Nada Yoga and Music Therapy

The YouTube live session, moderated by Badrinath Gella and led by Dr. Meenakshi Sundari, explored the therapeutic power of Nada Yoga and Indian classical music. After opening blessings, Dr. Sundari shared her personal journey, the philosophy of sound as healing, and distinctions between music teaching and music therapy. She guided participants through a detailed chakra‑based meditation using breath, visualisation of Shiva’s energy, and chanting of the Mahamrityunjaya and Om Namah Shivaya mantras, explaining their meanings and intended benefits. The session included a brief shloka demonstration, discussion of ragas in various languages, and the idea that music is a universal language. Participants (Sanjay, Kalpana, Shilpa, etc.) gave testimonies of physical, psychological and spiritual improvements—such as better blood‑sugar control, reduced fear of death, and renewed motivation for yoga and fasting. The host repeatedly encouraged attendees to share feedback, emphasized a “give‑and‑take” gratitude mindset, and promoted the Diamond Membership program, offering a ₹299 consultation and outlining payment logistics. The session concluded with collective chanting, a final blessing, and reminders about recordings and future sessions.

children with special needs. It is such a wonderful, you know, my sankalpa was there to blend both and with the spiritual guidance of great masters. And you know that my sankalpa was that. So I think God has blessed me to do music therapy. So I'll just share a case study. The who is the first client of mine for Carnatic music therapy? His name is Ajay. Now he is 30 years old boy. When he came to me, he was 12. He has got multiple disorders. By birth, he is blind and he has got cerebral palsy, and then it related to brain issues, brain damage, and moderate hearing loss, and also juvenile diabetic. Mother had 2 children with the same complaints. After 3 months, one child, it was dead. They found it was a Herculean task for these parents to bring up Ajay because he had lot of— most of the time he used to be in hospital, the, you know, the infant. And he was— the child was like a vegetable. I mean, you know, not much of milestones, everything was thoroughly delayed. And they could recognize that the child was responding to Vishnu Sahasranama and the musical rhythm, you know, the child used to respond. And so they thought that, you know, more exposure to music would make his life at least a little, you know, meaningful. So they were exposing the child to music, and when he became 5 years, they took him to some music teachers in Hyderabad. Nobody could accept the child because of multiple challenges, and even his speech was also not very clear, and a lot of health challenges. Every other day he used to be admitted to hospital. So the time went on like that, and at the age of 12, his father was transferred to Bangalore. And by that time I had started my Mira Centre for Music Therapy Education and Research. And, you know, it was, I was really, I was very passionate. I must do something for individuals with deprivation, you know, with health challenges. So he was referred to me by a director of one, you know, disabled, you know, reformation center, rehabilitation center. The director, the director referred Ajay to me. She knew about my work, what I have started, and she referred that boy to me. Initially, it was a challenge for me because he was my first client. So whatever, with counselling techniques, whatever I knew, I could accept him as he is, and I started giving him with lot of unconditional love and empathy. I started administering music as an intervention with Omkara, shlokas, bhajans. And gradually I introduced classical music. I used to just sit, you know, not on my lap, that much distance, and I used to hold his hand and make him to put talas. When other musicians had discarded him, I could do some sort of, you know, service to the child. It went on like 3 to 4 years. He did his diploma in music therapy, music, from Telugu Potti University from Hyderabad. I only wrote scribe for him for all his theory classes. And even now he is continuing. After he again, you know, he came back to Bangalore and now he has become a teacher in Ramana Maharshi Institute for the Blind as a music teacher. It was a, you know, intense music therapy for him which transformed his life to total dependency to— at least, you know what, his life has become meaningful. And his mother has devoted his life to him, and she is also— she could grow a lot. Ajay became guru to her, and she is also helping blind children, and she is helping Ajay to do all his teaching very well. So mother is the crucial support for him. And even now Ajay is learning very well. If you ask him, he doesn't know voluntary communication even now, but if I ask him to, Ajay, you sing Kalyani Raga, he will sing. What he has learnt, more than 300 items now, bhajans and, you know, classical music, kirtanas, varanas. We can't expect, you know, a very high expertise from him. But he sings very clearly and in very good pitch, and his music is aligned with Shruti, Raga, Bhava, and Tala. So the parents are feeling so happy because only music could transform him. There are so many success stories throughout my, you know, the services, experiences of music therapy since 25 years. There are many cases through which music has made children to, you know, it is not music teaching, it is music therapy for a purpose. Teaching music is different. We go with the systematic teaching of lessons. Here music is used as an intervention to address their non-musical goals. Okay, now I'll, I'll start sharing the screen. We will come to Nadi Yoga and then I will come to music and impact of music on you know, everybody, for the holistic health of each one of us and as a therapeutic intervention for those individuals who have got special challenges. Give me just a minute, I'll share the screen. Yeah. Are you able to see the screen?
Yes, it's visible.
Okay, okay. So this is Nada Yoga. It is the very divine auspicious day of Ishwara and Parvati's wedding day. So I feel very, very much privileged and blessed to talk on Nada Yoga because Nada Yoga is the, you know, blending of Shiva and Shakti. Om. See, everything, the entire universe has started with Omkara. It is the cosmic vibration which is the supreme absolute. It represents the form, rupa, of the divine and serves as the sacred name, Nama, of Ishwara. What is Nada Yoga? Nada is the flow of sound and yoga means union. Nada Yoga is the process of the union of the individual mind with cosmic consciousness through the flow of sound. It is the union of body, mind, and soul, that is the Jivatma and Paramatma, through the Nada Brahman. Individual self reaches to the Brahman through Nada, and Nada Yoga is the combination of union of Shiva and Shakti. It is a science of inner transformation through the power of sound. Nada Yoga. See, there are many paths to reach God— Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Marga. Among them, Nada Marga, Nada Vapasana is also one of the most important, very, very, very much relevant and easy in Kali Yuga. All, you know, great saints— Purandara Dasa, Anamacharya, Kanakadasa— all the saints say that in Kali Yuga, Harinama Sankirtana is the best form to reach the God. There are two types of Nada: Ahatanada, Anahatanada. Ahatanada is produced by the friction of striking two objects, its audible sound heard through the ears. So what music we sing, we listen to, whether it is instruments or vocal, it belongs to Ahatanada. Anahatanada is internal, unstruck sound, which arises from within the physical impact. It is considered the sound of cosmos. Normally only saints and sages who do lot of tapas, they experience this Anahata Nada sound, unstruck sound within silence, which leads to spiritual liberation. So from here You will be understanding what is music first. Can anyone say what is music? Can you type in the message what is music?
Message not—
What is music as an art?
So chat box is closed. Now I am opening. Yeah, please go ahead, please go ahead everyone, type it in chat box. People are saying it's Sama Veda, art, rhythm, expression, pleasant sound, bliss, sound.
Very good, all are correct.
7 chords.
Yes, I'll supplement See, there are two definitions for music. One is the classical definition, Bharata, bhava, raga, tala, three elements. You know, the Karnataka Shastra Sampradaya says that there are three elements, but we have two more elements, sahitya and shruti. Pitch, tune, rhythm, and sahitya, five components, we have melody. All we have. There is one more spiritual definition. M stands for melody, U stands for universality. Music is universal. Music is spiritual because it directly connects to the soul and it can give us bliss. What spirituality? We have to do a lot of meditation and everything to reach to the level of Ananda, Satchitananda. But music directly takes you to that state of bliss. So then what is I? I is identification of myself with the vibrations, which makes me very calm and creative. Beautiful definition because it encompasses all the healing qualities of music. What happens? It crosses the boundaries of the body, mind, and intellect, and directly it reaches to the soul. When I sing, you know, I just forget myself. I will become one with the vibrations and I will be enjoying it. So when I enjoy, automatically listeners also can, you know, can be elevated to the level of bliss, is it not? So everything happens without my knowledge. Body, mind, and intellect all are working, but I'm not at all bothered. I'm completely identified myself with the vibrations and the bliss. I am enjoying. That is the beauty of music. Unaware of me, all processes are taking place. Scientifically, they said dopamine will be increased, happy hormone will be increased, and it will have a positive impact on the whole system— my physiology, psychology, you know, spiritual health. Everything is happening without my knowledge. I need to do only sing, that's all. Or somebody has to play instrument, they will be completely forgetting themselves, and they'll be in bliss, and they will elevate others to the state of bliss, is it not? So that is the power of music. 3 simultaneous processes take place. Music is pranayama, breathing, concentration, total concentration, and meditation. All 3 processes take place unaware of the artist. That is the excellent essence of Music as an art and as a science also. We know that it is related to so many sciences— physiology, psychology, and, you know, mathematics, because it's full of mathematics. And it is related to physics because it's full of vibrations. Then it is related to biology also. Plants also grow very well by listening to music. Cows will give more milk. Lot of experiments have been taking place in India. And now I'll come— now music teaching is different. I told you music, I follow a systematic syllabus for students who come to me. But therapy is a form of intervention in through music in varied forms. It has been designed and administered as a therapeutic module to address the physical neurological, psychological, social, spiritual challenges of individuals with special needs. That is the difference. Here music is in the form of intervention. I cannot sing compositions, all classical part, I cannot sing for them at all. They will not understand also. I need to understand the client completely in a holistic health perspective. I need to design module according to his need. Yeah, I have been working with two perspectives of Carnatic music as a therapy to enhance the holistic health and well-being of one and all. I sincerely feel on this earth all human beings can sing, because if God is not partial, he has bestowed all faculties very well. We block our minds. As you know, we don't have good voice, we cannot sing, they didn't encourage us. So all these excuses we give and we postpone. I didn't have any opportunity to learn. If you make up your mind, definitely you can do it. I realized, you know, when after seeing Shri Badri, I realized how at this age, how much he is doing to propagate the holistic health and importance and such, you know, excellent monitor. I have not seen a team like that because since 70 years I have been with so many groups and one of the best groups I can say because to promote the holistic health aspects. That's why I fell for Badri and I became Diamond Member. I thought I must be with him and I must do something for this group also. That was my, you You know, I started having that goal after entering, after attending 2 days session first, then I became Silver Line member and I thought it is, I should equip myself. I have been just concentrating on service, service and profession along with my family responsibility. I thought I must take a break from everything and understand, I equip myself at this age, you know, holistic, I mean, 70 years, still I feel young at heart, but body should cooperate. So I am also a human being. Lot of challenges were there. After coming, it's almost 3 weeks, I have improved a lot. Badri, I want to compliment you. The diet and the diet guidance and pranayama, yoga, everything, almost 80% I have been attending, and I find lot of improvements within myself. And so to administer Carnatic music in various fields as therapeutic modules for individuals with special needs, that has been my profession. So Carnatic music is one of the two forms of Indian music, Carnatic music and Hindustani music. We have two different forms. Since I am a Carnatic vocalist, I am administering Carnatic music as a therapeutic intervention. Carnatic music has shruti, raga, tala, bhava, and sahitya, which have immense healing and therapeutic qualities. What are all the types of clientele who are seeking help from our Mira Center for Music Therapy? Autism, dyslexia, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, behavior problems, slow learners, anxiety, depression, stroke patients, schizophrenia, personality disorders, various types of challenges. So goal of music therapy is to use Carnatic music in different forms to address the non-musical health challenges of the clientele. What forms of Carnatic music I am using? Omkara chanting. My God, it helps so much. Omkara in different speeds And you know, in different pitches I administer Sanskrit shlokas, bhajans in different languages, folk music, light music, film music, and Carnatic classical music. Especially basic lessons of, you know, which have been designed by Purandara Dasa, I use it to address their, you know, clarity of speech. And even, you know, they will not know how to count the numbers, even the basic, this thing, you know, basic Skills also they lack. Through using these techniques, I found immense improvement among these children. So what are the core essence of our functional beliefs? We educate them about music therapy because since music therapy is still in infant stage in India, we need to educate. We explore what is available in the child or the individual whoever comes to us. We encourage We enable, we empower, and we enrich, so which are giving significant results. Who are the beneficiaries? We get clients, parents— it's a family therapy, in fact— and also caregivers. We give type individual treatment is the utmost, most effective treatment we administer, and we do group sessions also. We do family therapy also. What are the methods of treatment we have adopted in our center? Is pranavana chikitsa, ongkara, raga chikitsa. We use different ragas for different ailments. Swara chikitsa, swara patterns also we use. Mantra chikitsa, tala chikitsa, rhythm therapy. My husband is Dr. Ravi sir. He is doing his great murudangam vidwan. He is doing rhythm therapy and chakra activation through music therapy because we heard about chakra activation from Rekha, if I am right. It was very good. So even through Saptaswaras also, chakras can be activated. So, and even from Omkara and also Beeja Mantra, all we use depending upon the need and interest of the client. So what is, what are the benefits or significant results we have found among these children? They feel very joyful and happy. They are very happy. Among all other therapies, they will be eagerly waiting to come to music therapy because it is unconditional love. It's a very free environment wherein they can express themselves without any inhibition. And it is done in 100% unconditional love and empathy. So what is the result we are finding is they are very joyful, calmness, they will become very calm, hyperactivity will be reduced, sitting tolerance, sitting tolerance will definitely improve, focus, memory, neuromuscular coordination, because they will have a lot of problems with their, you know, they can't lift their hands and so many problems they will have. Because of singing with the tala, they will, you know, their muscular neuromuscular coordination, coordination between the body and the mind will increase. Self-expression, social interaction, it will improve. Self-worth, because it's a Herculean task for all the parents to bring up special children because they will be dejected and they will be asking what karma I had done, ma'am, why me? Why I have one, one child, special child? It's a very, very, you know, it is totally 24/7 commitment on their part. They will be very much, very much, you know, depressed and no hopes for them. When they come, music therapy definitely will give some ray of hope for the parents also because the child responds to music. Can you imagine all these children are extraordinarily talented in music. What I feel is, no, what I see is the divine force is some faculties are absent, but the God has given them extraordinary abilities in some faculties, in some areas. That's what I see. So through music therapy, their self-esteem will improve because social ostracization is there, is there, which parents cannot take them to all the social circles and family functions. They find very difficult because of children's unpredictable behavior. So, you know, but because of singing, whenever they sing, now parents feel very happy. Others cannot do, my child is doing, and everybody is clapping, everybody is appreciating. So they feel self-worth. Their self-esteem will improve, both for parents as well as children. Self-confidence level will improve. Eye contact— normally eye contact will not be there for these children. Through music therapy, eye-to-eye contact will improve. They will become very confident and courageous listening to instructions. They will not listen to instructions at all, but after coming to music therapy, because, you know, discipline is also there along with empathy and love, so they start listening to instructions, which then their clarity of speech will improve, communication skills also improve. Long-term music therapy intervention had been so impactful for the client, clientele, as well as parents. They find a ray of hope for them to take music as a career, to be self-reliant. I have got many cases wherein children want— parents also want their children to become music teachers or bhajan teacher because they don't expect anything from them financially. They say that Ma'am, we don't want anything. We want him to lead a meaningful life by teaching at least few music lessons to other children. I have one boy, adult, say he's 25 years. He came to me. He's a child with autism. He came to me 8 years back when I was in Hyderabad. He had a lot of issues with his behavior and sitting tolerance. And through constant intensive music therapy, He has completed MA in Carnatic Music from Jain University, and I'm training him to teach other special children in our center. So this is what, you know, self-reliance they seek through music therapy, which is the wonderful shelter for these children. So what are the healing qualities of music on the holistic health? Let us understand. Holistic aspects is physical, psychological, social, and spiritual. Music is a natural breathing exercise. It strengthens our respiratory function. It increases in lungs capacity. I was the patient of asthma. I got it cured completely. Since 30 years, I don't, I don't get asthma attack at all. Whenever I go to pulmonary function for master checkup, they say your PFT is very good. So they ask me what is the secret. I said every day I sing Every day I teach Akara, Ikara, Ukara, Makara in all ragas, everything. So that is the secret. So wind instruments like flute and, you know, other, you know, which is bansuri and all instruments, saxophone, nadhaswara, all these, it needs a lot of energy through air. So they are very good for lungs capacity. Calming the mind. Music really calms the mind and relaxes the body, and we feel appetite will be increased, supports our healthy digestive system. Playing instruments like veena, violin, guitar, drums enhance muscular and neurological balance, which improves coordination. Music promotes energy and activity. It has a healthy impact on the nervous system. It positively affects cognitive performance. It induces sound sleep, supports deep rest and sleep. Psychological benefits of music therapy: peace, tranquility, happiness, and bliss. Music uplifts the human mind. Expression of suppressed feelings. It enables us to express through positive, constructive, and creative ways. It enhances creativity and memory power. Stirs imagination and strengthens recall. I even now, I remember what I had learned when I was 3 years old. So baby, I remember so much because memory, you know, it's definitely, it stimulates memory. It promotes positive thinking and optimism. It creates a strong base for spiritual thinking. It's a meditative process and improves concentration. It inculcates and energizes self-esteem and confidence. It inculcates values with optimistic attitude towards life. One of the most important psychological, you know, impact through music is it instills discipline. I have to sing music with a perfect shruti and laya, rhythm, and tala. You know, I have to put— if I am performing, I need to coordinate with Mridangam artist and violinist and, you know, the Murching or Ghatam. So much I wouldn't have practiced, I wouldn't have had any rehearsals. I'm sitting on the stage singing for 2 hours. I need to balance so much of mindfulness and alertness music gives. It creates a deeper awareness socially. Social recognition we get, visibility and respect in society. It enhances our social status, accolades. We can get a lot of awards and accolades at state, national, and international level. We see so many artists are given Padma Shri, Padma Vibhushana, so many, you know, titles and awards are there. So develop leadership qualities, nurtures confidence and ability to guide others. So normally real artists are very friendly. They will have a broader outlook. Love and compassion becomes a part of a real artist. Music doesn't have any blocks of boundaries. It transcends caste, religion, economic status, and geographical domain. Melody instills equality among all. We see so many, you know, fusion music wherein artists from Germany or from America, from other countries, and Indians all sit on the stage And they will, you know, take all the listeners to the, you know, most blissful level. Though, you know, music is different, but they come, you know, that harmony will be created. That's why we feel music has no boundary, no blocks at all. Music enhances concentration and memory power among children. It boosts creative ability. It supports scholastic achievement, helps children in academic excellence. I have seen in my music center children who took music as their part of life. They started very young at their early age and it became part of their life. They never— they were so much focused to music and studies and play. Everything was balanced. They never had any adolescent issues, you know, because by that time music had seeped into them and they knew the value of music, how much they could gain through music. Parents were also like that, so they, with their support, they have excelled in their academic career also. Spiritual— music is a pranayama, meditation, and total concentration. All these processes unfold naturally and simultaneously without any effort. Union of body, mind, and intellect and soul. Experience of total bliss. Experience of divine within. Whenever we sing on Krishna, we can see Krishna Devi, Ishwara, Subramanya, whomsoever God you want, we can definitely call them and we can place them within ourselves in the antaranga or in the heart. So it guides on different paths of spirituality such as Jnana Marga, Karma Marga, Bhakti Marga, and Nado Posana is one of the most effective Marga in Kali Yuga. So I have Concluded my presentation. Now you can ask if at all there are any questions, you can ask. Hope you have enjoyed the session. Well, I hope—
very, very powerful and we understood the importance of it. I think we can start the meditation, then we can take the questions later. Yes, because otherwise we cannot do that.
Yes, yes, sure.
Yes.
So to now, uh, like, can you explain us like what exactly that is so that, uh, quickly, uh, so that I can play also?
Like, yeah, I have chosen a raga. Um, please experience and then give feedback to me. I have sang a raga. I don't want to mention the raga because if you know, some of the musicians might be there. If they can make out the raga, they will tell. So I will not tell anything about the raga. See, ragas are, you know, they are based on Navarasas. Okay, so Navarasas, you know, Shringara Rasa, Hasya Rasa, Vibhatsa, Veera Rasa. There are so many types of 9 emotions are there. All ragas, they will have cluster of— each raga will have cluster of emotions. I cannot say that one raga is only one rasa. So I have selected a raga for meditation. Okay, I had sent 2-3 ragas to Badri, so he chose this raga. I was very happy. And please listen to the raga and give your feedback, what you experienced. Okay, and I want to seek all of your blessings. I want to experiment 100 ragas, the healing qualities of 100 ragas in my lifetime, because I have sung 100 ragas for Soundarya Lahari, Adi Shankara Soundarya Lahari. 100 ragas. It's not a joke. I have not done it. It is the Divine Grace. I am just an instrument, that's all. So I want to explore 100 qualities, healing qualities of each raga. That is my goal. That's why I wanted to equip myself and became a Diamond member. Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. Thank you so much. It means a lot. And so chanting and all, don't worry, dear friends, Diamond members, like we in chanting club, she's gonna take some sessions. Okay, so she already said, like, we already had a discussion in our chanting club in diamond membership. She's, uh, gonna take a couple of sessions, and so it is going to— you will also get benefited in case if you are interested in the classical music. Of course, you will not become vocalists or musicians by that, but at least, like, we'll feel happy by, like, doing in proper way. And we'll also find in the process, we can also find our own voice. Or else most of the people suppress the voice. What I observed was most of them suppress the voice and they try to copy others. They try to copy other people's voice. So that is how— that is not your, your real voice. Everybody has their own voice, their uniqueness. And that is what you are going to experience, um, like when you come to the chanting club. Maybe we'll take couple of sessions. I'll also add my flavor, like my inputs to that because I am also a beginner learning. So how I struggled and so what are the things we need to remember and I'll also add all of those. And now like as like 95% people, I don't think they are musicians. I know that every classical concert I go, they try to identify which tala they are using, which raga they are using. They try to guess all the musicians. I am the only handicapped person over there. Where I could not know like what exactly they are singing, what exactly the tala, and people keep tala, like doing talas, and what this is they're doing. And I used to feel that. So now I can understand why, from where you are coming. But what I wanted to tell you, all of you, is while after this meditation, like, she may give you all the details and everything about the raga, but while you're listening to this, just observe how it is impacting. Like, if you are not a musician, music background, you will not understand anything. What is that raga and all, but just observe how it is impacting on your body, in your mind, in your, uh, like, uh, like emotions, how it is impacting. I just want you to use that. And she has recorded and sent because previously also she sang the tanpura, uh, like voice was not audible. So now that's the reason we have— I have asked and to record and send so that the quality of the audio will be nice. So in Zoom has some restrictions, right? So that is like, I just got few days back only. I don't think that I'm playing the recording.
Yeah, so yes, perfect.
So for now, like, um, like, just focus on healing. Then later on we'll go with the autism and all the things like which ragas are best and everything. We'll take question and answers later. Let's focus on first healing. So I want all of you to sit comfortably, keep your eyes closed, focus on your breath, calm down yourself. Keep focusing on your breath. Inhale and exhale slowly. Breathe in and breathe out slowly. Just listen to these healing sounds.
The—
The dream, uh...
Eh, eh—
da-da-ri-na-ra-na-aah!
No.
Oh, uh, Oh. Oh.
Oh, oh.
The, the— No, no—
[MUSIC] No!
Oh.
Oh.
Slowly observe the changes.
How you are feeling, ask yourself, keeping your eyes closed.
Gently rub your hands. Open your eyes. Release your hands.
So which raga? Somebody is guessing. Yes, nice. Awesome. Like, any guesses on raga?
So where are you?
Okay, so is it correct?
Yes, yes.
Wow, awesome.
Very good.
Great, great. Awesome.
Great.
So awesome. Yeah, thank you, thank you so much for this blissful experience. Blissful. Like, how are you feeling, everyone? Unmute yourself and say. In one word?
It was great! Awesome, awesome, amazing, fantastic, totally divine and happy weekend to you all! Thank God for this opportunity—
thank you very much! Thank you so much!
Thank you ma'am! Thank you, ma'am. Thank you so much.
It means a lot. And also, after this, we have a meditation on Shiva. Dear friends, do not leave. And we also have a powerful meditation which is going to happen after this. And I think, uh, I know like how powerful it is, and especially if they practice regularly, if they understand, like listen to that properly. Can you please give us the like wide What is the essence of this raga and anything like what are the notes which involved in this raga?
Yes, definitely it is Malayamarutha raga. It is a morning raga actually. So Malayamarutha, blissful, you know, the waves, marutha. So it's very meditative and it is morning waking up raga actually. It has the Shadja, Shuddharishaba, Antaragandhara, Panchama, Shuddhadaivata, and Kaishik Nishada. It has got, see, asvaras, 7 asvaras are there. Except Shadja and Panchama, Sa and Pa, all 5 swaras have got different combinations. Okay, so permutation combination of swaras make raga healing. Some swaras, you know, Re Re Ga Ga Pa Pa, Re Re Ga Ga Ma Ma Pa Pa Da Da Ni Ni Sa Sa, Sa Sa Ni Ni Re Re Sa Sa, Ma Ga Re Sa Ni Da Ba Ma Ga Re. This is different. It stimulates.
Gavadani is very appealing.
It has Karuna Rasa. It has got very meditative, okay? And it has little Shringara also. So each raga, which is a combination of permutation, combination of Swaras, have got healing effect which are based on rasas. So each, each raga will have multiple emotions. Rasas means emotions. So it is the duty of music therapists in India to experiment ragas because it needs scientific authenticity, you know, scientific research they ask. I mean, to become— because Western music, they already have done lot of researches on Western music. They are all looking at Indian music therapy scenario. Unfortunately, we know how it works in India. We are not aware of what treasure we have, and Westerners, they will take and they will do it. So we thought, you know, we have a group of music therapists in India. We are doing, you know, we are delving in the path of scientific research also. So I did research for 4 pilot study for 4 ragas. Which I had experienced as a musician and as a psychological consultant. I had experienced 4 ragas, and without, you know, I just in flute I recorded those ragas and I sent to those who do not know music at all, 20 participants through online, you know. I selected some scale and I sent the flute. They gave wonderful feedback. About 20 days they had listened and gave feedback. Whatever I had experienced, some ragas are, you know, they're very, very calm and meditative. Some ragas are very positive and stimulating. Same results I got after the analysis. So everything is in the, you know, infant stage in India. It needs to be done, but we have to start somewhere, is it not? So that's why I really feel like I must experiment a few ragas and, you know, find out the You know, I mean, large data on more population, and I should get the— it's such a wonderful platform for all of, you know, first time I am presenting, uh, for almost 700 people. Thank you, Badri. Thank you very much.
Thank you, thank you so much. Thank you so much. It need to be heard, it need to be taken forward, somebody, at least someone. And so thank you, thank you so much. Like, more power to you and whatever the work you are doing. And India needs this, and the world needs this, and people need this. I know how much it is, but may not be— they may not realize now for the next 20 years, but after 20 years they will surely realize. Because I was in Europe, I was in there for 7, 8 countries, in different countries. I know how much priority they gave to our Indian classical dance, classical music, yoga, and how dedicatedly they learn. I went to Bhopal to learn the music by Pandit Padmasri Gondeshwar brothers. And out after, in that 70% are foreigners, only 30% are Indians. We are minority in that Gopal like ashram where I went to Gurukul. And even in the same with Pandit Maharaj also, in their ashram also you will see most of them foreigners.
Yes.
Um, so somehow in India we lost this. Uh, of course I can understand, like initially the challenge was like survival. So people like in my parents' time and all, like they were only focusing on survival. So I never got exposure to any of this classical music in my town. I come from a small town here, there was no classical concerts or any exposure to it all also. Uh, so now, uh, we rarely find also classical musicians and who went more deeper. They just start, but, uh, very difficult for people to continue also. And now the youth is more towards the Western music as well as American Of course they are good and resting, but they are more towards that, and in the process, like, we are forgetting our words. But this has a lot of—
yes, sorry for the interruption. I just have a request with all the, you know, members of Diamond and Silver Club. Please start singing anything, you know. You need not be M.S. Subbulakshmi or Bal Mukhi Krishna. No, it is just for our own satisfaction. I had given two talks in the Dignity Foundation of senior citizens. One, I mean, I just requested them to start learning music, any, in any form, simple bhajans or anything. They were so inspired, they called me second time also. Two retired IAS officers from Delhi, they had attended my first session. They said, ma'am, you inspired us so much. They joined, they started feeling so happy and energetic. And even family members were feeling very happy, and you know, it was for their own satisfaction. So even if you are not a musician, to sing, just go on singing. So many channels will get open, you know, within yourself. So that's what I want to tell all of you. So please go on singing anything, whatever you like, whether film songs or folk songs. You should just even if you are not a singer, Even languages, whichever language you are comfortable, you should go on singing. That's my request.
Thank you, thank you so much. And that's what anyone can sing, okay? So anyone can sing, and it's just like, uh, you need to put some effort and interest, that's all. So, but if you put interest, anyone can sing, and it's a very powerful also, very calming and very peaceful also. So even I learn flute, right? I'm learning flute. The reason I'm learning, it's not for like I want to do performances or anything. I just want it for my peace, my time, me time. So that's the reason only I'm doing that. So anyway, I'll take a couple of questions now. And here is the link, you can post your questions, dear friends. And yes, many people are contributing. Even Isha Foundation is contributing a lot towards classical music through Sadhguru Gurukulam. Like so many, like, uh, all, all of them are trying their level best. But if you see the Coldplay, when Coldplay came to India Like the ticket cost was around ₹8,000 to concert, minimum basic one. And if you go in lakhs, ₹4 lakhs is the highest. Within one day, the all tickets got wiped out. Whole stadium, 1 lakh plus people. But if you go in classical concerts and you'll see like very few people attending that. So like I'm just saying, like it's not about how much any person are doing, but whatever we are doing is not enough. There's more, so much more to contribute. The first question I would like to ask you, uh, people with autism and all, like what kind of ragas they have to listen? Do you have any suggestions? That is what they ask.
So it is, uh, no, no ragas initially for them, uh, because it depends upon the client, you know, interest and this thing. They will be very, very non-cooperative initially. They will not even sit for It's a fraction of a second, so I can't go on administering ragas. Probably with a rhyme, whichever, you know, he likes, I just go to his level and start administering. But raga based is Shankarabharana that balances all the chakras. Shankarabharana is a wonderful raga. Even in Hindustani and Western music, that raga is there, same combination of swaras. So I administer all my basic lessons in raga Shankarabharana. For children with autism. That raga works very well for them.
Awesome, awesome. And some of you are asking your contact details. Should I share your email ID or, uh, number? Which one?
Share my number.
Yeah, okay, definitely.
So we'll share her number, I think. But please don't call her immediately. You can message her and she may check the messages and she may, uh, like reach out to you. You can share that number in the chat box.
Yeah.
So yes, and next question, uh, like, yeah, meanwhile let's go to Kashi Ji and quickly, 1 minute only, okay? So we have, we have to cover many other things also. Quickly go ahead, Kashi Ji, and few others will take. And others, please post the questions in the chat box. Please unmute yourself.
Thank you, Badri, for giving me an opportunity, um, and thanks for, uh, bringing Dr. Meenakshi Sundari for that. Thank you, Ravi, for this presentation, wonderful presentation. And she— the way that she explained the things, very, very beautifully she has done that. Thank you, madam. And you talked about Dignity Foundation. I want to connect with you and I want to talk to you more. And I hope I will get that number from Mamta and then contact you.
She has shared in the chat box, you can take from there.
Yes, take it.
I will take it.
Yes.
Thank you so much for this beautiful way of meditation what we have experienced today. That is out of the world, I should say. And even now I don't know much about music. Only recently I started learning flute. With that I'm getting exposed to music. So I will get to know more from you, and thank you very much, madam.
And wonderful, thank you, thank you, thank you so much, Kashi Ji.
And so common questions, if I have to say, like some people are asking about, uh, this patient with family, along with family need, how to consult and all. We have shared her number, you can just message her and she will guide you. Not immediately now, but you can wait her until she replies you. And accordingly you can proceed with her. And she will see, she will tell you whether she can give you one-to-one calls for you, or like whatever it is. I don't know, like, um, she alone cannot handle many things, but you can message her and accordingly she will guide you.
Yes, yes, definitely.
And second thing, interested, who, who are interested to learn, also you can do that. And somebody is asking, like, they were having anxiety, so anxiety and fear and all, which raga should I listen?
That is what they're asking.
Actually, I have sung 100 shlokas of Soundarya Lahari, and I have been— I have found immense healing qualities, and I have been experimenting with all my clientele and parents also. I can teach the shlokas to you. I can— I have done loop also, 21 times, selected shlokas of Soundarya Lahari for healing purpose, holistic health. I can teach all of you. Because it addresses the whole gamut of holistic health. And some anxiety, you know, to bring down the anxiety level and stress level, there are shlokas. I can teach that also. And related to children issues, behavior problems, scholastic backwardness, for all, you know, human problems, Soundarya Lahiri has got 100 number of remedies, remedies, because Soundarya Lahari is composed by Adi Shankaracharya explaining the divine qualities of Universal Mother. It is not about— I mean, it is about the Lalita Tripurasundari, Adi Parashakti, which is Prakriti Amsa of Parabrahma Tattva. So when Ishwara is still and serene, you know, manifestation of the world is Prakriti, that is the Divine Mother. So Shankaracharya has glorified her beauty and power. So definitely you can chant. I can send all the shlokas. There are many shlokas in YouTube also.
YouTube you can find.
Yeah, I have sung in Shivananda Lahiri also with explanation, with English explanation also I have done. What about Shivananda Lahiri? Today, you know, it is being Ishwara day. Definitely you can listen to that. I have done for meditation. You can meditate for 2 hours by listening to Shivananda Lahiri. So whatever you want to ask, you can message me. I am also very busy with many multiple roles. Definitely I will answer you, maybe it will take some time. Okay, for anxiety and depression, everything, I can definitely give you shlokas and ragas, no problem.
Yes, my child is 8th class and having attention problems and focus, concentration, consistency. And any advice?
Definitely. There are particular shlokas related to that. I will definitely teach you, or I can send you the recording. You can make use of it.
Got it. So number has been already shared, and, um, so people like, like, let me suggest any raga for anxiety.
We have addressed, yeah, for raga, Kanada is very good. Kanada raga is very peaceful, very soothing. Karnada, and also Sama Raga. They are very good. Bhairavi is Sarvaroga Nivarana Raga.
Yes. And could you please explain how the raga stimulates and appealing raga?
Yes, see, I told you, raga themselves do not have any independent identity. It is the permutation combination of the svaras I'll just give you an example. I'll just see. Am I audible?
Yes, yes.
What impact it had on you? Tell me. Combination of swaras I made, did it have any impact or no?
Absolutely. What everyone stimulates. Okay, stimulates.
You got it now. I sing one more. What impact it had on you?
Calming, meditative, soothing, relaxing, devotion.
And lot of, you know, pleading. Pleading is there. Yeah, one more. So what feelings?
Giving joy, happy, wonderful.
Got it. Shringara rasa, Mohana raga. See, one more I'll sing. What impact it had on you?
Caring, emotional.
Yes, haasi also.
Emotional and motivation.
Emotional and motivation. So this is the nutshell, no? The combination of swaras create, it invoke, it stirs emotions. And actually, that's what I'm telling, in Indian ragas, it needs to be scientifically proved that yes, this raga has got these many qualities. And there are two perspectives. One is singing pure classical from a concert perspective. But when it comes to therapy, the artist or whoever sings, no, they should have that in mind because each raga has got its own unique qualities. I cannot take Revati raga and make it very Veera Rasa. No, I cannot make. I'll be doing injustice to that. Each raga has got its own structure. It is unique. If we explore them, definitely we can evolve beautiful therapeutic elements in that raga.
Awesome, awesome. And all the people who are asking recorded audios, you can go to her YouTube channel. She has hundreds of videos, hundreds of audios. You can able to find it over there. Okay, so just type her name on YouTube channel, you will be able to get that.
Ma'am, and at 73— no, no, I'm 70, completing on 26th is my birthday.
Yeah, 70.
Service.
Yeah, got it.
And, uh, we get more energetic after coming to Diamond, that is for sure.
Thank you, thank you so much. I want all of you like take that. See, one of the reason also the Diamond plays an important role, people like you like who really wanted to contribute, right? So this will help us. If I can take care of your health, you can contribute towards the nation a lot.
Yeah.
That is also one of my reasons.
Yeah, I lost my voice since December. I lost my voice because of throat infection and this thing. ENT surgeon said better you shut your mouth for a few months. So I started enjoying because I am follower of Ramana Maharshi. I started enjoying silence within myself and cooking for my husband and eating well, and I was enjoying. One of my students, she gave you her number. Ma'am, you please listen to him. So I attended twice, the initial one, no, first one I could not understand much. Twice I attended, then I got inspired. I had no hopes actually. I had told my husband, I think I'm going to die because of so much of sneezing and, you know, infection and so many issues I have because of age and this thing. So now sugar is also in control. No, BP also is in control. Pranayama, and it's helping me a lot, you know. I can't do, you know, so rigorously, but according to my capacity, I'm doing it. So it's giving me a lot of energy. You inspire really, Badri. You really—
thank you, thank you.
So before going to the next question, I just want to announce, dear friends, as I said, like in the morning, we only have 5 more spots. Like, uh, we left with 4 more spots. In case if you wish, please, please pay the deposit and register for it right now. Because we are going to close this and we don't need to tell again and again. Today is a beautiful day to invest on yourself. Today is a beautiful day to invest on yourself, and that too on Mahashivaratri night. If you are investing, there is no way that you will, you will not get the results. So take that opportunity. So Mamta, you can share the link so that people can invest. You have to pay the deposit of ₹20,000 right now, and remaining, uh, like, we'll, we'll get back to you in next 3 days. And another people are asking, yes, of course, Mamta, you can also share, uh, like, um, like we'll share your number again once again after the finish. And many are requesting like, can you sing something for Soundarya Lahari, like anything smaller one?
Pardon?
Smaller one, Soundarya Lahari, they want to hear from you in live.
Oh sure, I'll sing.
Mm.
Shri Teesmurti Puranana. Aleyum Karunalayum. Shri Teesmurti Puranana. Namah. Pranam tum stotum va kathamagritapunyaha pravavati.
Pravavati.
Pravavati.
Wow, thank you, thank you, thank you so much, thank you so much. Somebody, whoever asked, I think we all got an opportunity to listen to that. Yes, thank you, thank you so much for sharing that. And then let's— next question, let me go through. Like, we'll take one or two. Maybe we'll ask Ramachandranji because he was raising the hand. Go ahead, Ramachandranji. Would you like to ask?
Then we'll give it to Satish. Please unmute yourself. Go ahead.
Yeah, yeah, that was great, ma'am. Actually very soulful singing.
Thank you.
I just really relished Actually, we are from a music background. Actually, we like music so much. I appreciate music, and I can totally relate to what you are saying. My father died 2 years back, and he was an ardent lover of music. And in the last days, no, he had— he got into dementia. And sometimes he was uncontrollable. So like whatever you do, actually we had kept some people to control him, but then he was not controllable sometimes. So fortunately, like I was just playing something and then he got so much engrossed into it.
Very good.
So then he normally, he asked what is the raga, So he liked to find out and all that, like he's always like that. So then during— while he was wild, you know, when— while listening to this raga, suddenly he started asking which raga and all that, and then kept so quiet and he was listening to the whole this thing. Like then I— from that day I understood, like every day I was giving him some music or other and I can totally relate to what you're saying. Music can do wonders. Actually, I really appreciate your work, ma'am. You have done great service to so many people, and I look forward to get more, uh, this thing. Like, I want to learn singing myself.
Sure, sure.
And I'll look forward. Let us see when time comes. I think the Almighty will arrange such things. And I'm very thankful to Badri Ji for bringing such diamonds into our community. And, uh, and he once— he is telling like he is going to include you in that chant sessions. Yes, I'm really very happy about it. Thank you so much, ma'am.
Very—
I mean, enjoyed every bit of it.
Thank you very much.
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much. Thank you so much, Ramchandranji. So due to time, we cannot take more. And all the people who are asking the questions, you will be, uh, like getting— like, you can— we have shared her number. You can contact her in case if you want to learn music or anything. And I'm not sure whether she has any group classes right now happening or not, but yeah, she may guide you better on that. And secondly, like, um, like, we also— you have also sent me one song, uh, like Bajan. Um, how long does it take to, uh, like learn that? How much time do we need?
I think 10 minutes.
Okay, okay then. So we'll go with meditation or bhajan. Which one you would like to go ahead? Type it in chat box, everyone. Yeah, meditation also I'll do, but which one first? I'm asking that. People are asking bhajan first. Okay.
Great.
No one is asking for my meditation. Okay, so today I'm— I don't think like they need me at all, right? So yeah, so okay then, fine. Got it, got it. So okay then, we'll go with the bhajan only, like, because of kind of like a huge majority of the people who are asking. Then I'll also show you that, uh, that one also. And, uh, also I just wanted to tell you before we go forward And all the people, whoever is still not part of the diamond, I'm just telling you, because it's the Mahashivaratri, if you invest on this, like, you are only going to benefit a lot. And what we have done is we have created a consultation call, like Q&A call, if whatever questions you have related to that. So you can pay ₹299 and book a consultation here. So book a consultation here. Here is the link, so where you can pay ₹299 and book a consultation where our one of our member will reach out to you. And, um, and they will, they will guide you on like how, what about the program or anything, if you have any questions related to that. Okay, so you can do that also. Like this time we have opened this so that you can talk to the person directly.
Yeah.
And now like before we go forward to this, and, uh, yes, Satish, quickly, 1 minute only I'm going to give you time. So you're from north, but this, this music is mainly in south Karnataka. And we use like usually like Hindustani happens, but yeah, go ahead. How was your experience listening to Carnatic music? Yeah, go ahead, go ahead, you're on mute. You start singing, you start singing. Madam, very thank you. Advice, thankful to you and coming here for the session, very nice and healing session it was.
Thank you, sir.
Thank you, thank you, so nice of you, sir. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for sharing that, and more power to you. And I'm happy to know that you all liked this session. If you really like, then I would happy— I'm happy like to bring her again, like in, like, so like in music therapy as part of World Health Day celebrations. We have World Health Day conference, not celebrations. We have a conference we are planning. So maybe during that time I can bring her to talk about health and as well as how it impacts the physical—
how—
what is the role of music in health. So that is what we are going to plan. Yeah, so, uh, then now that you have said, like, we first— many people are requesting that they want to go for bhajan. Yeah, so let me share my screen. You please let me know which one should, should I highlight.
Bhajan and Shiva, this one.
Okay, this one, right?
Yeah.
Oh, before I start the bhajan, I want to make one more announcement. I am a trainer. I am conducting a diploma in music therapy course also. I have already trained about 100, 120 students so far. Like, it's one year online course on to know about the health and therapeutic aspects of Indian music. So I am doing that. Like, I just wanted to share with you, that's all.
Thanks.
So the people, any age group can enroll for that?
Yeah, yeah, definitely. Those who are interested to know the deeper dimensions of Indian music from health perspective, they can join, they can enter.
So they can reach out to you, right?
Yes, yes. Thank you.
Please go ahead.
It is a bhajan on Shiva. Om Namah Shivaya, Shivaya Namah Om. Om Namah Shivaya, Shivaya Namah Om.
I think all of them can repeat after you.
They have to mute, and anyway they are muted, no?
Yeah, they are muted.
They have to sing on their own.
Okay, okay, okay. After you, we will sing.
Yeah. Om Namah Shivaya, Shivaya Namah Om. Om namah shivaya, shivaya nama om. Har har har har haraya nama om. Shiva, Shiva, Shiva, Shiva, shivaya nama om.
Har har Mahadeva. Har har Mahadeva. Har har Mahadeva. Shambho Mahadeva. Shambho Mahadeva. Shambho Mahadeva. Har har har, Harayanama Om! Shiva shiva shiva shiva shivayana Maom! Har har har, Harayanama Um!
Shiva, Shiva, Shiva, Shiva, Shiva.
Shambho Mahadeva. Shambho Mahadeva. Dhamma, Dhamma, Dhamma, Dhamma, Dhamma, Rubhaje. Hare Hare Mahadeva. Shambho Mahadeva. Shambho Mahadeva.
Little fast. Om namah shivaya shivaya nama om. Har har har har har haraya nama om. Shiva shiva shiva shivaya nama om.
Shiva, Shiva, Shiva, Shiva, Shiva.
One more time we'll chant along with you. You can go ahead.
Om namah shivaya, Shivayen nama om hara hare hara here, Harayanama Om Shiva! Shiva! Shiva! Shiva! Shivayena mamaom Hara hare hara here, Harayanama Om Shiva! Shiva! Shiva! Shiva! Shivayena mamaom Hara hare Mahadeva—
ah?
Ahh?!
Har har har har har har.
Wow, awesome.
Thank you, thank you so much for teaching this bhajan today.
And, um, recording of this song in only in my voice, they can listen and practice.
Sure, sure, sure, sure. And also I am posting this, dear friends, uh, I am posting this picture. Like, you have anything to share, like, before I will go to the next segment? Go ahead.
I'm really blessed, you know, like, uh, to, you know, share whatever, uh, little knowledge in this precious human life. God has given me many things. So I really, I always feel I'm very rich and blessed. And I was always feeling that I'm a diamond. That's why I came to Diamond. I just, you know, but it was some, you know, polish was needed for me because of, you know, physical challenges, because of overstrain, no. So I thought I must take a break and understand my own self, go deeper into my inner self. So now I realize that I can overcome all the physical challenges and do whatever I want to do. I told, you know, I want to experiment all 100 ragas. That is my goal of this life. And I have 100% support from my Parameshwara, who is a real— you know, rhythm— you can arrange one session from him on rhythm. He will play very well and he can speak.
I would love to do that. I would love to do that, especially definitely rhythm as a therapeutic intervention.
He has done many researches also, like activation of chakras through rhythm. So both of us, we are raga and tala, so we have been leading a wonderful life. I have two children, both of them are married and settled in abroad, so only is the music, me and Ravi and Mrudanga. That is our life. All our students, it's Vishvakutumba. I believe in that. So very, very happy, very blessed. Today being Mahashivaratri, you have given me blessed, you know, most unforgettable, most— I will cherish this day throughout my life. God bless you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much.
God bless you all. You are doing such a wonderful service to humanity at this young age. I see a small Ishwara in you.
Thank you.
God bless you.
Yes, yes, go ahead, Ramaji, if you would like to have any— anything like you would like to share, small thing, go ahead.
Hello, sir, am I audible?
Yes, you are.
So I want to talk in Telugu, so I can't express When you are praying, the tears is coming out. We can't hold our TS. So very, very, very blessed day. So, so much of thanks to you and Badri sir. So unexpected surprise. So, so much of thanks to you.
More and more.
So God bless you more and more with grateful blessings, sir.
Definitely, He has already spoken to me. In fact, I told everybody that I will teach chanting of Soundarya Lahiri Shlokas along with other health-related shlokas. Definitely I can teach. And actually I want to share with all of you, my life goal was to sing like MS and become world famous. That was my goal since childhood. But God wanted me to do something different than MS. Definitely I know I have a very divine melodious voice which is a boon to me, and I have nurtured it and I have done lot of sadhana. And it is because of the Divine Grace, no? God said, you, you are so well educated, so you blend both, and spiritual Masters are there in my life. So it was the Divine plan. Let your music be healed, you know, let it be a healing medium for others. So whoever comes to me, you know, all of them have been helped. So what else I need? Madhuri, tell me.
From my— I learned little bit But I learned so much in only one hour, Ma'am. So, so much of thanks. Please, I want the Sudha Mapiyaswadhiha, one shloka, Ma'am. So, through this shloka, we will get blessings from Amma.
That's all.
Yes, yes, yes.
How long it will take?
It will take 2 minutes. Okay, go ahead, please go ahead.
Very powerful shloka, sir.
Sure, sure, sure. Yes, thank you, thank you so much. Today you're not allowing me to teach anything. Yes, great. It's okay for me also. I'm in fasting today, so I'll also get some rest. So with my fasting— yes, thank you all. So meanwhile, I'll ask Shilpa ji, like, would you like to share meanwhile before— like, yeah, go ahead. What would you like to share?
Thank you, sir. Thank you so much. I will keep asking for blessings for you till my last breath. And ma'am, as you can make out, I'm not trained into this great art. I don't have a good voice, which is what I think. But I love chanting mantras. And it was great chanting the Shiva bhajan with you. And Yes, music is truly divine. And thank you for teaching wonderful things today. And like, it was very knowledgeable. And now even I understand there are certain times when I go back to same bhajans or chanting. So why I— that instinctive feeling is there. Today I need this. Today I need, um, Devi bhajan. Today I need Shiva bhajan. That feeling is there from side. And music is very dear to me. I can like live with music all my life. And thank you for coming and teaching us so much. And please keep coming.
That is about all.
I'm part of Diamond Group now. Whatever Madhuri says, I will definitely do it. Thank you, ma'am.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Thank you. Thank you, sir.
So you have asked one shloka. I will sing that. Sorry, my voice did not cooperate.
Yeah, yes, thank you, thank you so much, thank you so much.
That's powerful, and thank you means a lot. And thank you so much for your time. I know most of you would like to talk, so what I want all of you to do is, because she is also part of membership, she can also able to see. I want all the 600 members, whoever is here, please go, go to open your app and share how was the experience, how was the experience. And so depending on that only, we'll also get motivation to do more. Right, other higher or I will get motivation once you go and share what did you learn today and how did it— how did you feel after the today's session. So go and open your app and share under this comments, under comments. Don't share it in the feed section, okay? So what's in your mind, share it only under your— under the comments, under this post, so that we will also able to understand like how much did you like this session. Yeah, perfect, perfect answer. Thank you so much. You can also read that later on. And, uh, so, and the people who are joining, like, thank you so much, thank you so much. Yeah, we'll, we'll bring you again later on. And I think, do you have any other plans also today?
You're asking me? Yeah, yeah, no, I just want to relax. That's all.
Yes, yes, I know, I can understand.
I can understand.
Yes, please, please, thank you so much. We'll do the meditation, it will be also relaxing.
Sure, sure.
Yeah, thank you.
So thank you all. And, uh, so I hope you enjoyed this session, like Indian classical music integrating with meditation. Some people are saying like, uh, I joined to learn breathing exercise and meditation and why I'm doing all of this and all. So just wanted to tell you, this is a bonus class, this is not part of your classes, yes or no? So it's completely fine. And I know like there are hundreds of people who are appreciating this. And just, uh, like, just wanted to tell you that this is a special session because they might have joined recently. They did not know, they thought this is a session and they have joined. And also I wanted to understand, I want to all tell you all too, meditation is different for each and every person. You can also meditate while doing puja, you can also meditate while doing asanas. You can— meditation doesn't mean that you, uh, like, I have to say that this is meditation, you do meditation. Even when you're cooking, you can do meditation.
How many of you know that, right?
Even if you're painting, you can do meditation. So meditation cannot be taught, it has to happen. So whatever she sang right now, if you really understand the meaning of it, if you— the only people who understand this are the one who has the divine blessings, I can say. This is the only way to go closer to the God. This is the only way to go closer to the God, which is the highest goal of anyone's life. Or else they will only run behind the material things, run behind their external things, run, run, run, die, again like born, again run, again accumulate karma, again keep dying, birthing, dying. They don't have any life in their life. They're not living the life. Like, so they are actually surviving the life. Those people are just surviving the life. You can do meditation walking also, eating also with pranayama also, and anything. But whatever I am— what I am going to do right now is just to connect with Shiva's energy, that's all, right? So it doesn't mean that you have to come to the meditation session, then only meditation happen. Meditation can be done in any forms. Even if you do morning yoga, 6 o'clock yoga, If you do in a meditative state— today we did a meditative yoga. How many of you are there? You can also do that with asanas. You can integrate. How many of you enjoyed that meditative yoga? That's powerful, right? So that, that way also, uh, like you can also do meditation. But there are so many people like this— Indian classical music has that power. So, uh, like, uh, since childhood we all know that this is there, but it Exactly like in 2022, one, when I went to Trupath concert, that moved me. And, uh, like, I don't know, like, what really, like, motivated me to go and connect with that and do more work towards the classical art forms, right? So that, then it has started. Everything has started from that day. Like, I know how it impacted me on my life, and people are unaware how much impact it has on their— it is going to have in your lives.
That's all.
Initially you may feel boring. I know that it's boring and all, but once you start listening and observing, closing your eyes and meditating, not longer time, for at least 10 minutes, right? So we may feel boring because other musics are very stimulating, right? So other, uh, like music, that's why we keep on that, like, like listening to that. But this also, you'll understand the depth of it once you start meditating on this for 5 to 10 minutes, not more than that. And once you also start singing, you will see more changes in your life also. Yeah, so, um, Sanskrit is not necessary. I don't think she sang in Sanskrit. Like, some of the things she has sang in Sanskrit, but the— like, um, you can also sing in English. I think Meenakshi ji— I'm not sure she's here— she has composed some songs in Indian classical music with English lyrics. English lyrics in classical form, classical ragas. You can also use English lyrics in classical raga.
That's all.
Indian classical music is not Sanskrit. What we have learned right now is some shlokas. Adi Shankara Charya has written some shlokas and all in Sanskrit, right? So, but all the cinema music and all are also Raga only. They have made all with ragas only, Indian classical, like all the, like Bollywood music, Hollywood music and everything, right? It doesn't— it's not required. You don't require— like there are so many songs, there are so many poems which also doesn't require— like there are— we have in Telugu, in Kannada, we have a lot. How many of you know that in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, there are so many people who have contributed, so many chants are there? Everything was there. So you— but we— like, what music does is they implement raga into that, uh, that whatever we have. Like, we have Annamaya Kirtans. Annamaya Kirtans are very, very famous in Telugu states. Annamaya Kirtans, they sang in different ragas. So it is not at all mandatory. Sanskrit is not at all mandatory. Your willingness to learn whatever language So once she sang, like, I'm not sure whether she's here or not, but she sang a Hindi-English song in, uh, so would you like to try that once in raga, Meenakshi ji? So people like English one, yeah, in raga.
I composed, uh, healing qualities of music in English because me and Ravi sir had an opportunity to conduct a workshop for children with autism in US. So almost 30 students had joined, 30 children with autism had joined. So definitely I could not relate through my music, no, like, so some rhythm actually clicked because rhythm has no language, you know, rhythmic language. So they started liking it, but I just thought I must compose something in English. So I just composed like this: music is melody Music is rhythm. Music is harmony blended with pitch and tune. Music makes me happy, music makes me— something like that. It's come— it comes— it has 3 stanzas. It is in YouTube. I will share the link. So 3 stanzas, all healing qualities. You know, instead of just explaining, I thought let them internalize through singing. They love— they just loved it.
Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. I just wanted to tell you all that, like It doesn't require like, you know, you need to know particular language. Music itself a language.
Yeah, okay.
So now I want all of you to sit comfortably, relax your shoulders. And also I'm sharing the link again, once again, to book the consultation. Those who still thinking about the diamond, if you want to know about that, so you can click on the book and book the consultation with ₹299 only, and one of our consultants will reach out to you and help you guide Yeah, please sit comfortably, spine erect, shoulders relaxed, palms facing upwards. Observe your breath. Inhale and exhale slowly.
Breathe in and breathe out. Within every inhalation, take positivity, happiness. With every exhalation, release your tensions, worries. Breathe in slowly, breathe out slowly.
Keep focusing on your breath.
Inhale slowly, exhale slowly. Today is Shivaratri. The night of stillness, the night when Shiva sits in deep meditation and Shiva Shakti unites. Shiva is not outside. Shiva is pure awareness. There is an awareness which is watching your breath, which is watching your body.
Which is watching your thoughts.
That is what he is. You can give him any name, whatever name you wish to give, but he is just pure awareness. Tonight we are going to awaken Shiva inside us through breath, through dharana, through rising energy. Take a few slow, deep breaths and mentally visualize the Shiva in front of your eyes and repeat the Panchakshari mantra, Om Namah Shivaya, mentally. Now slowly take your attention towards your Muladhara chakra, the base of the spine. At the base lies the sleeping energy, the potential, the Kundalini. Inhale slowly. Feel energy at the base. With every inhalation, take the prana towards your Muladhara chakra. Fill your chakra with your prana. Try to energize that region of Muladhara, the base of the spine. With every inhalation, you are energizing With every exhalation, you are releasing fear and insecurity. With every inhalation, energize the Mooladhara Chakra, the root, the base of the spine. And with every exhalation, release the fear, insecurities.
Repeat this for 7 breaths.
Mentally chant: Lam, Lam, Lam. Visualize a small red globe becoming brighter. Say silently to yourself, I am stable, I am rooted. Now slowly Take your attention to lower abdomen, the Swadhisthana chakra. Like Ganga flows from Shiva's head, let emotions flow without blockage. With every inhalation, try to energize the Swadhisthana chakra.
Below your navel, below your abdomen.
With every exhalation, release the guilt and emotional pain. Keep energizing the Swadhisthana, below abdominal region. With every exhalation, while exhaling, Remove all the guilt, emotional pain.
Repeat this for 7 breaths.
And mentally chant, Vam, Vam.
Vam.
Feel emotional purification. Now slowly move your attention towards the Manipura chakra. Inner fire. Focus on your navel center. Navel center. Imagine that Shiva is burning negativity in the fire of awareness. Burning negativity in the fire of awareness. With every inhalation, Feel golden fire. With every exhalation, release your anger, doubt. With every inhalation, energize your Manipura chakra. While exhaling, release your anger, doubt. Continue this for 7 breaths. Now slowly mentally chant Ram, Ram, Ram. Feel the strength and transformation. And now slowly bring your awareness to heart center, to the heart center, Anahata Chakra, the pure compassion. Shiva is pure compassion. Parvati is pure love. With every inhalation, feel green light expanding in your heart region. With every inhalation, energize the heart region and absorb the expansion of green light in your heart region, anahata region. With every exhalation, release past hurt. With every exhalation, release your past hurt. While inhaling, energize your heart chakra Feel the green light expanding. Heart is filling with love, compassion. Every exhalation, release the past hurt. Mentally chant.
Yum.
Feel the vibration in Anahata region, heart region.
Yum.
Yum.
Feel the forgiveness.
Now slowly move your awareness towards Vishuddha Chakra. Focus on your throat region. Shiva, known as Neelakant, Shiva drank poison but held it in his throat. He transformed poison into power. With every inhalation, feel blue light at throat. Try to energize your Vishuddha chakra while exhaling. Release negative words and guilt. With every inhalation, energize your throat region, throat chakra, Vishuddha chakra. Feel the blue light expanding. Every exhale, release the negative words and guilt. Now slowly and mentally chant. Ham, ham, ham. Feel purification. Now slowly move your attention towards the third eye chakra, Ajna chakra. Bring your attention to your eyebrow center, the Ajna chakra. When Shiva opens his third eye, ignore— ignorance disappears. When Shiva opens his third eye, ignorance disappears. When we open our— when we understand our awareness, who we are, our ignorance will disappear. With every inhalation, energize your Ajna chakra. Deepen your awareness. Be— see yourself as a observer. With every inhalation, deepen your awareness. With every exhalation, observe your thoughts Slow down. While inhaling, you're energizing Ajna chakra, deepening the awareness. Exhaling, thoughts are slowing down. Now mentally chant Om.
OM. OM.
Feel the clarity with every chant. Now slowly move your awareness towards the Sahasrara chakra, the union with Shiva. Bring your awareness to crown of the head, the crown of the head, the top of the head. This is the seat of pure consciousness. This is a Shiva state. With every inhalation, observe that white light descending. With every exhalation, surrender your ego. Inhale slowly, observe the white light energize your Sahasrara chakra. Exhaling, surrender yourself, surrender yourself, surrender your problems to that Shiva, that divine power. Surrender your ego, I-ness. And chant Om Namah Shivaya, Om Namah Shivaya, Om Namah Shivaya.
Aah.
Sit in the silence. Feel that stillness. Feel the stillness, calmness. Now slowly imagine energy rising from root to the crown, energy rising from your root chakra to the crown chakra. With every inhalation, awareness move up, upward. With every exhalation, observe the light spreading in whole body. With every inhalation, awareness is moving upward from your Muladhara to Sahasrara chakra. Visualize that with every exhalation, the light spreading whole body. Keep repeating this for 7 rounds. Once you're done, sit quietly. Feel stillness. Feel vastness. Feel inner Shiva. Shivaratri means moving from darkness to awareness, from fear to freedom, from body identity to pure consciousness. May thy inner Shiva awaken.
Now slowly and gently Bring your awareness back to your breath. Become aware of your surroundings.
Rub your both hands.
Cup your eyes.
Open your eyes within a cup of your palms and slowly and gently release your hands.
How are you feeling?
Great, um, great. Thank you. Now, as you all know, one of the most important mantra on the Shivaratri day which you all have to practice This Mahāmrityunjaya Mantra has so many qualities.
In yoga, we give a lot of priority to two mantras: Gayatri Mantra and Mahāmrityunjaya Mantra. A lot of priority in meditation, chanting, and all.
So first of all, before I start this, I want to ask you all, what is death? What is death?
No life. Rest of the body, moksha, prana, no prana, freedom. If it is real freedom, then why are you worried? People are saying moksha, blah blah blah. Then you have a lot of fear. People have a lot of fear about that, stopping life, living life.
Yes, physical death, loss, disease, I agree. But you know, we experience small deaths every day. A death of ego, death of identity, death of expectations. Death of comfort, right?
So Mahamrityunjaya mantra, Mahamrityunjaya, it's not about leaving your body and go away, right? You have to do your duty for coming to this planet. So he has chosen you, chosen your body. That means there is a purpose he has chosen your body. To enter into your body and do something, right? It's not your life. It's he has chosen this body to come in this life and do something in this life. It's not about leaving the body and going away.
Mahamrityunjaya is a victory over fear of these deaths— death of ego, identity, expectations, comfort.
Understanding the reality, right? So today let us chant Mahamrityunjaya mantra for few times because very, very powerful one. Mahamrityunjaya mantra, from fear to freedom. It is not about escaping your physical death, not superstition, not magic. It is about freedom from fear, freedom from ego and attachment. Freedom from psychological suffering. Psychological suffering. Very, very powerful mantra, has a lot of benefits. I've seen so many people who are able to overcome their fears and all. I'll explain that later. So this is how it goes. I think most of you know this. I'll also chant once, then we'll practice. We'll do some sadhana for 11 times. 11 times we can chant this. Oh, it's not it's all of you.
So what does it mean?
Om means universal vibration, we know. Trimbakam means three-eyed one. Three petals means three eyes, right? So he has three eyes. One is the third eye, is the consciousness, our awareness, right? We two eyes, we see external things, but when we close our eyes, we see something.
Yes. So that is called the third eye, which is pure awareness.
There is some awareness which is visible, which is there. That is what 'trayambakam,' the third eye one, the symbol of awareness beyond duality. 'Ejāmahe,' we invoke, we worship to you. 'Sugandhim,' the fragment that which spreads naturally. Fragrance. When he is there, the fragrance will appear. That which nourishes and strengthens. Pushthi. Pushthi means nourishing, right? Very, very important. Means like a melon. When a melon creeps Once it knows that, like, it cannot withhold, it drops down. Yes, melons will drop down. Like that, release that bondage from this life. We are asking, release that, remove me from that bondage, the attachment from bondage, like a melon from bondage. Liberate me from this bondage. Moksha amrutat— from death liberate us, not from immortality, but into immortality, right? So we also have like a lot of holding on something. Like, when it has to leave, it will leave. It's not leaving right now. It has to leave, it will leave. But you should not keep on holding it. The bondage has to be like eliminated, right? So yeah, melon or cucumber, whatever it is you consider. So we meditate upon the three-eyed consciousness which nourishes and sustains all life. Sustains all life. May we be liberated from the bondage and fear. 'As a ripe fruit effortlessly detaches from the vine.' Once the fruit is ripe, it gets detached from the tree, right? So mangoes and all, you saw falling once it is ripe. We also, once we are ripe, we also get detached from this body. So that is what this mantra is talking about. That is what this mantra is talking about, dear friends.
A beautiful, beautiful mantra to overcome.
Like somebody has asked, like, I have a lot of fears and all. You can do this mantra if you wish. It's not about religious, it's about we all are connected with one universal consciousness. Irrespective of faith we are coming from, irrespective of belief we have, irrespective of region we are in, It depends on religion we are in. We all connected with one source, one common source, that one common consciousness. If the every human being on this planet will realize this, we don't need to fight among our countries, we don't need to fight among our nations. We can have a beautiful world. All these differentiations are happening, fighting is happening because We identify with our ego, we identify with our I-ness, that I-ness. That is what spoiling this whole world. I am the best, I am the great, I am the one, I need, I want to be the great nation, I want to be this.
This is the way like yoga has an important role to play.
They are not mad, Gurudev Ravishankar or Sadhguru or whomever, Indian government, or like the people who have given International Day. They are not mad. They know like kind of things happening in the world.
The world needs peace.
Everyone seek peace at the end. Along with progress, we need peace. Progress without peace, there is no use of that progress. We all know that you can be happy by earning ₹10,000 also. You cannot be happy by earning ₹10 crores also. It's a state which defines depending on your desires which you're having, right?
So while we are chanting this, feel like— take that blessings, take Aim for that, right?
Triambakam means three eyes. The three eyes, three-eyed person, third eye, witnessing awareness. The witnessing awareness, the third one is the one which is witnessing, right? So liberation is not forceful. You should not forcefully liberate from this body. It is maturity, like it will happen naturally, but you have to be ready for that.
Right? It naturally detaches this body.
Should not do that forcefully. Ask yourself, are you trying forcefully, or like for spiritual growth, or open for like whenever it comes, the time comes, we are—
we have to leave, right?
So we'll chant 11 times.
Now you can do like loud, then we can do whisper also, then we can do mentally also.
First 9 will chant loudly, then we'll chant in a small like a whispering sound, then last one, last 2 will chant mentally.
Yeah, we'll chant mentally.
So I want, while you are doing this, like, what fear, what bondage you want, what attachment, what identity you want to leave?
Imagine that. Okay, yes, let me share my screen.
Oh, trembakam yejamahe sugandhim pushtivartanam urvarkame vabandanam vityurmukshiya mamritaat. Om trambakam yajamahe sugandhim pushtivadanam urvarkamevabandanam pratyor mukshiya mamritaat. Om trambakam yajamahe sugandhim pushtivadanam urvarkamevabandanam pratyor mukshiya mamritaat. Om Trambakam Yejamahe Sugandhim Pushthivadanam, Purvakam Evabandhanam, Mrityormukshi Yamamrutat. Om Trambakam Yejamahe Sugandhim Pushthivadanam, Purvakam Evabandhanam, Mrityormukshi Yamamrutat. Whispering. Last. Next one, 10th time, whispering.
Now chant mentally. Keep chanting. Now slowly observe your breath. Internally repeat, 'Mrityour mokshya, mrityour mokshya.' What is your bondage? Fear, attachment, identity? Say it gently. Now imagine It detaching like a ripe fruit. It is detaching like a melon. No force, no drama, just release. Every inhalation is our life. Our inhale is life, exhale is death, but gap between these breaths is awareness. That awareness is immortal. Slowly and gently, welcome back.
Become aware of your breath.
Become aware of your surroundings. Be in that stillness for a few seconds. Slowly and gently open your eyes. Very good. How are you feeling? Great. Slowly and open your eyes. Now, can we learn one more chant?
Shall we? Are you okay?
So before we close today's session, this is also one of my favorite, which is Yoga Yoga Yogeshwaraya.
Yoga Yoga Yogeshwaraya. Puttaputtaputeshwaraya, Kalakalakaleshwaraya, Shivashivasarveshwaraya, Shambhu, Shambhu, Mahadevaya.
Uh, we'll chant this, but let's understand the meaning.
Salutations to the one, Yogeshwara, who has transcended the physical. Bhuteshwara, the one who has mastered the 5 elements. Kaaleshwara, the one who has mastered time and is beyond its cycles.
Sarveshwara, the one who is everywhere and is the basis of everything.
Salutations to Shambho, the greatest of all, the Mahadeva. So it's about transcending the physical 5 elements and beyond the birth and death cycles and giving the salutations to Sarveshwaraya, who is everywhere.
Yeah, so let's chant together.
Bhuta bhuta bhuteshwaraya, kala kala kaalishwaraya, Shiva Shiva sarveshwaraya, Shambhu Shambhu Mahadevaya. Yoga yoga yogeshwaraaya, puttabhuttabhuteshvaraaya, kala kala kaleeshwaraaya, Shiva Shiva sarveshwaraaya. Shiva, Shiva, Sarveshwaraya. Shambhu, Shambhu, Mahadevaya. Yoga, Yoga, Yogeshwaraya. Bhuta bhuta bhuteshwaraya, kala kala kaaleshwaraya, Shiva Shiva sarveshwaraya, Shambhu Shambhu Mahadevaya.
Last time. Shambho, Shambho, Mahadevaya. So the silent stillness. Believe that he's always with you. When you put your effort, he's there to support you.
When you put your effort without attachment, he's always there to support you.
Slowly and gently open your eyes. Very good.
Yes, this is from Isha. It's one of my favorite too.
Yes, I mean, Isha tunes, like, I think the songs are from Adi Shankaracharya and different, different place, but yeah, they have tuned and they are doing that.
So I know how many of you are still like not gonna sleep tonight, and I know that Diamond members, we have morning session today, like tomorrow.
So you have to be there tomorrow morning, so I don't want you to keep waiting.
And so I know that you have to go to sleep. And anyone would like to share anything, or like Meenakshi Ji, you would like to say anything, like any ending chant for us? So go ahead, and after that I'll take some experiences.
Okay, please, any closing chant?
Okay.
Samastaha sukhinubhavantu. Lokah samastaha sukhinubhavantu.
Thank you, thank you so much, all of you.
I told you, all the 600 members, I want you to go and share. It's not only taking, taking. I know that some of them are only in take mode. You also need to give, okay? So go and share how was the session, all right? So I've been for past 5 days, I've seen I'm seeing like not many people are commenting. Even in some of us also, I have seen like there are 1500 people attended, only 140 people have shared how was their experience. So I want all of you, so what, only when you give, you will get back, okay? So like you only consuming, consuming, consuming, not giving, it's not acceptable. Like when a guest comes and shares, like you can even write at least it was a great session, I could able to see some, like, some— I could able to learn something new. Even if you learn one line, that makes a difference. That means you're putting some effort. It's not only you're in taking mode, you're also in a giving mode and, and, uh, like, acts like gratitude mode, right? So gratitude mode— I have seen like many people, whoever is in gratitude mode. I've observed some people who are keep on complaining, complaining, they suffer, suffer, suffer, suffer. And those are like so grateful, like their healing happens very easily.
Very naturally.
So even now in this session, there are people who are there here who can only look for mistakes, loopholes, and all that. I know those kind of people also. I do get emails and all of those also from there, all right? And, uh, so by the way, before we take any experiences, in case if you haven't and like filled— we only have 4 spots, so please, please make sure that you are paying the deposit and securing that 4 spots. There is no other best day than this. To spend anything. There is no other best way than this, dear friends. Okay, and also, uh, like what I will do is like I am sharing this link also where you can book an appointment for ₹299, just for ₹299, in case if you still have any doubts about joining Diamond Membership. That 4 spots, and our member will reach out to you because we don't want it to give simply for free, uh, like, uh, like, like talking, talking, talking. So only for interested people, you can pay ₹299. Our member will talk to you, one of our member, and they'll explain you about the program and details. If you have any questions, clarifications, you can take the consultation of ₹299, one-to-one consultation.
Okay, yes, good.
Chitra ji, yes, thank you for the most wonderful session.
To.
It was a very apt closing session today with Meenakshi Ma'am giving lovely music therapy. Incidentally, I have learned Veena, I have done my junior in Veena. Yeah, due to other circumstances I couldn't continue, but now I really wish to continue that now that I've retired also. Thank you, Meenakshi Ma'am. It was really, really rejuvenating and very nice and all the bhajans and the Soundarya Devi and the shlokas which you taught also, everything, you know. I'm in a blissful state. I'm really in a blissful state.
Yes, thank you.
Thank you so much.
I don't know how much pampering all the other people require in spite of seeing all this power. This time you have given the special one-to-one talk also. Another pampering you are giving. How much can you cuddle, cuddle, pamper and all that? That's—
yeah, that we have to realize.
It's high time they do. Just like you said, only take, take, take, love to give, no? Something you have to give also, not just taking. See, incidentally, you know, when you had offered at that time, you know, I was thinking, Abhito just now have taken this, so again investing, how to do this? How will I? Because I know, because I don't get any salaries. I'm like earlier, I think I could get the salary. Then for some other reason, you uttered the word credit card. So then suddenly, yes, I need not liquidate what little this one I have in me. So let me take it, I mean, give it, I mean, buy it through credit card. So at my— this one, what do you say? At my flexibility, I can refund because they give 12 months, 24 months, 10 months, anything. You have flexibility. I mean we can arrange on our own.
True.
I think we all have installments. We all have installments. Yes, for something or the other. Car we buy, bike we buy, fridge we buy, everything we buy, but everything will be on installments.
True.
This is also one more installment. This installment is purely for us.
True.
Is what I thought. This was my thought process when I bought.
That level of maturity not many people will have anyway.
So, yeah, they are not small kids, brother. They are mothers and fathers of kids. Yes, every middle income group family will have this problem, and all middle income group live on installments and bank loans. It is the same story. In every household is the same story. Yes, you also pay some money. Yes, yes, yes, everybody does that. Nothing new, I'm not saying anything new. Thank you. But anyway, still not pampering, so I don't know.
Yeah, so we care about them, that's the only— like, we— that's the only reason. Yeah, thank you, thank you so much.
Thank you.
Yes, as I, I can also say that this is one of the best, uh, Shivaratri which I also had. Last two Shivaratri I could not celebrate because of, uh, we lost my grandfather, grandmother, and like one by one, and we could not celebrate. Now this is, uh, again like we are celebrating now this year, and this is one of the Great, I also had along with all of you, all the community members. Next, I would like to bring Sanjay. Go ahead, how has been your experience?
Uh, first of all, uh, I have attended all the sessions, 5 days. Wow, they were totally blissful, the morning and the evening sessions. I think I have commented every And two things which I want to share, like I'm 59. And when I was 10, I had on Doordarshan, if somebody remembered from my age, at 2 o'clock, a movie used to come in black and white. So once I had seen the movie, which I didn't understand at all, but it was, I think, about Adi Shankaracharya, he goes onto the cliff and starts singing in Carnatic music only. So ma'am reminded me of that today. So I went into that era and came back. And from there, I understood that music has no language, and I listened to every kind of music now, from that time onward. Secondly, I am a pre-diabetic, and I used to take diabetic medicine also, but it has all gone about some years ago because of the exercises. But today, for the first time in 30 years, I have been fasting because of what you told us yesterday, that fasting is important.
So I tried it.
Normally, I couldn't hold my hunger. But today, it went like a breeze. Because of all the practices we have done, from Silver membership to the Diamond membership, I am doing it. And I'm very thankful for that, to everybody, all the speakers, and especially to you, so that I can do this. I did this fasting, so that was very great for me. And I have— now I'm thinking of doing it every week.
Hmm. Yes, not every week is not required. You ask your dietitian, but once in 15 days you can do it. Okay, okay, I'll do that.
I'll do that.
And thanks a lot for everybody, all the members who are there. My gratitude to them as well.
Yes, yes, thank you, thank you so much. Even I am into fasting today, like, uh, been since morning. This is the third session I'm taking. This is the third session I'm taking, uh, today. So we did a workshop in the afternoon, and, uh, we did, um, like, now this session in the morning. We had morning session also.
Yeah.
So thank you so much. Because of this, I also got engaged. I don't keep on thinking, I am observing. I feel like eating something, but it's my mind is saying, my body is not hunger, actually stomach is not hunger. My mind is saying that let's eat, let's eat, let's eat something. I am trying to control as much as possible. Okay, so yeah, thank you, thank you so much.
Same thing happened with me also. This morning I had a 5-kilometer run also. And then afterwards, I was thoroughly busy with the society work. And when the 6 o'clock, I had my food.
Awesome.
Last thing I had was 4:36 yesterday. So it was a full 24-hour working and myself, I'm surprised.
Wow. And you're still energetic. Yeah. That's awesome. That's awesome. Thank you, thank you so much.
Thank you.
Yeah, welcome. So more power to you. And next, let's go ahead. I'll bring somebody who did not speak so far, like Kalpanaji, and then I'll bring— come to others.
Okay, go ahead.
Yeah, please raise your hand if you want to share.
Hello. Yes, hello.
Thank you, sir. It was a really marvelous experience. Today's was the epitome of all the 5-day session, attended all 5 days, morning, evening. And in the morning when I spoke, actually, I forgot to tell you one thing that why I was— you asked me why I became a Diamond Member. So actually, when I listened to your first talk itself, Breath Flow Mastery, I'm an anesthesiologist. So we have a lot of experts in the lungs, lung function and physiology and everything. And I really like the way you have linked asanas with various muscle groups and with the various breath practices. And I have advocated your name to so many people in the last one month. And today was an epitome because my own grandson is an artist. So I wanted the music therapy. And today I learned from the wonderful session and I have decided that I will take that because I am in music also. So I will take up that One year music healer therapy course.
Yeah, yeah, yes, yes, yes. I'll also discuss with her like what exactly that program is and all. Let's see, all, if you all CBH members want to enroll one batch, you can do that.
Yeah, yes, yes.
Thank you, thank you so much.
Thank you so much.
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much.
More power to you. And how many of you would like to do that music therapy diploma? Type hi in the chat box.
Yes, go ahead, Shilpa ji.
Uh, just wanted to share something very important. Actually, my mom is not well, and, uh, day before yesterday she was, uh, very serious and has been admitted to the ICU because there is fluid, uh, in her lungs. And this has been happening for last 3 years, and She was very critical yesterday. But frankly, there was like a very peace within me. Whatever will happen will happen for the highest good. And she'll be 85 in June, and there is no fear. Today you were asking whether there is fear of death. And I have been asking myself the same question for the last couple of years, and gradually I realized If I hear somebody has died, I'm like, the person is free. I will find me weird because I am very, I don't know, logical, practical, nonchalant. I don't know what you want to say about it. But I'm fine with whatever the outcome is, just that she's suffering. So that's something we are not able to see. So that, but this sessions have like supported me like anything. If the sessions were not going on, I might have been too stressed. You could have seen on my face that I'm stressed, or I would have not attended, or— but I didn't feel anything. I think she is good in safe hands. Whatever God will decide, it will be for the good. And I had to be here, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart that you gave me this strength because of this Since I got the strength— can I meet that little one, please?
Yeah, she's playing now. Yeah, yeah.
So I just want to thank you from the bottom. Whether others understand or not, whether others value or not, we value you. I value you too much, sir. And please don't change because of some stupid people.
No, no, that's completely fine. That's a part of, uh, like this process. She's my niece, actually. She's my niece.
I know, I know. That's why I want to meet him.
Yeah, come, like, meet. Namaste.
Namaste.
Namaste. Oh my God, she's so cute.
Yeah.
Bye. Thank you, sir. Yeah, thank you. Yes, go ahead.
Go ahead.
When we will took and taste it, then only we can recognize what is the taste of it. So, uh, Powerful slokas. So, 1 minute only.
Okay, yeah, okay, sir, 1 minute.
Speech, 100 slokas. Without knowing, we can't judge anything. First we have to learn, we have to see, and we have to experience it. So that's the power of great music.
Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing. Thanks, sir. Plan. So great, sir. So much of thanks to you. So diamond membership. Fulfilled. So thanks so much, sir.
Thank you, thank you so much, Ramaji.
And great. Thank you, thank you. Thank you, sir. Thank you very much.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Happy to know that like you all are— you all enjoyed all these sessions. And yes, we kept a lot of, lot of, um, uh, like efforts behind this. I would like to thank the CBH team, uh, Soujanya, Mamta, Tushar, and other members also whoever contributed to make this happen. And tirelessly they were working, uh, like everyone, like messaging in the groups and sending you the reminders. Sending you all the things. We spend 2 lakhs only to send WhatsApp reminders for you for these 5 days. That is the cost which goes. It goes personal WhatsApp messages. Nobody gives it for free. If a personally message has to go, like, we have to pay for that, right? So it's automation. I cannot— we cannot sit and send to every person, all the 15,000 members, personal WhatsApp messages. So that is how, like, um, and the Zoom and everything. Like, we also have spent a lot of infrastructure from our side also for Zoom. It costs 1 lakh rupees for 3,000 capacity and calling and everything. Also, we tried our level best, but, uh, like, whoever has that divine support, they will only will get an opportunity to be part of this kind of sessions. But those who have utilized, you have utilized great. And also one more thing, like, all the people who paid the deposit, so please please complete the payments. We have sent all the details to your WhatsApp through— Mamta has sent you all the details how to make your remaining payment, rest of the payment. So please check that links and respond to her and make the complete the payment before the welcome party. Okay, yeah, go ahead Anusha, then I'll come to Subha.
Yes, sir.
Yeah, sir, I cannot turn the video. Turn on the video. Yeah, I have taken up the Diamond membership just within 7 days. Today morning you had asked what was the reason which asked you or which prompted you to take Diamond membership. So if you ask me why, I have got 2 reasons. One, I I'm just 40, but I am living the life as if a 60s person is living, like not able to walk properly, not able to exercise. I am like, you know, I tried to go for yoga, yoga instructors tried to help me, but whenever I did yoga, I was in tremendous pain. Doctors say you walk because you're diabetic. I have thyroid I mean, I got my total thyroidectomy done. So after that, you know, right, if the thyroid itself is not there, we have issues with calcium, thyroid, diabetes, and everything. So considering all these in one go, it is impacting me a lot. I am not even able to walk for 1,000 to 1,500 steps also. So considering all that, when I took the class, this is the first time where I was not scared to do yoga. I was trying to breathe, I was trying to do— though you were trying to give 1-2 repetitions, that also used to give severe body pains to me. But at least now the fear of doing yoga has gone. That's the first thing at least like which has helped me. So the only reason for me getting into Diamond membership is, uh, right now I'm living the life of 60 I want to get back to 35s and 40s.
That's the first.
Second, I want to fulfill the dream of my daughters. They want to travel around India along with me, and my daughter wants to go for a trek along with me. I want to fulfill their wish. The third main reason for which I joined is I've seen few communities where they work only for themselves, and there is not support, there is not a supportive community. Group. But what I saw here is everybody stands for each other. So even if one person is going down, there is that Scorpion story, right? Nobody is trying to pull someone down. Even if one person is pulling down, there are thousands who are pulling it up. So the consistency and the willpower comes from support. So I am lacking those. So when you get into a group with good aura, you will will develop is what I felt. That's the reason why I came here.
Awesome. Thank you, thank you so much for sharing that, Anusha. More power to you, and, um, like, we are there to support you. Everybody, MPTY to Anusha, and all the best. Welcome to that. Soon you are going to back to your 35s. Okay, go ahead.
Namaste, sir.
Namaste.
Uh, one thing I will say, sir, who are waiting for this membership, they taking purpose, I advise them. I am joined in August workshop and immediately I joined in Silver and then Diamond membership. In last 5 months, what I get and what I observing yourself and your— our team is supporting each and every person in joining workshop or Silver membership or whatever Diamond membership. They are supporting very well all the way in all aspects. I advise them, no, don't compare with money any membership, seller membership or workshop, whatever it may be, or a diamond membership. Don't calculate with money. What is the values going on in this CBH family, as a family member we have to add, it is a great thing. I advise all the people who are waiting and looking, comparison with money is not a matter, I think. I advise them to take care about as a one family. We have to— they have to join in this and they get better life in all aspects, free from medicines and everything.
Yes, thank you, thank you.
How was this 3, 5 days?
So fine, sir, so fine. Each and every session, unexpected, we receiving everything, everything.
Yeah, thank you, thank you so much.
Thank you very much, sir.
Thank you very Yeah, I have also posted one more, uh, like, thank you everyone, like, um, that's great. Yes, EMI options are available. So I have posted one more thing, like, how was, like, I never posted this, like, before, but this time, uh, like, somehow I thought of, let me see, like, how was the Mahashivaratri celebrations. And this will also help us to, like, add, like, improve more next year's coming years. Whenever you have time, you don't need to write now only, like, whenever you have time, you can go and explain press like, uh, your, how was the session, whatever you typed in the chat box, you can go and share here. And regarding the music therapy, you can share it here. So accordingly, I will take a decision on how should I integrate this music therapy into CBH. I will also get some clarity because every decision I make by seeing your responses only, right? Whether it is Vedic healing, whether it is other things also, first I will test and I will see your response. If your response, if you are responding See, I want to give what you need. It's not what I want. I want to be clear with all of you. I want in CBH, now our goal is to provide what you need, not we want to teach. Every session, every program, every course is designed because we understood that is a need for the people, right? So, but, uh, like, uh, like, it's not about I know this I want to teach this. If that is the case, from the beginning onwards I would have started teaching at M.A.s and A.M.A.s and like Yoga Sutras. But if I teach that, nobody will come to the classes. I know that what you want in the beginning, so that is what I kept in the beginning. And what you want, that is what— that is how I have created— we have created the things. And also whatever we do, also like even the diabetes challenge, whomever you are going through, I am reading all your comments. We are also discussing internally how can we improvise. On weekly basis, and how can we make sure that you get better results out of this. So we— it's not about like why we should put all that effort and all of those running and all of those programs. We want results for you only, right? So our intention is also to help you to come out of your challenges only. But like, it's about one— like, you also have to take some action in the process. Some of them take, some of them don't have like some traveling, time commitment issues. Various reasons they may delay. It's not like they won't take, but they may delay. It's completely fine. Yeah, so accordingly, like, uh, so please take care. Yes, we have EMI options also. If you wish, you can, uh, like pay that like ₹299 and book a consultation. Or else what you can do is you can pay the deposit of ₹30,000. We'll discuss about the EMI options once you make the complete payment. We have credit card EMI options. I will tell you all those credit card EMI, how that credit card EMI works and all. So here is the link in case if you want to block, okay? But we have only 4 spots. No problem. Like, you— not only you have thyroid BP. If you ask in this room, 20% to 30% people will tell the same problem. Don't worry, that is the reason they are here. It's not that 95% people here came to this platform after they got problems. Along with you. Nobody has come to like my programs like in ₹99 also. 95% people are problem, like you have only 5% people who want to learn something and they'll come, right? So nobody is coming here to like this platform. Very few people, like they are like, I think they are the, like I tell you, tell you that they are the people who are like visionaries and like long-term thinkers. And super, super achievers in their life who comes to this platform without having any health problems. Yeah, so like, uh, the only persons like Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, those kind of people can think like that, my health is so important. All of those people are responsible people. They are maintaining, they are managing something very, very important. Their health plays a very important role too, like, uh manage something very important. That is the reason they'll take their health. So for example, if Satya Nadella gets sick for 1 week, how much it affects the company Microsoft? He knows. That's why he has to take care of his health, right? So same here also, everyone. So you are in top 5%, great. Yeah, so thank you, thank you so much. Naval, you can come to tomorrow our mentor support session. Then again you can speak there also, okay? Or else you can email or you can post in the portal, whatever you want to share, like you can do that, okay?
Yeah, so yes, some of the recordings are available, not everyone, everything.
Yeah, so these are bonus classes. We don't usually give recordings because there is no use of giving recordings, right? So, but today's session got live streamed on YouTube. You can go and check on YouTube channel.
Yeah, perfect.
Thank you so much. It will be there for 2 days.
