A short motivational monologue by Blair Singer emphasizing that discipline and consistency—showing up, being on time, and doing the minimum consistently—matter more than motivation or innate talent for long-term success. The speaker urges adopting a disciplined routine to outlast others and ultimately win.
If you're relying on motivation to be successful, you've already lost the game you want to win. Listen to this. I know that I'm not necessarily the smartest guy on the planet. I know that I don't have the best skills in the world for what I do. And you know what? I tend to be somewhat lazy, and I'm not great at motivating. But the one thing that I will bring to the table, that you can always bring to the table, that doesn't require any of that stuff that will allow you to win is a level of discipline. Showing up, being on time, doing what you're supposed to be doing on a consistent basis. A consistent basis. You do that the minimum, you'll be the last man standing, and you will win where everybody else has flown the coupe. Be amazing.
