Billy Malady trains his cat Cece to close a partially open door by encouraging her to push it shut when she comes back in. He leaves the door ajar just enough for her to enter, then praises her repeatedly when she does it right.
Hey, when Cece goes out, this is how we close the door. We close it almost all the way and leave it just enough so she can come in. Cece! And then when she comes in on her own, then I got tired of getting up and shutting the door. So Cece, close, close. There, I taught her how to close the door. Good girl! Good girl. That's a good girl. Smile for the camera. Where'd you go?
