With this whole dualism and either or vision of the world of society. I always compare it to flipping a coin. If you've never seen a coin in your entire life, you don't know that the coin has heads and tails. So at any given moment, if you flip a coin or that coin was flipped, if it lands on heads, you think like, oh, a coin is a metal thing that has image of a head and you don't know that it has tails on the other side. You don't even know that it's called heads and tails. But, but you know, because you have seen a coin before that right under that head is a tail. So you know that the coin has both. Even though heads is drowning out tails at any given instance. Well, the same thing is true with emotions. At any given moment, joy is drowning out sadness or sadness is drowning out joy. But you, you have both. And it just takes the flip of the coin to connect with the other side of that coin or that emotion.
