Hi, I'm Dion. I went into Betsy's thing not really knowing what it was about. Actually, my mom forced me into it. Couldn't get out. But so I had the same mentality that, like, some other people did that, oh, it's just me wasting my time. But as I got into it, more and more and more sessions, I liked them more, grew to get more friends, got close with people like Betsy. And Betsy just, like, helped me, like, express my feelings in just a really positive way. I enjoyed just basically every day. Betsy would just be the most positive attitude. No matter what was happening to her that day, she'd always just be like, okay, let's do this. Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go. And there's not one day that I saw her that she was either down or in any way. She would always bring this positive attitude to us and just made our day a lot better. Recommend this teen group to other people, basically, just because it helps you just branch out, like with your friend groups. It just brings a whole new light to your world, makes you just a happy person and a better person overall. So I had a reputation of that I was, like, the mean guy in school. I wasn't, as Betsy could tell, but I had that reputation. So I just slowly tried to prove others that that reputation was wrong. Just be nice to everybody. It doesn't matter what they said about me. I'll be try to be nice to them. Just try to make them feel different about me and just hopefully get them to not think me that way and to think me as, like, a nice person that's approachable. This team was good for me to just change out my world, help me become a nicer person, learn how to be that nicer person, and show others that I can be, like, the best that I am and nice person that they want to be with.
