taking homeopathic, Ayurvedic. So how many of you think you can take away, take away gallstones by— but no relief? So the reason is cholesterol is the reason for gallstones, and eating a lot of fatty foods is the cause of— so we have in medicine The 5 or 4 Fs: fat, female, fertile, 40. So this is when you get gallstones because there is a lot of changes that happen. So first, you need to lose weight if you're a gallstone person. Second, you need to change the way you practice your lifestyle. So third, you're eating a lot of fat diet, so you got to get away from that. So the point is, if you want proteins, people think meats are the proteins, they're good proteins. No wonder. No, no, I mean, I'm not arguing that it's a very good protein, bioavailable and all that, but it comes with added risk. Like, it's got a lot of saturated fat. When you eat meat, it goes inside the body and gets digested. I'm going to name 3 chemicals. One is called heterocyclic amines and one is called activated glycated end products. These both cause cancer. TMAO, which I just said about eggs, even meats, when they get digested, they cause— then that takes the cholesterol and puts it. So you see heart disease and cancer going up in our country. That's the answer. So proteins, as I said, like tofu, is now coming into Indian diet too, which is from soybeans. But Indians have lentils. You can eat one lentil today, tomorrow another lentil, for the rest of your whole year you can change the lentils. Eat 4 cups, which will get you the protein. You don't need more protein. You know, if you do more protein, you end up with kidney disease because kidneys have to adjust the protein and excrete the protein and all that. So that's the way. And try to try like pumpkin seeds, okay? Pumpkin seeds have 30 grams of protein. So eat natural stuff, you know, and that gives you enough protein for the day. I think this is— and for the man with gallstones, after you lose weight, if you're still having issues, Then probably you look at if your gallbladder is emptying well or not. If you are not emptying well, then you have a problem there. That's— then you can't do anything. You got to kind of talk about trying to kind of take the stones out. And then sometimes what we do is we give bile acids that also help. And there are some herbs. I don't know what herbs. You, you— so you use them. And the important thing is to completely take away fat from your diet and see. Got it.
Perfect, doctor. And I'm suffering with utricaria.
Your urticaria. So urticaria is allergic reaction to anything. And what they do is they have a lot of rashes of varying sizes all over the body. And again, it is a hypersensitivity. It could be toxins that you have. It could be the foods that you're eating. It could be the chemicals that you're using outside on the body. You know, it could be the air. You know, sometimes in India we don't care about wetness. If you have wet areas, then it can create mold, and you inhale mold, then you are allergic things start. So you need to figure out why you are getting urticaria. And there are things called mast cells in the body that are responding. So the person who is having urticaria, why don't you take a pen and write on your hand one letter M and see afterwards if it shows up? It's called dermatographism. Then you have mast cell dysfunction. So there are several causes for urticaria. But I have seen that— I have a friend who had psoriasis, and when he stopped all these 6 things that I just told you— processed food, sugar, animal products, dairy, refined flour, and gluten. And it's funny that when I say animal products, people come and ask me, oh, can I eat paneer? I mean, that kind of makes me wonder What are they hearing? So people want to hear what they want to hear, you know. Anything that comes from the animal is a disaster, okay? So you— I can go on arguing with you why in the past they ate ghee. This, that is all good for discussion, I'm telling you. But the old days were different. Nowadays is different. So if you want to eat ghee, yes. They never drank ghee like what we're doing now, fried things in ghee. They just ate little bit of ghee to flavor things. If they ate meat, it was 10 people in the family, there was one animal, and everybody got a little piece. But now I can just buy the whole biryani for myself, you know, one whole chicken for myself, you know, because I can afford it. Those days it was not like that. So let's not go into that arguing things, you know, just do simple things that you can change. For the person with urticaria, I think you should get some blood test Get your immunoglobulins checked and then do allergy testing, and then try to stay away from these 6 things, and then slowly see what is causing. And you can write a diary or journal to see when you are getting this urticaria, and then you can figure it out.
Great, thank you, Doctor. I am underweight since childhood. Recently I lost few more kgs due to a repeated infection. I have about 7 to 10 kgs less weight from the ideal weight. How can I increase my weight in a healthy way to prevent the infection?
I don't know what the site of infection is. You want to kind of say where you are getting the infection? It is an immune problem, you know. Yes, when you get infections, it means that your immune system is not working well. And, uh, if she's really following good lifestyle And, uh, it depends like where she's getting the infection from. So let's say she's getting urine infection and she's menopause, then you need to give some estrogen to kind of prevent the recurrent urine infections, you know. But I can tell you, ozone therapy that I've recently started— so, so diabetes is the one that, uh You got infections that— because the white blood cells don't act so well, it's called lazy leukocyte syndrome. So to reverse diabetes, do these 3 things, at least minimum. Stay away from all the animal products. Take away the oil in your diet. Just eat fruits and vegetables and millets and lentils as much as you want. Try to cook your food without oil, and stay away from animal products. Just do this for 1 month for me and see what, what happens to you.
Awesome. Thank you, thank you so much, doctor. So to reverse heart disease with cholesterol, kindly, uh, let us know what other things I have to do.
Well, cholesterol again is predominantly in the diet. At least And then once you fix the diet first, then you can then start looking at— the reason I think I come back to diet, diet, diet, diet, diet is we do that every day, you know. So we have the power to control what we should and we should not take, and that's where it all starts first. And once you understand, then we do a test to see what the particle size is. And then for heart disease, I would say, you know, pomegranate, uh, so eat 2 cups daily for a heart disease patient. And for cholesterol, you should eat a lot of low GI index foods like millets, and then eat a lot of fiber. Like lentils, beans, you know, and then eat a lot of green leaf vegetables, colors like beetroot. Beetroot is very good for heart disease. It improves the nitric oxide in the blood, you know, and improves the function in the lining of the blood vessel. So I mean, I can't— but these are the things. Doing a whole food plant-based diet and meditation every day helps. Breathwork helps. You know, there is research on all these things, you know, and smoking alcohol helps. Cholesterol is not the only cause for heart disease. That is gone. If you have high cholesterol, there are people who have familial— we call that familial hypercholesterolemia— they don't get heart disease. They have very good lifestyles. They have— but it is one of the key factors that initiates, but underlying is inflammation. So Go to an anti-inflammatory lifestyle.
Yeah, awesome, awesome. I think pretty much we have covered most of the things. Uh, most of them are repetitive questions, doctor. And, uh, thank you, thank you so much. And I'm super, super excited. All the people, I hope you have filled the form, uh, which doctor has shared. Now we are going to start another session on Reiki healing as well. And, uh, so thank you so much, doctor, once again.
And thank you again for inviting me and Uh, the people I can see is Vijay Garu, Jay Jyoti, Banda, Meenakshi, that I can see on the screen. Thank you all for attending.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Thank you, thank you. Thank you, thank you so much. Gayatri Garu, Anil, Major Satish, Major Saab, namaskar. Thanks for your service for the country.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so much, Doctor. And, uh, like, we really enjoyed your session. And thank you so much for taking your time and joining from US. I know that you are busy today, working day for you, and still you have taken time. And I might have to again ask you for some other day, yoga day especially.
And sure, absolutely, anytime, anytime.
Yes, yes, yeah. Thank you, thank you so much for being there for our community always. And consider this as your community as well. And we are absolutely— thank you, thank you, thank you for saying bye now. By now everyone is familiar about you. They are looking forward, they are looking forward to your sessions.
Okay, and they can, you know, if, if people have questions, you know, and topics, I'll be happy to take one topic and teach as well. Yeah, I'll come to you, give practical solutions for them.
Okay, yes, yes, yes, yes, perfect, perfect. Thank you, thank you so much, Doctor, and see you again. Thank you once again. And everybody, please keep sharing, uh, in the, in the in the portal. Okay, thank you, doctor.
Thank you, bye. Yes, perfect.
And, uh, thank you, thank you so much. See, you cannot directly contact Dr. Motti, uh, because, um, like, he lives in US. His consultation alone cost $250, which is almost to the 20,000, um, rupees to 25,000 rupees in US. And, um, um, Yeah, but like, of course, like whenever he comes here, you can talk to him and you can ask some of your questions. And we'll let you know in case like you can enroll for that program which he is doing along with some Indian doctors here, uh, like the sleep apnea, in case if you wish to be part of sleep apnea program. Um, so like that you can connect with him, but directly like approaching him, um, I don't think It's possible at this moment because he's already busy with his clinic, his clinic and whatever is happening in the US. And also in the Diamond Membership, as I said, like we have planned special sessions and also like discounted programs, uh, for you, uh, from the, um, from Dr. Murthy. Whatever we are going to run, we are going to plan. Okay, so in case if you are still not applied for the Diamond Membership, so, and how many of your Diamond members relate to whatever Dr. Murthy is saying? Like your lifestyle modifications have done, and we have been emphasizing this. Go ahead, Bandhanaji. So what would you like to share?
Yeah, I think whatever he has said, most of— except this dairy product, I think I, I include everything. I don't take sugar, I don't take processed food, no maida, no gluten, no animal products. So I think I have to go stop the dairy because yeah, as we all know that we think that paneer is really high protein and all, which today I learned actually paneer is not that great, but we have a lot of dals and lentils. I think that we should start consuming.
Yes.
So that is what I think we should start implementing now. Just hearing will not do. I think we should start now implementing the things now. And screen thing is also very important. But I, that I don't know how to reduce it because my job is only to sit in front of the screen. So I don't know that.
But taking care of your eyes, taking care of your eyes, working on it is most important.
I have started doing your exercise whenever I have time. So I do that. One more thing, sir, I just want to tell you here, which I have already sent a message. That you have— I do the blood pressure challenge recording what you have done it. So I whenever— I mean, normally after my offline yoga, I do that, and then come up. So one day I heard you saying that those people who are not getting the result, they are not doing it correctly, or they are— and that stuck me and said, How can I am such a disciplined person? How can it not affect me? Help me. Then I realized I started actually analyzing my body. My ankle was swollen like a small potato. I could, I had to increase my shoe size to 8 number. But suddenly I realized that when I went to buy shoes, it became 7. That means it has helped me. My eyes, I, whenever I used to go to the airport, I used to tell my husband, let's go one hour, because I won't be able to walk. Now nothing, I am walking, I am walking almost 5,000 to 7,000 steps. So these are small, small things which we don't notice. We only notice how my blood pressure has come down, my sugar has come down. But there are overall, I have experienced that there are overall improvement in my body, actually. I don't take a nap nowadays. And one more thing I have done to my— in my office, you had given a small card, 21 days breathing problem, breathing practice. I have laminated it, I have made 20 copies and have stuck in each of my staff softboard so that they do it every day, at least for 5 to 2 minutes to 5 minutes. So that Those things, small, small things actually really help, sir. It's not that I have to do all big, big things, but the small things, if it becomes a part of my life, it helps a lot. So that is what I wanted to tell. Thank you, sir.
Thank you, thank you so much. What about, like, all the people? I just want all of you to acknowledge whatever the positive things you are saying. So when your mind is only things which are not there for you, and you will attract the same things. Once you start moving your attention to whatever you are getting, then you will get— you'll start getting more, more, more and more of the things. And also, we have to understand all our visible problems are due to our invisible problems, which we don't really give attention to. Our invisible problems turn into visible problems. So like, we have to observe that and like make sure that like we are implementing all of those and considering those invisible problems and implementing those things. Thank you, thank you so much for that idea. Good idea. That, like, you are— how you are, uh, you have stick to that to the table. That's a good idea for me now. And, uh, sure, like, I'm sure, like, it's going to— like, I'll, I'll tell the same to other companies also, whoever is approaching me.
Thank you.
And what do you think, like, for the people who are thinking about Diamond membership and all?
Diamond member, I think you should not delay anymore. It, it has really helped me. See, I was a Silver member in January, but February 23rd I jumped into Diamond and it's a visible improvement. If you scan your body, if you just focus on your main problems, then it might take time. But if you focus on your overall body, you will find a lot of improvement. And I think that— see, I am 60 now. Okay, but these things helped me so much. Nobody will tell me that I'm 60. Because I have implemented. It's not that I just hear, sir, and then I said, okay, I've heard it. Let's not do it. I have done my job and was in camera and I did it. No, you start implementing slowly, slowly, at least implement 10% what we learn. And yoga, what he teaches, I think should be a part of our life. And in Diamond, we are having so many things. Sometimes I get confused what to do because it's all so— I mean, I want to do everything. Because there is one acidity problem, there is one thyroid thing, there is one blood pressure, there is— and the best part is the practice session which is happening. If you can attend that practice session after the morning session of Sir, it will help you a lot with your knee pain, with your joint pain and things. So I would suggest, please, please, please, if not now, you will be losing, but please try to think about Diamond and get into the Diamond Membership. It is— there are a lot of courses are happening and you can pick and choose what you want. Yes, but as per your requirement, you can pick and choose. So please get into this Diamond Membership as soon as possible. And now you have that EMI scheme also.
Yes, so that financial part payment is there that much. Yes, so please get into it. Thank you, thank you so much. And also Dr. Murthy has said like, thank you so much, thank you so much, Bandhanaji. Everybody type MPTY to her. And he said, Dr. Muthu said one wonderful thing, compound interest, right? So compound interest. So whatever you are like learning here will be interesting, and like in the future you will see a lot of returns from that. Yes, thank you, thank you so much, thank you so much. More power to you, uh, Bandhanaji. And, um, so next let me bring like, how, how many of you things have you implemented? Go ahead.
You want to say something?
So I want to first of all thank you for always remembering each of us, how big your community is, and you still make time for us. And which makes me more responsible and tell you very honestly, all of you, that it's, uh, you know, human beings, as human beings, we, we do good things and then we do, don't do consistently. I have really feel that, you know, when you say you handhold us at our lows, like I, I have lost weight. That's the biggest plus in CBH for me, and that has a chain reaction with many of my activities and my mindset. Mindset. There are other lows which, which I need to address because like doctor said, and you know, you said 3 days ago, implementation, discipline, practice. So as human beings, we need to be like a witness of ourselves, and you help us by showing like a mirror from time to time when people feel that, you know, how can we sit for 3 hours Badri sir keeps doing so many things. Yesterday you spoke so passionately, and I feel that if I fall sick or I'm beginning to not feel my 100%, you won't let me go down, you know, sir. The thing is, your periodic workshops aligned with the world consciousness business health parameters and the experts you get in, there's no way, uh, we can fail. Maybe not 100%, but I am a better person than my earlier self 6 months ago. One, I've lost my weight. I tell to every CBH member aspiring to be a Diamond, please don't hesitate And I'm really not canvassing for Badri Sir because his philosophy is now what's reigning. You know, he is a medium which is beyond his human body, his persona, the philosophy of CBH that is going to continue because we can see the benefit. No, today I saw the food plate of some of my colleagues and I realized I don't have all the answers. I do good things. I pat my back. I know I'm doing things honestly or almost honestly. But what CBH does is it not only handholds you, it gives you to look in your conscience and as a witness that you got to be a better version of yourself as much as you can in this lifetime. So I say, really, whether I have disturbed sleep sometimes in the night, or I sleep late and my circadian rhythm gets affected, but my morale— being with CBH, you can see I can never feel that I am going to, you know, not succeed in what I want. I'm a bronchitis asthma patient for almost 20-odd years, but I don't call myself a patient now because I'm just using the inhaler maybe once a day. And the breathing, when you don't get sleep, the box breathing or whatever aligns with Sir's teaching that matches your body, please do it, you know, because there are so many stories here. Satish ji, Kashi ji. I mean, I feel overwhelmed that, you know, I have so much more to do. And I think sometimes when we feel low or we are not, you know, doing everything what others are doing, then this part which the doctor sahab said, Murthy sir, and even sir reiterated, to be social, to be connective, to help others, makes you forget your problems for some time. And I think we need to come out of our filter bubble and do things for the community. I really wish I get an opportunity to serve the community so that I don't keep thinking about my problems all the time, and they'll be much smaller in this universe. You know, that's about all I can say, but I really feel anybody who's thinking in doubt you know, should I, shouldn't I. I invested my capital as a visiting faculty for Diamond membership without taking my husband's help, though he's very supportive of me. And I feel tenfold, what, manyfold I've got back from CBH, and it's my turn to give back now.
Yeah, thank you, thank you so much for inspiring all of us. I'm grateful to have people like you also. Thank you so much for always being in session and, um, encouraging all the members and attending all the sessions.
Thank you, sir, for being you and helping us all the time so, so selflessly.
Thank you. So one thing I always tell you is everything you cannot implement at a time. It becomes very, very tough for you. And also you need somebody who can monitor you while you're implementing. Right now we got a knowledge, but while you're implementing, you will get lot of questions. So whether I'm doing right or wrong, whether the portion size is correct or not, whether can I eat this or not, considering your blood reports, considering what you're going through in your life. So there are various factors which are considered. That is what I wanted you to understand. It's not like, okay, uh, you, you stop eating all the like carbohydrates and only eat millets. So that has to be analyzed. Even if somebody goes to Dr. Moti He'll not just— because somebody said something, he'll not implement immediately. Sleep, exercise, and everything is fine, at least some of the sense, in some level. When it comes to food or anything, you need somebody who can handhold you, monitor you, and check. Go ahead, Sreenivas. Yes, please unmute yourself.
Yeah, hi, Badriji. Last time you came here, I missed to meet you. Sorry about that. And every time, every time we, we have this session now from Murthy ji. It is a, it's a motivation. I'm actually low now, but now I'm going to double down on intensity and go further with all this plan that he has shared with us. So last time we talked about the hormones and the importance of protein and also the grip strength exercise, the aging factor he talked about. And this time he has gone much deeper. And thanks for that PPT, we'll go through that. And again, and my health parameters have improved in all aspects. Actually, I'm so happy. My weight has reduced and the HbA1c has also come down below 5.6 and everything. Wow. Everything has improved. And also the mobility exercises that Murthy just talked about last time. I have some lower back problem. So for that, sitting in a squat position, that was a huge— hugely benefited from that simple exercise. Sitting from 1 minute, 2 minutes, like that I can go for now 12 minutes also. I can't thank you enough for the thing that you are doing for the community. Every time these guest lectures, they again motivate us and bring us back to that same rhythm and all the stuff. All the little changes that I have taken, I'm hugely benefited from that. And it's not that you cannot do yoga at this age or something. First thing is sunlight and water, but just following the hydration and the sunlight. I have sleep problems, going to bed irregularity. So for that, just following morning, staying in sunlight for 20 minutes and maintaining that breathing exercises and all that stuff. Whatever I could do, I did, and I got benefited. And I can go further now with this. I mean, just by doing fasting and following the diet, we can lose weight, but that is not a healthy way of losing weight. So we were also in that food plate sharing. There also, ma'am is watching the protein. It's just, uh, you just cut down on the portions, but we compromise on proteins, right? So again, today also you talked about lentil and good source of protein, not just eggs. And say again, for protein, I, I had the problem, so I choose eggs and then tofu. And now he said, you know, go back to lentil again. So I will go back to lentils again. And I had vitamin problem, that is also slowly improving. B12 is improving, D is improving. So next time when I share with you, I'll be totally all right, and it will be, you know, topped up to the normal level, I think. So it has improved my internal wellness so, so well. And I'm—
can you tell us how many kilos have you lost?
86.22. 78.2. 86.6 to 78.2. Okay, okay, almost, um, like, uh, 8 kilos more than it was from November 5th onwards. So when I joined your course, I was already at that, uh, you know, level. I don't need you to check on whether I'm doing things or not. I did everything, I did everything, all that was suggested, and I, I did more than what was suggested also. 16 hours, 18 hours fast, because I was so looking to get over all the problems. I told you, right? I was— August month was the, the lowest point in my life. So I was able to come back to normal, and I'm so indebted to the community. I also want to contribute like Anita ji said. So when you come out of that filter bowl or the bubble or the zone, you will get a better— become a better person, and you will also get benefit in the process. So I'm in that level of mindset now. Thanks.
And let's even see how much it was before.
Before it was like, uh, 5 point something, 5.6, around that. Now 5.6.
Now before, before how much?
It was 6, I think, 6.0.
Okay, okay, pre-diabetic, pre-diabetic.
Okay, yeah. And I was comfortable doing all the things that was, uh, I followed the nutrition one-to-one, uh, what was whatever was shared earlier. They said one roti. I was like, you know, this plan is going to fail, it's not going to work. But that did wonders actually, the portion control. So I know everybody's aware.
We have to— I saw, I saw your meal plates, like they are beautiful, they're beautiful.
So any, any educated person can check on the internet and see what the minute is, but we lose control on the portions and It's so nice and we are sharing the plates. Ma'am is checking and this control cut down from 3 to 2. And we are thinking that we are already at that level, but little bit here and there, like fruit, if you go a little above 100 grams, no, this seedless grape that we eat 250 grams in one go, those are too sweet and we have to have a control. I mean, it's not about the knowledge, it's also the practice and staying with the, uh, the group. And it's all multiplier, multiplying thing actually. Whatever little things that we do. The hydration also, earlier I, I take very little water, 1.5 liters. Now I take 3.5 some days. So because of dry skin, I used to have, uh, the, the burning on the shoulders earlier. Now that totally is gone.
Wow.
April month, I don't see the body heat or the itchings and all that stuff. So I'm in many ways benefited, Badri. So just by doing whatever little things I can do, it's not just, you know, doing weightlifting, all that stuff, running. So if you tell us, no, if you just do touch your forehead to the knee first thing, yeah, then there is a Merry Christmas is not going to happen. Whatever, if you are able to do that thing right, we will not be joining this course. Everyone come here only when they have problems. So yeah, that, that we keep saying. But when we put up, when we ask the Q&A, you know, we ask so many questions. Yes, we just come here for blood pressure, the sugar, but in Q&A we ask so many questions. It's nice, we should ask questions, but you know, it's all lifestyle things that we ignore, and small things will become a bigger issue. Then we try to correct and come here. But anyway, I'm happy, and this 3 and a half, 4 months, I'm seeing, uh, very good benefits.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so much for sharing this. Everybody type MPT by Dusreen Vaz in the chat box. And our guest speaker is already here, I don't want her to wait here. And I hope, uh, like, I'll come to you as well as Malty as well, Malty ji as well. And, uh, so see, like, small changes make a big huge difference. All the people who are asking about Diamond is one year, is actually Diamond program is one year yearly program, or 3 months program— sorry, 3 years program. But because this is during the Health Summit, we are giving this completely for lifetime. One-time investment, lifetime benefits. I, I, uh, like, so you don't need to pay again and again. So for example, today I will show you, like, I'm going to launch 2 courses before Rekha comes for all of you. These courses are— we did not promise these courses before they joined, all the old people. But we launched these new courses. All these new courses we launched, also we are giving it for free of cost. And second thing, this is the last time we are going to give lifetime because last year, financial year, you all know that 31st March is the financial year end. We have closed lifetime memberships. And also the price also we have increased, ₹50,000 we have increased the prices. But this time, the during this health summit, because it's the first week of financial year We are giving the old price, whatever we have offered in the last year, last financial year. That is the price you are going to get. You can buy whenever you wish to buy, but the prices will be different. So you have to buy the new year price, the new financial year price, which where we have increased the Diamond membership ₹50,000. And this is the last time we are giving the lifetime membership also. And third time, this is the only time we are giving people to upgrade from Silver to Diamond directly. That means you are getting your Silver for free. So that is another option. These are some of the changes we are making because for us the cost we are charging for the diamond is not at all sufficient for us to give those services which we are giving. So that's the reason we have to increase the prices. And this is the last time whoever wish to join, we are giving that. So that's why please make sure that you are applying and you are watching the video. I have also given a video in this link. If you have seen in the video, I have explained about the costing, I have explained about the what are the features you are going to get. Everything I have explained in this. Namaste. Namaste. So please go and watch this video. And this is an application process only. You— it's not like because you have money you can buy. We only take 45 people. We only have 45 spots. Almost 15 people have paid. Somebody has mentioned that after 60 days I'll make a decision. I like— we don't know whether you will make a decision or not. By the time you lose more, some family problems will happen, something will happen. So when we have people like Kalpana ji and few other people, they have sold their gold jewelry to be part of Diamond. And most of you here in the state of affordable state, right? So if you are wasting your time, you're just delaying your health, that's all. You can delay on buying sofa, you can delay on buying house, you can delay on buying house— sorry, buying car, you can delay on buying TV, but you cannot delay on this, dear friends. You can delay on buying iPhone. I am seeing like most of the iPhone people only saying that they don't have money for their own eye. Right, so that is the case. It's just cost of one iPhone, uh, like iPhone Pro, whatever we are charging, and you are going to get lifetime benefits. Even if you buy iPhone, you have to replace your iPhone after, after 3-4 years. It will not work, the battery will go down, but we will be there to support you and guide you and benefit you. And also, this is the last time, one more thing which I wanted to tell, we are going to give Breath Healer certification program, which is a certification program. You can also become a certified coach like me and start earning money or helping other members. So this program also we are removing from the next financial year. So these are the some of the changes we are making. People don't notice those changes which I have been making, uh, but sure, like, you will understand once you come in the next Diamond Showcase whenever I'm going to do, because every month when we open, you will understand in the next month whenever we open, we are going to do that. Yes. And also, before I quickly bring— so I'm just want to announce that there are 2 new courses we are adding, uh, to our Diamond program, which is— everybody type 'oh' in the chat box. First course is Thyroid Reset Challenge. So this is a thyroid— is completely focused on how to reset your thyroid, how to manage your thyroid. Type all the members 'oh' in the chat box. And of course, Silver people also can pay and be part of this. This costs ₹20,000. Separately if you want to be part of this. And next course we are launching is acidity control challenge. Type in the chat box, all the people. And this is a new course we are launching for the Longevity Club members. And so during this new financial year, we have decided that we want to list— last financial year we have launched blood pressure balance challenge, diabetic reversal challenge, detox challenge, and a few other challenges. This year we started, started like with SDD reversal challenge and thyroid challenge, and some more we are planning in the back end, and we'll get back to you. We'll let you know once we, um, once we announce those. Okay, so thank you, thank you so much. Now I know that you all are waiting, and our guest speaker is also here. I'm sorry for keeping you waited, and I just wanted to tell you, she's one of the powerful, powerful coach, and She has transformed energy healing into a powerful lifeline moment. She is the heart behind Soulful Academy, a mentor to thousands, and the woman who works with queens across the world, help them to reclaim their power. She mainly works with the women, but today's session is also for men. Okay, don't worry about that. Okay, so she's an internationally certified energy coach. She has worked one-to-one with over 2,000 individuals. Imagine 2,000 people she has worked one-to-one. And guiding them through deep transformation and healing. Through her powerful live webinars, boot camps, she has impacted more than 45,000 people globally, and she's on a mission to create 1 million happy, conscious families. Because for her, family isn't just a value, it's just— it's her superpower. She's also a TEDx speaker, and she had a TEDx talk on Break the Pattern. You can check on YouTube. I think she's also expert behind the movement helping people shift from emotional pain to empowered living. And she's an energy healer, a mentor, unstoppable force of transformation, a lifelong learner, a mother of two, two incredible boys, and a woman who leads with passion, purpose, and power. So she's, uh, here to help us, all of you. So please, please welcome Rekha, and she's here for Reiki healing. How many of you are hearing Reiki healing for the first time? Type first time in the chat box if you are hearing Reiki healing for the first time. So Rekha, for Reiki healing, let me bring her. Yes, she has— she had already taken a session for all of us for chakra healing. It was very, very powerful chakra healing session which we have gone through before, Rekha, and I cannot tell you kind of feedback I got. And thank you for once again taking your time and coming here. Please go ahead.
Thank you, thank you, Badri. Thank you for this opportunity. Thank you everybody for giving me this opportunity to serve you. A wonderful evening to everyone. Uh, so today you're going to experience Reiki healing. Before I start with Reiki healing, what is that you want to heal? Do you want to heal health? Want to heal relationship? You want to heal career? You want to heal money? Or you want to have an overall healing? Type whichever the subject. Thank you, thank you for the welcome message. Everything overall? Relationship, health, money, overall? Yeah, I see as overall. So I would explain you a little bit about how the healing happens so your logical brain gets some answer. Otherwise, whenever we do a healing or meditation, your logical brain is not accepting, right? How this is possible to heal? And that I'm going to answer it first, then we are going to create the magic. Are you ready for some magic? Yes. Okay, beautiful. Awesome. So Reiki is introduced to us by Japanese technique, Dr. Mikao Usui, and Reiki was later sent to US, then it came to India. But my guru told me that Reiki is India-based. So in the olden days, Buddha used to touch people and he would heal people. So Reiki was working even before Reiki was found in Japan, but it is not carried forward in India. Now it— from US it came to India. So over, over more than 20 lakh Reiki healers are there across the world, and people find magic. They have healed cancer, they have healed blocks, they have manifested money, they have found a lost thing through Reiki, they've also healed their relationship, they found missing person through Reiki. So Reiki can be used for anything and everything, okay? Reiki can be used for your organ healing, Reiki can be used for your overall health, Reiki can be healed for your body, Reiki also can be healed for your relationship. You can do a photo healing, you can also do a home healing, you can do it for a new property healing, healing. You can use it for black magic if you believe in black magic. You can also use it for white magic, all of it, okay? So when I say all of it, the list can be so big. So, uh, it just covers everything, okay? That's all I want you to understand. Reiki means universal energy, right? So universal energy, we all call it in different, different name. We call Shiva, we call Brahma, we call Vishnu, we call Krishna. We have names of our home god and everything. So it's that one energy. Everybody talk about one energy. So we are going to invoke that one universal energy and we are going to do this healing. So since everybody is voted for overall, so I'm going to explain you how the overall health is taken care by Reiki. So you are going to get some answers, then we will move forward. Is it okay? Am I too fast or my speed is okay? Should I reduce the speed? Should I increase the speed or I'm okay? Give me a okay. Yes, okay. So we have 5 bodies, okay? Number 1 is our, uh, Annamaya Kosha. Annamaya Kosha is your physical body. So on a, on a, to one extreme level, Badri takes care. I saw somebody lost 8 kgs. So Annamaya Kosha is everything what you do for your body. You go to doctor, you eat food, you do diet, and all of that is for your Annamaya Kosha. Anna means rice. It's physical body, basically. The second body is your pranamaya kosha. That's your breath body. So you have all joined Badri's community for your breath, right? And you all worked on your breath and you have received a lot of things in your life. Uh, the thyroid kit he was talking about, the acidity kit he was talking about, all this is now, uh, medicine is so much of harmful, and now organically you all are healing. We are so blessed to have people like Badri around us who is helping us, isn't it? Type 'Wow Badri' or how do you call Badri? You can type 'Wow Badri' in the chat box. So thanks to him for introducing us how to breathe properly and helping us to use our breath and heal our Pranamaya Kosha. So your Pranamaya Kosha can be healed through breath. So in your Pranamaya Kosha we have the nadis. So in the olden days we didn't had any radiology, no X-ray, no radiology. If you go to doctor and if you want to check if you are pregnant, the doctor would check and he will say, oh, there is two breaths, she is pregnant. No, no, no, she's not pregnant. So the doctor would just check the Nadi and he would give the answer. So now Badri is our Nadi doctor who helps our Nadi to cleanse and have all the blessings. So indirectly Badri also does a work of Reiki basically. So because Badri is also making you breathe fresh air and release, breathing out and breathing in and all of that. So your pranamaya is taken care. Now the third layer is your emotions. That's your manomaya kosha. As I say, manomaya kosha, it's your man, all of that you feel. You know, most of your diseases are created by your manomaya kosha. So when your manomaya kosha is blocked, your pranamaya kosha also gets blocked. When you heal your pranamaya kosha, you also go to your manomaya kosha. How many of you, after Badri's session, you feel relaxed and you go and sleep? Yeah, the person, uh, Srinivas was saying that he's able to sleep now peacefully. Because you are doing a breath body healing, that is your pranamaya kosha, your manomaya kosha is also getting healed and you're sleeping. Now the last two bodies I will tell you quickly. The fourth body is your vijnanamaya kosha. That's your scientific body. This is where you crave for knowledge and this is why you are becoming a Diamond member. Okay, so why Diamond member? Because when you put knowledge into your body You don't need too much of healing because your knowledge is your awareness. The minute you are aware, you can heal a lot of things in your life. There are so many people, they don't know chakra and Reiki and they are successful. Yes or no? Give me yes or no in the chat box. It's yes. There's so many successful, healthy people don't know the chakra, Reiki and all of that, and they are very happy and healthy because they have the knowledge. So by having a right knowledge about thyroid, bio-acidity, by having a right knowledge about your body, you You don't even have to heal because your body is already healed. You can be proactive without the diseases. That is your vijnanamaya kosha. Am I clear? Type science in the chat box. That is your fourth body. Now when you are loaded with the knowledge, nobody can disturb you with your peace. That is your anandamaya kosha. What is ananda? That's your bliss body. So somebody who invests in themselves Somebody who learns, they are very happy. That's the bottom line. Because when they learn, they're very conscious. Because they're very conscious, they don't want to be sad. They remain happy. And all of you who wanted everything, you need to be happy. That's it. Yeah, clear? So that's why it's important to learn and upgrade your soul. So now let me talk about Reiki. So we are going to do the Reiki healing for your 7 chakras. This is the guidance what I am receiving. So we are also going to invoke the guardian angels around each one of us. We have a guardian angel which is given to us from many, many, many, many souls, okay? Many, many souls, not only this life. You have a guardian angel given to you from, from your first soul, first life, okay? Your guardian angel knows everything about you. Everything. Your guardian angel knows everything about you. Is there an echo? Is my voice okay?
Yeah, it is okay. It is okay. I think, yeah, they have to check from this.
Yeah. So we are also going to invoke the guardian angel, uh, light, because the guardian angel is going to help you, uh, get you what you need to heal. So when we do Reiki healing, some people will feel good in their heart, some people will feel good in their stomach, some people will feel good in their knee pain, because if they have a knee pain Some people will feel good in their back. Some people will feel some enlightenment. Some people will go to trance. But I do only one healing. How? Because Reiki knows what to heal in your body. Because this is a supreme energy, you don't have to actually direct it. It's not a doctor, right? It's a supreme energy you are going to work with, and the energy knows where you need the healing. You might be thinking that you need headache, you have headache, and you need to heal your headache. But actually you might be having constipation and maybe you need to heal your gut to heal your headache. So Reiki knows it has to heal and heal your stomach. Okay, so far clear? So when you go through Reiki healing, uh, you need to drink a lot of water. So tomorrow I want— tonight and tomorrow I want you to drink water sip by sip, sip by sip, because when we cleanse, the cleansing energy has to flush out of your body. Okay, whatever is toxic, let it go out of your body. Drink water. Some of you might face a loose motion. Some of you might sleep for maybe 10 hours, 20 hours. Everything is normal. Even if you don't feel anything, everything is normal. Okay, you may not feel anything or you might feel extreme, but I have to tell you what is the experience is going to be so you know everything is normal. Type normal in the chat Everything is absolutely normal. The energy works through you and it just takes out what is not required for you. Just allow your body to work for you for one day and let it go. So how it works— see, somebody is fat and they are working on weight loss. Do you think the weight loss is happening from outside? The slim body is inside the body, no?
