Hurt 2 Hope Book Release

Betsy Guerra wrote Hurt to Hope after losing her daughter Fofi, framing it as a gift to continue her daughter's compassion. The book teaches people experiencing grief how to feel pain without entering suffering and move from hurt to hope.

Today would have been Fluffy's 10th birthday. And I am happy to say that today I am celebrating the birth of my daughter as we celebrate the birth of Jesus in Christmas. Fofi was almost three. She was two years and nine months. And she, in those two years and nine months, understood compassion and mercy and she had the grace of God. And I figured since my daughter is the kind of person that would look and see the people that didn't feel seen or felt invisible. Since my daughter is the one that couldn't stand seeing the pain in others without running to them and holding and embracing them with compassion, I figured what better way than to create a gift for my heavenly daughter that allowed her to continue doing that while in heaven. And that's how this book was born.
Her to Hope is a love story of a mom who was once the grieving mother of a toddler turned blessed woman, mother of an angel.
When people ask me, like, how. How do. From Hurt to Hope. I know you were in pain because I saw you and I know you're happy because I witness it now. But how, Betsy? And that question, that question was, I guess it was like God's way of using other people to bring me here.
Hurt to Hope is the lifeline that those that have experienced pain and suffering and despair need in their life.
It's okay to feel the pain and I teach you how to do that without entering suffering because it is possible to feel pain without suffering, but it's not okay not to do something that you were created for.
I recently lost my father and I was able to read this book a few months after. And she not only gives you the tools, but she also makes you feel so validated in what you're feeling and going through. And that just helps with the process. Hurt to Hope is a step by step guide to regaining your joy. Hurt to Hope is closure. Hurt to Hope is grief. But with growth. Hurt to Hope is kind of a promise that you're hurting, but you can get through it and you'll get through it a stronger and better.
