Business is a Team Sport: Your Team is More Important Than Money

Blair Singer delivers a short motivational talk arguing that big dreams require teams: business, life, family, and wealth creation are 'team sports' and cannot be done alone. He urges entrepreneurs to get coaches and certified advisors, cites his own mentors (including Robert Kiyosaki), mentions the book "More Important Than Money is the Entrepreneur's Team," and promotes the Blair Singer Training Academy as a source of vetted coaches.
My question for you is how big is your game? What I mean by that is how big is your dream? How much money do you want to make? What kind of a leader do you want to become? What kind of a father, mother, husband, wife, friend do you want to become? And how big is that picture? Hi, my name is Blair Singer. Rich dad advisor Robert Kiyosaki, best selling author of three best selling books, Team Code of Honor, Sales Dogs and Little Voice Mastery. And the founder of the Blair Singer Training Academy which is a team of 200 of the finest world class teachers, leaders and facilitators on the planet. And I'm here to give you a very quick but powerful message. The bigger your dream, the bigger your goal. I want you to get one thing through your head. If you're an entrepreneur, it's probably a very thick skull too. If it's like mine, and that's this. You cannot do it alone. I know you think you're Superman or superwoman, but you cannot do it alone. Business is a team sport. Life is a team sport. Raising a family is a team sport. Creating wealth is a team sport. You cannot do it alone. The problem with a lot of people that go into business and they think I'm going to do it on my own when I make some money, then I'll bring a team. No, you need a team of advisors. You need a team of coaches. You need people that will support you to get where you want to go. And the bigger your goal, the bigger your dream, the more people you're going to need to support you to get there. Because if you're like me, there's no way you know everything. There's no way you know even half of everything. There's no way even, you know, 1/10 of 1% of everything. I could go on and on making my point and it took me many years to realize how stupid I was to believe that I could come up with all the answers. Because that's what school teaches you. You gotta have all the answers to get an A on your report card. But. But that doesn't mean anything anymore. One thing I've been blessed with is I've been blessed by great coaches and great advisors my entire life. I seem to attract the type of coach and advisor that loves to kick my butt for some reason. I don't know if you can relate to that, but that's what I need because I have a pretty thick skull sometimes. I get very stubborn in my approach. So I'm here to tell you that if you don't Have a coach. If you don't have good advisors, get them quickly. And by the way, that's why we wrote this book. More important than money is the entrepreneur's team. It's written by myself, Robert Kiyosaki, and each of the rich dad advisors. They are some of my best coaches and my best advisors and my best mentors, and they've made me millions and millions of dollars and helped me build a global business. If it weren't for them, I might be selling computers for the Burroughs Corporation somewhere in Honolulu. Wouldn't be too bad in Honolulu, but that's not my dream. Okay, so you need a coach. I have a health coach, and I have little voice coaches. I have business coaches. I have real estate coaches. I have people that support me, but not just anybody. People that I know, that are certified, that are good, that have gone through it themselves, that have been there, done that, that know the right questions to ask, that know that the answer is not in what they say, but the answer is in the question that they ask you, that you answer yourself. That's a great coach. So I recommend that if you don't have coaches, you can come to Blair Singer training academ. I have personally trained every single one of our coaches. They've been through the wringer. They know how to coach. There's a lot of people out there that don't. These people do, and they're not allowed to do it unless they pass a very stringent battery of testing, of interviewing, of auditioning, and of proving that they have been able to create what they're coaching you on in the real world. So again, coaching is critical. And the tougher the coach, the more money you will make. Be awesome.
