This is a short interview/testimonial by Akilah (Akilah King), a transitioning veteran who attended Blair Singer's Ultimate Personal Development Program. She emphasizes the program’s value in teaching a “new context and new rules” for civilian life, says she will pursue entrepreneurship based on what she learned, and highlights lessons on team building (managing energy, observing teammates), sales (a mindset — managing your "little voice"), and sustainable health (lifestyle she can maintain). She recommends the program to anyone seeking an immediate, meaningful impact and thanks Blair and Mac for their influence.
Hi, I'm Akilah King. I'm at Blair Singer's updp.
So tell me, what did you enjoy most about the program?
What I enjoyed most about the program as a transitioning veteran is the big idea of new context and new rules.
And how are you going to use these new context and new rules?
Well, life's changed since I've got out of the army, and it's been an adjustment to the new context of being out in the civilian world and as long as well as the rules that go with it. And because of that, I figured that I'm going to become an entrepreneur based off what I've learned here and the experiences and relationships that I've gathered over this time.
What have you learned about team building? Because I know you learned a lot in the army, but what did you learn here?
Well, one of the biggest lessons I learned about team building here is I need to manage my energy when dealing with teammates that don't have the same level of training that I do. But by being observant and understanding my teammates point of view, the team can come together closer and faster.
And what did you learn about sales?
I learned that sales is a mindset and managing your little voice, you could really explode yourselves in no matter. No matter what you do.
And what did you learn about health?
Health is really, really important, but it has to be sustainable. You have to be able to do it for your entire life. So no more lifting heavy weights for me.
And last but not least, I have a question. Hang on. Oh. And what would you want to say to Blair or Mac? And who would you recommend the program to?
I would recommend the program to anyone that's looking to make an impact on their life, an immediate impact on their life, and take a good look at themselves. And then who wants to make a difference in the world? I'd like to tell Mac and Blair, thank you for being such a powerful influence and helping me take my life to the next level.
