All right, I'm out here, uh, in my land. I'm going to give you a little tour of my shooting range. So if you look back there, I've got a few targets. We'll get a little closer, but this wood right here marks the 10-yard mark, and 10 yards to these swinging targets right here. Got a 12-inch and a 6-inch and And back here at 15 yards, we got a 12-inch steel plate. And then down here on the ground at about 11 yards, 11.5 yards, we got these little bitty 4-inch plates that when you hit, it knocks over and spins. And then over here at 11 yards, we got another steel plate. So what I'm going to do now is I'm going to spray them with gray like that right there, so you can see when you hit them. All right, sounds good. So not only do you get an audible, you'll get a spot. All right, here's my gun bag, and what we're going to be shooting today is— I have my.45, we're going to shoot that. I've got my 22 target pistol, and I've got the.357. So we're going to shoot all three of those today. Well, I hit 7. I hit 7 of the 8. Not bad for a warm-up round at 15 yards with a.45. You can see— I'm gonna pull back a little bit— you can see that's what the gray spray paint does. You can actually becomes a target. You can see where you hit that. And then, so not only do you get the audible, you get the visual. You get the spray paint, spray right back over it, brand new target. Okay, here's the, uh, 12-inch swinging target at 10 yards. All right, for some reason this one doesn't make a clang, but, uh, it just swings. So let's see, we've got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. So good round right there.
All right. 1, 2, 3, 4.
I almost hate to shoot this. I've got it so clean. There she is right there. I just cleaned it.
All First, probably right here.
All right, all right, we'll take that. Okay, so it's time to, uh, time to go, uh, change out my trail cams. That was, uh, that was not the best shooting I've done. Uh, I don't know, I did really good with the.45, did good with the.357. The.22, I missed a lot, which is usually the most accurate. So I'm wondering if my sights got, got bumped a little bit. But I wanted to show you what, uh, pretty much what I do when I go change out my cameras. Uh, my equipment, I have my walking stick, and that is mainly to move in front of you in case there's, uh, creatures in the way like snakes. I have my survival knife, I have my machete, I have my snake gaiters, and I have my pistol. And that's pretty much what I do when I walk into the woods. The snake gators are new, so we're gonna do the first one together. Look at that right there.
There's a bullet right there.
Some lead. There's— that's just lead all in here.
All right.
All right, walking into the woods. Got several trails to go. We're gonna take this trail right here. You gotta look in front of you, you gotta look in front of you. These snakes blend in, man. A lot of leaves on the ground right now. All right, so here is the first trail cam right here on the tree. It looks out at this little area right here. A lot of traffic up and down through here. New memory card. Pop this memory card, set it right there so I don't get it confused. New memory card, put it in my other pocket. Turn this bad boy on, check the batteries. Batteries are good. Format the old memory card, and this bad boy is ready to start recording. All right. Alright, just one of the areas here. Lots of rocks. Just gonna keep going up the path till we get to the top of the hill. I'll stop at a couple places along the way and show you the rocks. All right, so this is the area that I call Big Rock because That's a big rock. Probably the biggest one that I've seen out here just sitting out in the open other than the ones that are part of the cliffs. This is named Three Rock. One, two, and three. All right. All right, this— I gotta tell you, this is a serious, serious climb. Mile to get up to the top of my property. But if you look around, you got a great view at the top. So we're getting ready to emerge at the top where there's a clearing.
Ta-da!
Where I'm going to build a cabin. Changed out 2 more cameras. Got a few more to go, so let's keep walking. I'm going to show all these, uh, all these footprints through this mud here. All right, I see something very interesting. We're going to sweep. That's how you make sure the ground's clear. This right here is new, and I can only assume if this was a pig. Man, what a, what a hole he dug. This is why farmers kill pigs, because look at that hole he dug. Wow. Anyway, we should be able to get him on camera because there's a— yeah, this is interesting. Here's a cactus, and on top of the cactus Odd place. Well, this tree's been dead for a while, but it was so interesting looking just sitting there along the, uh, path of the road. I never cut it down, but now looks like I have to. It's blocking the road. All right, so I've moved it out of the way. Inside when it broke in half. Yeah, an ant nest all along. All right, down the road we go. It's new. I can only assume that this was a pig. Man, what a, what a hole he dug. This is why farmers kill pigs, because look at that hole he dug.
