Can 1 hour a day change your life?

Blair Singer argues that one hour each morning on a simple routine changes your life. Drink water, make your bed, meditate, say affirmations, exercise. Physical activity moves you out of your head and sets the tone for a peaceful, productive day.
What if I told you there was a routine that in one hour or less every morning would change your life? Well, here I'm going to tell you this. Just about any routine that you do for an hour in the morning is going to change your life. Why? Because it's a routine. It forces you to do something physical. See, when you start thinking first thing in the morning or you start going to old non productive habits, that's the problem. So what do you do first thing in the morning? First thing, get a drink of water because you've been dehydrating all night. Second thing, make your bed. I know it seems stupid, just make your bed. I don't care if anybody else is going to make it later, you make it bring order into your life. Sit down, meditate a little bit, do some affirmations, get a little bit of exercise in and any variation. Because if you do something physical, the reason you need to exercise, the physicalness will take you out of your head and get you into your body, which will force you to get focused. If you start your day that way, the rest of your day will follow suit. You'll be focused, peaceful and on track. It'll change your life.
