A few weeks ago, I was feeling a little vulnerable this particular night. I couldn't get out of that little hole. Like, I was ruminating about all the reasons why I am not good enough. I'm having these thoughts in the shower, asking God, like, you know, God, help me. Can you teach me how to do this better so I can get it right once and for all? When I get out of the shower, my daughter knocks on the door. She comes in, she starts singing and dancing. And she comes to me and she holds my face with her two little hands and she sings to my face. <LYRICS>When I see your face, there's not a thing that I would change, 'cause girl, you're amazing just the way you are.</LYRICS> I was shaming myself in the shower a few minutes prior, and I was praying to God to help me not feel that shame and just trust that he'll help me. Immediately after I come out of the shower, God himself in the form of my 11-year-old at the time daughter grabs me by my face and, and looks at me with awe and with joy and dancing and singing. I wanted to cry when she came and said that. I, I seriously wanted to cry because I was like, oh my gosh, if this is not God, then I don't know what is.
