There's a big misconception that pain is the enemy. Let's talk about that. Pain is the first sign of transformation. Think about working out. When you work out, your muscles become sore. They hurt. The reason they hurt is because something's working and the way you're getting results is by your muscles tearing apart to rebuild and become stronger. The same thing happens, happens with emotional pain. We endure that so that we can tear down all our self limiting beliefs and all the unmet expectations that we had and rebuild new paradigms, new belief systems, new opportunities that are going to help us become better and happier. When I lost my daughter, I didn't want to feel the pain. I remember saying, I want to fast forward this time because people say that in time I'm going to feel better. And I have to say that experiencing and enduring that pain was one of the most amazing blessings of my life. Because it was through pain that I humbled myself and that I was able to pause and receive what God wanted me to do. How I could be his vessel. And it's through that pain that I've learned how to serve, how to embrace life in a different lens, how to experience joy, true joy. After such excruciating hurt, it's pain that gives you the opportunity to change your life. If you continue in autopilot, nothing happens, nothing changes. But when you allow yourself to be transformed by the pain that you experience, you learn, you, you grow and you become the person that you were created to be.
