A short, motivational YouTube monologue by Betsy Guerra encouraging people who face adversity to transform personal pain into purpose by serving others. The speaker emphasizes each person’s unique value (like a missing puzzle piece), describes shifting focus from self to others, and issues a call-to-action to get out of bed and share one’s gifts; ends with a subscribe/visit plug.

If you're experiencing some form of adversity, struggle, challenge to not waste it. I am going to teach you how to transform that into purpose. Imagine you're on a family vacation and you are all creating this puzzle. You're building the puzzle and suddenly this 3000 piece puzzle is done and everybody's super and somebody realizes there's one puzzle piece missing and you can't find it anywhere. And you cannot enjoy your art piece because there's one missing puzzle piece. Well, we are all pieces in this puzzle we call universe, and we are all equally important. So if you are dwelling on your pain, if you're bitter, if you're in bed and cannot get out, we're missing you. We cannot enjoy our world without you. You are depriving us of your gifts, the things that only you know how to do, the way you know how to do it. There's only one you of you. We need you in our lives. When I was in a lot of pain, I thought the world revolved around me. I was so focused and submerged in my pain that I didn't think about other parents that lost their child. I didn't think of other people that were enduring other forms of pain. Disease, health issues, financial difficulties, divorce. I just thought about me. I couldn't see the other person. And when I started shifting my eyesight and I looked next door and I realized, like, I am going through this pain, but gosh, my friend is going through this with her son. How can I help her? How can I use my pain and not waste it to give her hope, to help her move forward with what she has to do to help her child overcome his disability? What can I do to serve this other person that feels hopeless because she can't pay her bills? How can I be of service, embody the hope that only a person that has endured pain can embody for someone else? Because I must say, what's given me credibility is not my PhD. It's my pain. And the fact that I have become a testament of hope, of what is possible. I want to see that in you. Get out of bed. If you're not doing it for yourself, do it for the rest of the puzzle. We need your gift. And you are depriving us from being able to enjoy what you have to offer. And before you say anything, you do have a lot to offer. You do. You have unique gifts. So what is your purpose and how are you going to use it to serve? Be part of our puzzle. Because without you, we don't get to enjoy the whole piece.
