Betsy Guerra offers a way to handle difficult people: instead of reacting when triggered, choose to respond from GRACE, acting from love and curiosity rather than judgment. Ask for grace in tough interactions and show up as your best self.

Situations or with one of these difficult people, we tend to react to what they're exacerbating in us. They trigger us and we react and we have the opportunity to be response able, responsible. Instead of reacting as a lesser version of yourself, you get to respond as your elevated self. The A in grace stands for amor. Or if you want to say it in English, act from love. When you act gracefully towards another person or towards a situation, you're acting from a place of love. You're wanting to be of service. You're wanting to understand your desire is not to hurt or offend someone else. It comes from a different place than when you're trying to be, you know, revenge for when you're resentful. So instead of acting from those low vibrating emotions, you get to respond from a place of love. The C in grace stands for compassion. When we are graceful with other people, we are compassionate. We have mercy. We seek to understand where they're coming from, why they're responding that way, what's going on. We we get curious instead of judgmental. And the E in grace stands for elevated self. When you act gracefully, you are acting as the best version of yourself as the person God created you to be. So next time you're exposed to someone really difficult or you are in tough situations, remember to ask for grace. The gift, the ability to be responsible, the amor, the acting from love that you get to operate out of, the compassion that's going to allow you to be curious, not judgmental, and the elevated self that you were created to be. And act as if this was helpful. Remember to share like, subscribe and if you would like more resources, go to betterwithbetsy.com sa.
