Foreign. Am I ever going to get rich? Am I ever going to make it? Or am I stuck in this rat race of my little business forever? Or as an employee for the rest of my life? Hey, I'm Blair Singer. And before I forget, if you want to build any kind of a business, become rich at all in this lifetime, just go to Blair singer.com forward/plan and we'll give you a plan as to how to get there totally free. Just come check us out. But right now, I'm going to give you the seven skills. Seven skills that if you think you could be rich but you're not and you have these skills, there's hope for you yet. And if you don't have these skills, you better pick them up really quickly. So there's only seven. Seven skills. And anybody can do it, but very few people will. Number one. Number one is obviously you know me, you got to be able to sell. Why? Sales equals income. If you can't sell, you can't generate income for your business. No matter how good your product is, you won't be able to recruit, you won't be able to raise capital. But if you know how to sell, you can do all of those things and you can learn them very, very quickly. I've seen people, I've had friends that have had great ideas, great products, just never were able to get make money with it because they never learned the basics of how to sell. My 19 year old, no, today he's 20, sorry. Is learning knocking on doors. That's his first job. He's learning by knocking on doors and learning to face rejection. And, and the number one skill in his life is to learn how to sell. Number one. Number two. Number two. If you're going to build a business, are you going to be rich? You've got to be able to be calm and patient. Calm and patient. Right. Why? Why? Everybody wants money now. Want to make money quickly. I'm not patient. And impatience is a virtue. No, it's not a. Okay. Learn to be calm in the eye of a storm, in crazy times. If you're the one that can slow your breathing down, keep your blood blood pressure a little low, you'll be the person that will do extremely well. Okay. Other people will be freaking out, but you will be patient and calm and you will see opportunities that other people don't see. Now again, does this take school? No. Do you want this in school? No. Do you need to go to a university to learn this? No. Do you need. You can do this. You can do this. And as a result, coupled with the first one, which is the ability to sell, is you can on your road to becoming rich. Number three. Number three, your ability to be able to gravitate and pull a group of people together, that's called a team. Okay? Every person is rich knows that in order that no great endeavor is a solo deal, it's something that you do with other people. Okay? Whether you're climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, whether you're building a business, whether you're mounting a marketing campaign, whatever it is you're trying to do requires more than you. And so your ability to be likable, to have vision, to be able to pull people together is going to allow you to help build teams and more on that. By the way, if you're interested in that, if you go to. I'm going to put this up here right now. If you go to BSTA tv, BSTA tv and pick up a free trial membership. Free trial membership. By the way, all the videos on there are not on YouTube. All the stuff that the, the most precious of all my video content is on is at BSA TV, not on YouTube. There's a ton of free content of building teams, how to sell, how to be a great world class presenter. If that's something that you, that you want to be, okay, say so. BSTA tv. All right, where are we? Number four. Number four. Ah. The number four skill is the ability to face the facts and pull the trigger. Okay, I'm gonna say it again. Face the facts. Know exactly what you're looking at. The good, the bad and the ugly. Whether it's in business, it's in your life, whether it's in your relationship in the mirror. Looking at your body, looking at your health. To be able to look at it, assess, assess it accurately and then make a decision, not make a decision. Well, I'll make a decision next week. Well, make a decision in four days. No, no, now you can make a decision and pull the trigger. Why? Well, there's another skill that you'll learn that I'll teach you in a second here, but your ability to assess accurately. You know, some people stick their head in the sand. They don't want to look at it. I don't want to look at the news. I don't want to look at my bank account. I don't want to look in the mirror. I don't want to look. I know what it already says. I know what it looks like. No, look at, look at it and be willing to tell the truth about it. And then pull the trigger. Pull trigger on what? Make a decision to do something about it. To make a decision to improve it. Make a decision to stop doing something. Make a decision to. To make a friend. Seek a mentor, whatever you need to do. Again, did you learn? Do you have to learn this in school? No. None of this stuff is in school. So you can be rich, remember? Let me review. Number one, your ability to sell. Number two is your ability to pull a team together. Actually, to be calm and patient. Pull a team together. Okay. And to be able to assess accurately and pull the trigger. Okay, what's the next one? Ah. You need. Number five. You need to have a student mindset. What's that mean? We willing to learn. Be willing. Don't ever, ever, ever, ever say, I already know that. Ever. Just eliminate that phrase from your vocabulary forever. Don't say I already know it, even if you know it, because you may hear it differently, you may see it differently. Okay? Those that. Well, I already know that. Or try to prove to somebody how smart you are. Don't do that. Be a student. Be humble. Be willing to learn. Seek the best and learn. And if you have an insatiable need or like or even addiction to learning, it's one of the most important skills to becoming rich. Okay? All right, Number six. Shut up. That's right. Shut the heck up, okay? When other people are talking, just shut up and listen. The most powerful, most influential people say the least. They listen the most, okay? Make sure that you're the person that's listening, calibrating, maybe even taking notes on what you're listening to. If it's an important conference or important meeting or something you're. You're reading or whatever, or you're watching on a video. But just be quiet. Learn to stop. When you feel the need to say something, zip it. Trust me. When you feel the need to say something, zip it. I remember once, a long time ago, very wealthy real estate investor. I don't know, when I was just getting started, we were doing some negotiations and some classes. We're doing some communication classes. And he said to me, blair, he goes, you're very talented. One thing I tell you, you talk too much. I go, what? Because, Blair, you're a great guy. You can do all these things, but you talk too much. Learn to shut up and listen. And that was some of the best advice I've gotten in my entire life. One thing like that, okay? So learn to shut up. All right, Number seven. Number seven. Be aware. By the way, I'm gonna give you Two bonuses. I got. I got nine. I got nine. So what was the first one? Be able to sell. Okay. Second one. Be calm and patient. Okay. Let nature take its course. Don't try to rush things. Do what you need to do and be patient with the results. By the way, if you have more than one thing going on, it's easy to be patient. But if you're only focused on one task, like, I gotta get this product sold. I gotta get this marketing system to work, that's the problem. Because you're only focused on one thing. If you got other things going on, it's easier to be patient with all of them. Okay, be patient. Pull teams together. Ability to face the facts and pull the trigger. Okay. Be a great student. Learn to shut up. Number seven. Be aware of your surroundings. Be aware of your surroundings. One of the differences between teenagers and adults is teenagers operate spontaneously without thinking of what's going on around them. But as you become a mature adult, learn to assess the environment around you. See what's going on? Are people laughing? Are people crying? Are people freaked out? Are people calm? What's going on? Assess. Before you act, assess what's going on in the environment so that when you communicate, you communicate with a level of empathy and rapport for other people. Rather than just becoming disruptive and blowing things up, there's an appropriate time to do that. But if you want to be rich, rich people don't blow things up all the time. Rich people are able to assess the environment. They. Because in there, when you do it, you will see opportunities. You'll see bargains, deals, investment opportunities, business opportunities other people don't see. If you take the time to be aware, how do you do that? Spend about five minutes in the morning and just be quiet. Meditate. Practice calming your mind. That'll handle a lot of this stuff. Okay, that's number seven. Number eight, by the way, if you want to learn these skills, you go to BSTA tv, BSA tv, which is my amazing library of skills on sales and teams. And a lot of free content on how to build teams and how to set up your selling cycle. Go there for your free trial. By the way, none of that stuff's on YouTube, so you're only going to find it up there. Okay. All right, number eight. Actually, I'm going to flip number eight and nine. Nine is the ability to take. Eight is the ability to take a risk. Take a risk. Obviously, if you can be a good investor, we got to be good. Take a risk. But you got to be willing to correct Quickly, okay? Risk is not a problem. Making a risk and getting stuck with a bad decision, that's bad. But being able to risk and then also being able to correct. If you want to be rich, you're going to make a lot of mistakes, a lot of them. And the biggest mistake is not making a mistake. I'll say it again, the biggest mistake is not making a mistake. So you want to be able to make mistakes. Invest the money. Okay? It's okay to invest a little bit of money in something you're not quite sure of as long as you've done some research. But if it doesn't work, cut your losses soon, okay? Be willing to make decisions and to take the risk. Because again, risk, we all know about risk and reward. I'm not a big advocate for taking risks all over the place, but you got to be willing to jump in because at the minimum, you're going to learn something. At the minimum, you'll get bigger. And there's an old adage that says in bad deals is where you find good people. I'll say it again. In bad deals is where you find good people. A lot of people that are partners of mine and people that I've worked with, I met in on deals or in projects that didn't work out at all. But as a ripple effect of taking the risk and making the jump, we're making a lot of money together. Okay? So again, that. That. Be willing to do that. And number nine, last one, let's review real quickly. You got to be able to sell. You got to be calm in the eye of the storm. Okay? Again, these are skills you may already have. Okay? Ability to sell, convince people. Right. Be calm in the eye of the storm. Be able to gather people together on a project or a team. Ability to face facts and make a decision and pull a trigger. Okay? To be. Be a great student. Have a student mindset. Be willing to learn all the time. Shut up. That's number six. Just shut up and learn to listen more. Be aware of your surroundings. Risk, and be able to correct quickly. And then the last one, most important one of all again, is learn to trust yourself. I trust myself. I say it every morning. It's one of my affirmations. I trust myself. I believe in myself. I have faith in myself. And sometimes I have to say these things out loud. Again, none of these things are taught to you in school. But if you have these nine skills, you will be wealthy, you will be rich. And even if you're a naturally impatient person, it'll happen faster. Than you think. Okay. So hopefully this is a benefit to you. I'd love to get some feedback.
